Dr. Jacobs will check the health of your eyes with a comprehensive eye exam, as well as provide you with the best options in glasses and contact lenses to meet your individual vision needs. We will coach you on the most effective ways to protect the health of your eyes.
No-Glare lenses provide you with clearer vision by reducing: glare, scratches, smudge, dust and water. No-Glare lenses mean safer, more comfortable nighttime driving by reducing glare from headlights, taillights and street lights. Also anti-glare treatments help reduce headaches, and eye fatigue caused by reflections from computer screens and daytime lights.
We offer a variety of contact lens types in order to meet your lifestyle needs, including bifocals, daily wear lenses, toric contacts, extended wear and rigid gas permeable lenses. We will determine the best fitting lens based on the shape and health of your eye. We carry AIR OPTIX, Acuvue, Biofinity, PureVision, and other brands.
Many commonly attribute their eye discomfort to Dry Eye, when a leading cause of the burning, scratching, and redness is Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, or MGD. MGD occurs when there is a compromise to the function and/or structure of the Meibomian glands. These glands, located in the eyelids, produce the protective oily (lipid) layer of the tear film.

The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Spent close to an hour with Dr. Jacobs who was concerned that I might be in an early stage of glaucoma. I had a number of scans and it ended well. I also got some additional help for my dry eye syndrome. On my previous visit I got some new glasses. The tech who helped me was knowledgeable and helped me make a quick and informed decision. I highly recommend Champion Eye Center.

The entire staff was excellent including: the receptionist, the assistant who prepped for the exam, the optometrist (who gave me most comprehensive eye exam ever), the assistant who helped me select my frames and the receptionist who took my payment. The waiting room and the exam room was spotless and the interior space and decor is very warm and inviting. I highly recommend Champion Eye Center!

This establishment continues to impress me. The service is top notch! I've worked with Joel for a few months now and I'm coming on my 3rd pair of glasses. Joel answers all my questions and always shows a willingness to help me find the perfect pair of glasses. It's a stark difference from other vision centers. Staff were friendly and helpful, eye exam was thorough (longer than I expected but only so the doctor could properly do their job). I browsed glasses while waiting for my eyes to dilate and I was helped picking out 2 pairs that caught my interest. Costs were laid out but I never felt pressured to buy. Overall great experience. Try to arrive early if you're new so you have time to fill out some paperwork.

The staff is always so friendly and helpful! The exams I have received from Dr. Jacob's are very thorough and I have never been disappointed in their level of customer service and the quality of their products. Professionalism and great customer service is hard to come by these days. I would highly recommend them!

I am very impressed with this vision center. To start, they have a great selection. I went to other places and all they had was old styles that were not very desirable. Here I had a multitude of choices with actual nice frames. This is a huge plus. My wife had a very positive experience with the eye doctor, and I worked directly with Joel. He was professional and patient, understood I could not be there for a long time due to restrictions with work, and accommodated my needs. Very detailed and thoughtful. I will be getting two pairs and be returning again for my vision needs. This will be my recommended place! Thanks Joel.

First I looked at the Optometrists that were in my vision plan and found Champion Eye Center. I liked what I found - online reviews and went in for a customer service test. I was greeted by Joel (been there for 10 yrs- a good sign) and I asked if he could realign my Oakley eyeglass frames which he did. I use this method to determine the quality of customer service.
He impressed me so much that I went to the front counter where Melodie scheduled my eye appointment. At my eye exam appointment Christine (been there for 15 yrs-another good sign) completed the intake process with outstanding service. Dr. Kilgo was extremely through with my exam explaining everything and also impressed me with her professional expertise.

I selected Champion Eye Center after reading all the positive YELP reviews. Everyone was right! They are wonderful. Everyone I encountered was helpful and nice. Rebecca was amazing! She helped me select my lenses and was patient and knowledgable. Dr. Kilgo was informative using English, not medical terms. She took her time and gave a thorough exam. The receptionist (marilyn?) was attentive and even wanted to see what I had selected when I checked out. I can not say enough about this place. Look no further!

Loved this office. Went as a new patient. When I got there they already had all of my insurance information figured out so I knew exactly what was covered and what wasn't. They were really thorough with the exam etc. Plus it the office is new and super clean which i'm picky about. Plus my glasses were ready in two days! Definitely recommend.

Excellent service! I needed to get an appointment quickly and they got me in the office in a couple of days. Dr Kilgo was very nice and took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions. They have a great selection of frames and were able to get my glasses ready in a few days. Everyone there was nice and made a wonderful impression on me. Eye exams are usually not something we look forward to, but the Champion eye center made it a pleasant experience.
