The staff was very kind and professional. I expected the same from the PA. However she must have been having a hard day because she was rude and it was difficult for me to explain to her the pain I have been dealing with while waiting for it to heal. She said with a tone that she doesn't give pain medicine and I made it clear to her that is NOT why my doctor sent me to your Urgent Care. Hopefully she can adjust her attitude or have better days for the other patients. I don't think I need to see her again.

In my opinion, this is the only place to go in Chattanooga. I suffered with hip pain for 16 years and no one took me seriously because of my age. Three years age I needed a hip replacement. They found my problem and I had the best care and advice from the moment they found my arthritis until my hip replacement at 41. This is the ONLY place I would trust for any issue related to bones and joints. Doctors, PAs, and staff are very knowledgeable and thorough. I would highly recommend.

Jill Stafford was very pleasant, easy too talk to. Jill answered our questions if she didn't have the answer she told us to ask Dr. Ballard. Jill didn't make us feel rushed during our visit., she took her time in taking care of me.

Noone wants to need an orthopedic Dr, but I can say without q doubt if I do again.or anyone I know does. I will recommend the Center for Sports Medicine and Pace Rothery without hesitation. They have a wonderful balance of professionalism and friendly compassion that makes an inherently painful and unpleasant situation much more bearable. She explained, and showed me what was wrong clearly without being condescending or impatient. 5 stars are not enough for her and every other member of staff 8 encountered.

This review is only regarding Pace Rothery who was the Physician's Assistant that we saw for my teenager's fractured wrist on the growth plate. Every other staff member we encountered were very kind and helpful. However, Pace Rothery, PA came in the room with a coldness that definitely did NOT make you feel comfortable asking questions or make you feel at ease.

The images of my teenager's wrist were up on the computer screen and I walked over to look and asked her if she would point out the fracture. She then turned and started talking to my teenager completely ignoring my request. I then asked again and she said very nonchalantly "it's too hard to see." She literally refused to show me the fracture on the x-ray!

I even told the medical assistant when she came back in the room that she refused to let me see the fracture on the x-ray. My request was nothing out of the ordinary, and a treating clinician would usually automatically point it out to the parent without even being asked. I frankly don't feel confident that she made the correct decision on how she thought it should be treated over the next 6 weeks with the type of cast she chose.

I will be asking for a second opinion within the practice to ease my mind, because I do know some of the other doctor's and will ask for their analysis. The bottom line is this. The staff at the Center for Sports Medicine is TOP NOTCH! Their staff and clinicians are the best in the surrounding area, HOWEVER, Pace Rothery, PA is NOT one I would recommend.

I have written VERY FEW reviews over the years, but this warranted one for me. I will always go to the CFSM, but will refuse to see her again. I will reiterate all the other staff are absolutely great so don't hesitate to go there, because you will always receive the best care! She does not meet the high standards of the practice in my opinion.

I really want to express how cheerful and helpful Karen, at the front desk, is. Every time I walk in your door, she has always made me feel cared for and not just like another patient. She is the true meaning of customer service that so many places, their employees do not show this to their customers. I work at Walmart and I try to show our customers the same treatment as Karen shows me.

Thank you Karen. I think you are exceptional! But also, All the staff up front and throughout the office are professional and friendly, as well. The staff and my doctor are awesome also. I see Dr. Shay Richardson. They really listen and try to help you recover as quickly and safely as they can. They care about you.

Comes across as a volume business, nonexistent leadership. Clearly underpaid front of house, absolutely rude receptionist at the surgery center downtown. If you must use services at any of their locations, hold them to the same standards you would other providers, you are paying for services and at a minimum should be provided basic healthcare and professionalism. If you are uncomfortable with speaking up, bring someone with you to advocate on your behalf. Good luck and speedy recovery. :

When I searched for a place that could take care of my immediate need, I found them and they had almost 5 stars. Well, I'm giving them 5 stars because they are simply amazing. They all showed they care and took the time to help me. I'll definitely go back and recommend anyone to do so.

All visits at center for sports medicine have always been professional, courteous, and correct diagnosis. Dr. Brent Sanders is the best around for knee and shoulder repairs and Pace Rothery is great all around during follow up appointments and answering any and all questions! Best team around in my opinion.

I had a wonderful visit. Very professional treatment by Mr. Pulver. Great listener and very kind. He knows what he is doing. Explanation of diagnosis was very clear. I would see him again any time with confidence. I am feeling better today. Makes Xmas much more enjoyable. He showed me the x-rays in a way I could.understand.
