R. Daniel Grossman, M.D. is the founder of The Eye Center of Southern Indiana and an acclaimed regional leader in eye surgery and cataract repair. Chad E. Huck, O.D., clinic director, is a board-certified medical optometrist who specializes in pre- and post-operative cataract surgery care. Steven E. Holbrook, O.D. is an expert in ocular surgeries with a storied career at some of the nation's most prestigious eye care institutes.
R. Daniel Grossman, M.D. has been a resident of Bloomington, IN for nearly his entire life. A decorated quarterback and linebacker for Indiana University during college, he went on to receive his medical degree from IU School of Medicine and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine.

I am so overwhelmed with emotion over the results of my Blepharoplasty. I could not say enough about how amazing Dr. Chang is. He did a beautiful job. His bed side manner was amazing! He was patient and caring. He explained everything he was doing the entire procedure. I am in love with my results. I would recommend Dr. Chang to anyone!

My appointment was at 9:00 and I knew they were going to do several tests due to my macular degeneration. They were all kind and patience and even tho there were quite a few patients there, I was out by 10:30. As always Dr Chang and his nurses were top notch. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else.

I've been a medicine myself for over 35 years, and I've never seen such a well oiled machine! My cataract surgery was a breeze and no pain at all! The staff and doctors are very friendly and kind, and I would recommend the Eye Center to anyone who needs any type of eye care, including eye surgery. Will recommend everyone at IU Health

Everyone at both the office and the surgery center are absolutely some of the most kind, caring professionals I have been around. My mother has some special needs and they allowed me to sit with her pre-op and post-op appointments. On the day of surgery the staff allowed me to sit in pre-op room with her until she went back. This kept her at ease and calm for the whole process. She has great vision now, thanks again to all the staff!

My experience at the Eye Center was outstanding in every way. The doctors and staff were caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and excellent with their procedures. Appointments were efficient. I would not go anywhere else. This has been an excellent choice for me and I would certainly do it again. My eyesight is near perfect! These people are terrific!

Everyone is so nice. From the receptionist to the surgeon. No long wait time for the appointments. I love that Dr Huck explained everything. He was attentive to all my questions, and helped me choose the best lens for me for both of my surgeries. Without reservation, I highly recommend The Eye Center.

I can see! Sharp and clear, and colors are really intense! I'm 68, and I was so scared I'd never be able to see clearly again. I had daily headaches, and everything was fuzzy, for months! To put it mildly, I was very uncomfortable. My cataract surgery was so fast, easy, and completely painless. Everything was explained to me, and went smoothly. It's been a week now, and aside from a little light sensitivity, it's terrific! Everything from 8 to as far away as I can see is incredibly clear. I'd do it again if I had to.

I've been going to the Eye Center for regular checkups since moving to Bloomington 5years ago and have been delighted with my care there and with Dr Holbrook and his team. I had an emergency once and when I called they said come right in.no wait! Last month I had bilateral cataract surgery with Dr Chang. Easy and efficient scheduling and coordination and the staff is friendly and caring! Dr Chang's back to back procedures were amazing! Everyone from the front desk forward gave me exceptional treatment. My wife accompanied me and she commented on how nice everyone was as well. I expected the professionalism of treatment I received, but I was equally impressed with the constant friendliness of the staff. Specifically, I must mention how pleased I was to receive a personal phone call at home from Dr. Andrew Huck the evening following my surgery. I am old enough to remember the days of "house calls" and I must say Dr. Huck impressed me. Thank you all VERY much.oh, and my eyes are working way better than I ever hoped!
