During the first trimester, nausea and vomiting are very common. For most people this is mild and doesn't require any treatment. Other people may experience more severe nausea and vomiting, which may occur every day. If you find your symptoms to be more severe, the following suggestions can be helpful.

The first appointment I went to I was told after waiting ~45 minutes that the doctor was on call and had to leave. I rescheduled and was able to have an exam. The doctor told me to tell the receptionist to order the IUD and make an appointment to get it put in three weeks later. I told the receptionist and they said it takes awhile to order so they would call me.
They never did. I called three weeks later and they said they would call back. Never did. I called a few more times with the same experience. I finally talked to someone helpful 2 months later who told me that the IUD was never ordered and that they are no longer ordering them due to them being backordered. I was advised to buy my own? and make an appointment to get it put in. I wish they would have been up front about this in the first place or at least called me back.

If I could leave zero stars on this place, I would. At 16 weeks pregnant, I started experiencing extreme tailbone pain. My right leg was also tingling and going numb. I called and asked to please be seen, and was told they didn't have time and I should stretch, take Tylenol, and alternate heat and cold. I did these things, but my pain continued to get worse.
It got to the point where I was throwing up, couldn't sit, stand, or walk, and definitely couldn't get into any stretch positions. I called multiple more times over a week period and expressed the fact that I could NOT move because of the pain. I kept getting told they didn't have time to see me and to stretch. I was also told, "this is likely how the rest of your pregnancy will go." After 8 days, I got a fever and started having chest pain.
I called again. This time I was told I could not be seen until I got a negative Covid test because chest pain is a Covid symptom. I was also told NOT to go to any emergency room or urgent care because of my chest pain. I ignored this, and went to an urgent care because I couldn't handle the pain any longer. The doctor there found a massive abscess in my tailbone, which had to be cut and drained. Now, I have an open wound and am on antibiotics 4 times a day.
The urgent care doctor said that my chest pain and fever was due to my infection getting so bad. Women's Health Care called two days after my urgent care visit to ask if I tested for Covid (I did at urgent care, it was negative). I told them about my trip to urgent care and my infection, and they responded with, "I don't know what you want me to say." I replied, "How about I'm sorry that you called so many times saying something was wrong and we refused to help you." She continued to be rude over the phone, and I hung up. Prior to this call, I had already filed a release form to switch providers and I filed a complaint. If your own health and your baby are your priority, do NOT go here.

I have been coming here for a few years, i have seen mostly all the drs. dr robbin, dr wittman, dr pearson are my favorites. good doctors, but i started to feel like an inconvenince. dr wittman is the sweetest lady dr i have ever had. but she couldnt do my gyno surgery i needed so i got sent to dr pearson. i had 2 prolapse surgeries with him within 6 weeks apart, and after my hysterectomy, i knew i would need another one because i continued to have pelvic organ prolapse, but he didnt seem to take me seriously. now 6 monts post op, and my prolapse is still here, actually worse than it was 6 mos ago, because that is what happens and it also is hereditary, but i was not taken seriously at all. it will need another surgery to repair it. last time i was in, the front desk girl was training, and a patient called, she put the patient on hold, and i could hear her talking bad about who was on the phone. while i was sitting right by the window. not ok! so i am getting refferred to another local gyno, kinda disappointing.

Waited two weeks for an appointment with Dr Wittman. Got there, got undressed and was sitting there waiting when the nurse came in and informed me that my Dr is actually on call and she got called in and I need to get dressed and leave. No one else can see me. I go to the receptionist and ask for some sort of receipt saying I'm not going to get charged.
She tells me to wait in the reception area so she can help the people behind me instead. I finally see a different receptionist and she tells me that the closest appointment for me is another two weeks out unless I want another "on call" appointment where this could happen again with no notice. I'll just go somewhere else that respects my time.

I would not recommend Women's Health Care of Western Colorado. They are extremely unorganized, high staff turn over rate, and their billing department is a complete mess. I would not give them any money until after your insurance company has figured out how much you will actually owe. It took 10 months to finally receive my refund. For months the billing department was filing the claim wrong.
They didn't keep track of my payments and how much I had paid because they still owe me money. There is NO Mesa Midwives, they had only one midwife that left because she had way too many clients all on her own. The transition was a disaster and no one knew what was going on, no one could help me schedule a follow up appointment after my baby was born.
It was awful. and I was in tears. The Dr. who did my 20 week ultra sound was rude and rushed through the whole thing, when that is supposed to be a special and magical moment. I would not recommend Women's Health Care of Western Colorado to anyone.

I highly recommend Women's Health Care of Western CO. The ladies up front are so helpful and nice. They are very easy to book appointments with. They get you in in a timely manner and waiting it the waiting room is always minimal. Dr. Robbins is without a doubt the best OBGYN in the business. He goes above and beyond for all of his patients. He delivered both my babies.
He listened to my concerns and celebrated every milestone. He also recently did my hysterectomy. I was terrified but he walked me back in to the operating room. He held my hand and made sure I was comfortable and safe feeling. He was more than a doctor that day. I cannot say enough about how amazing he is. I recommend him to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about his patients.
