I called them to schedule a colonoscopy as a new Patient. The Staff seamed nice and told me a scheduler wasn't available and it would be 1 to 3 days before I would be contacted to give them information and be scheduled. 3 days went by and nothing! Called them again on Monday and asked for the person who left me a message. while I was on the other line with their Receptionist.
She is a Scheduler and is not available! Told me AGAIN 1 to 3 days before they would call me back! Today is the 3rd day and needless to say NO RETURN call again this week! Will not be using this practice!

Had a colonoscopy in October 2021. The doctor was an hour late for the procedure. The staff is rude when contacting them with questions. To make things worse, I was totally misdiagnosed and given medication that I didn't need and actually made me sicker. They just wanted to prescribe more drugs. Turns out, all I truly needed was Metamucil. Can't speak with anyone about my bill. Always have to leave a voice-mail or their patient portal and wait and wait and wait.

Hello Viewers: I was referred to this Medical office in July 2021. Had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Victoria Roswell. My immediate response and perception of her was phenomenal. She and I had a great rapport professionally. On the day in question she performed my colonoscopy. After, completion, " she stated that the procedure wasn't a success. due to a mass on my colon that prevented her from inspection .
Within speaking to her afterwards other alternatives were to be addressed. When I received a diagnosis and my insurance payed the fees in full. When the bill generated from Carolina Digestive someone entered the wrong code. Remind you as I stated previously the procedure couldn't be completed. Do how can you bill for another procedure and never discuss this with the patient?
Since then I have made several attempts to correct this serious medical error.and to this day no one seems to care. Making a mistake like this and expecting the patient to submit to a unclear bill summary is totally irresponsible and unprofessional for all members of this Dr's staff. What was supposed to be a colonoscopy she reported that a Sigmoidoscopy was done.
Since then I have emailed and continue to leave messages and no timely response. I am just surprised of this Gastroenterologist. Even so, she only been performing these procedures for approximately 10tears when I researched her credentials. This had been brought to my insurance company and they reached out to them. Secondly, billing representatives were so disrespectful to me when t asked questions to try and make sense of their errors.
Well to my surprise, Dr Rothwell sent me a certified letter on February 03, 2022. Her choice of word I took offense too. She stated " physician- patient relationship is based on mutual respect, rapport and trust." She go own to say" Unfortunately these factors no longer exist due to inability to achieve this rapport " Therefore, I am informing you as a patient services has been terminated from Carolina Digestive Health Associates as of 1/28/22.
Make up your mind Dr.? You tell me you don't want me as your patient and in the same content of your unprofessional behavior as a Dr.you then say you will provide services for a period of thirty - days no later then 2/28/22 while I transition to another provider. Viewers you know that's not the way a compassionate, caring Dr. would never speak to a patient that way!
You're late Dr. Rothwell, I wouldn't give you the opportunity to care for me ever again. As a medical professional this letter will be forwarded as a complaint. I have never did nothing wrong to this Dr. to deserve such a defiant attitude towards me as her former patient. People run from this practice because they will do you the same or worse in my opinion base of how they continue to harass me!

To make a long story short, the doctor / patient interaction at this establishment needs some work. The professional we worked with was extremely brief and dismissive. He stormed out of the room without any time to debrief post evaluation or answer any questions. Seems like an attitude adjustment would be beneficial. Will not be going back for future needs.

The Dr was very nice, but the receptionists were very standoffish. I understand it might not be the most fun job, but the people coming in are likely nervous about their procedure and a little bit of niceness goes a long way. I went up to the counter and instead of saying "hi" or "how can I help you", they just stared at me. Don't take a customer service job if you hate it so much.
