Robert E. Rothfield, MD, FACS is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has operated his own private practice since 1994. Dr. Rothfield received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College in 1981 and his medical degree from the University of Miami in 1986.

Dr. Rothfield is a very experienced and skilled surgeon. I think it is important to have an accountable physician when you opt to have a cosmetic procedure done, especially in South Florida. His approach to surgery and management took away most of the reservations I had prior to surgery. He was available for consult in person and via phone multiple times before my procedure and he has been following my progress diligently since the procedure.
My initial consult with him was much different and re-assuring compared to other ones I had in South Florida previously. His process is very patient centered. My biggest concern was pain management. However, Dr. Rothfield and his wonderful anesthesiology team made sure I did not need any opioids during recovery. All I needed was a muscle relaxant and Tylenol.
I never felt any pain except for a little tightness for 2-3 days post surgery, which was well managed by the muscle relaxant. I was indecisive and nervous when it came to picking a size and Dr. Rothfield was extremely helpful in helping me figure that out. I am beyond happy with the results. His office staff members are also wonderful and so easy to work with throughout the process.

I had a breast implant exchange with Dr. Rothfield and really hada great experience, the doctor was very open to listen to what I wanted to do, how I wanted to look, and all my doubts were solved previous to my surgery. Also, the staff is very kind and polite, they make you feel comfortable at all times. The doctor has a very strict post op checking which I love because he really follows your results and progress! Couldn't have chosen better doctor to my surgery.

Dr. Rothfield and his entire staff are just amazing, they are both professional and compassionate. For years I struggled with some physical issues that impaired my ability to do many things. Surgery was recommended by my primary care physician a couple of years earlier. I was scared and put it off until I couldn't any longer. One visit to Dr. Rothfield's office and I knew he understood my concerns and fears.

If I can add more stars, I 100% would! This is the best doctors office I have ever been to. The staff is amazing, Lizzy, Loida, Stacy you ladies are so kind and helpful. Thank you for always being there. When I started this process, I did intense research on each doctor to make sure I choose the right one. Dr. Rothfield was the first doctor I met and after leaving the consultation, I knew he was the Doctor to do my surgery.
After visiting other ones, none compared. He is very intelligent, addresses all your concerns, explains to you everything he will do, eases your nerves (bc I had many lol) gives you his feedback, and so much more! Thank you Dr. Rothfield! Dr. Rothfield did my breast augmentation in December and I couldn't be happier with my results. From the beginning he explained everything thoroughly and answered any question I had. His office team was also super helpful with any questions I had and making sure I was all set for my procedure. After the surgery I haven't had complications or pain.
I've had many follow up appointments and will continue to have them for about a year as he wants to ensure everything is healing and looking as it should; I found that to be extremely reassuring and appreciate that he takes the time to continue to see patients even after the procedure. I definitely recommend Dr. Rothfield and his team!

I am very selective when it comes to medical care! Dr R is an amazing, honest doctor who truly cares with the best bedside manner and calm nature! All of his staff are also very polite and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Rothfield and I am super impressed with my results. He is professional, knowledgeable, a family man and has extensive experience in his field of expertise which is why I chose him over many others I had considered and trusted him along with personal recommendations from my close friends. Dr. Rothfield and his staff are absolutely wonderful! Not to mention how extremely pleased I am with the results! Every step of the process has been easy and they were there to help guide me the whole time. From the consultation to trying on the implants all the way up to the surgery and the post-op appointments I have felt like they really care about every patient they see. Dr. Rothfield is easy to talk to and answered every question I had with full knowledge and guidance and kept me comfortable at all times. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get natural-looking, great healing, beautiful results!
