My family went to Dr. Wolf's MWC office a few times but have ended up at our previous Optometrist, even though they no longer accept our insurance and we have to pay out of pocket. It's worth it to go to an office where the staff is patient, courteous, and helpful. The opposite of Dr. Wolf's office, where the staff is hateful, and the doctor is very curt and dismissive.

ZERO STARS! The office staff let me schedule both of my children's' appointments weeks ago, fill out new patient paperwork, etc. NEVER told me their age would be an issue online, via email, or via phone call. It's the day before the appointment and they just notice. Now I am unable to get the kids in anywhere else and they cannot see. The customer service is gross and embarrassing.

I went to this office a couple of months ago and while the visit was overall okay, I definitely have a complaint about Dr. Wolf's attitude. Beware if you are hard of hearing or have difficulty understanding because you will get snipped at. I can tell that Dr. Wolf is excellent in the ophthalmology field and is still compassionate. Though he couldn't find any difficulty with my eyesight, he still didn't dismiss my concerns and just referred me to a pediatric ophthalmologist instead which is amazing.
The doctors office is nice, but had to take off two stars because of the attitude. Like I understand that long, hard hours are worked as a doctor and there may have been something going on, but the attitude is highly unappreciated. Still recommend this ophthalmologist office and Dr. Wolf though.

If I could give zero stars I would! Patients Beware! During my annual eye exam in May 2018 they performed an extra so called "Medical Procedure" without informing me of any additional costs. Seven months later I received a bill. I called the office on several occasions, over a 15 month period, to try and get an explanation of the billing. I could never get anyone to answer my questions let alone get a call back as they promised several times to do.
If I had been told of the additional charge, I would have elected not to have it done. I feel cheated. Now I get a letter from a collection agency to pay. Needless to say my husband and I will never use Dr. Wolf again and will advise everyone we know of their sorry customer service and arrogance.

This person should have their license to practice put under review. There is a VERY clear double standard being applied, where low-income patients receive sub-standard care vs. the paying ones. This moron told my healthy 63 y/o mother that she was not a candidate for lasik due to her age. This procedure requires no anesthetic, no extended recovery period, no post-operative medications, and no preoperative measures. AND he told her that the ER which referred her gave her the wrong medication for her eye, wrote her an expensive prescription it would take her a month's income just to fill, so now she's not taking ANYTHING for her eye! This "doctor" is NO SUCH THING!

He treated my 9 year old daughter as if she was his only patient. They joked around and had conversation while he was doing her exam. Reassured her the "big scary machines" were nothing to be afraid of. She had an excellent experience and if you have kids, I highly recommend this doctor. And he's pretty easy on the eyes as well.;

I wish I had read the reviews before I brought my daughter! Sam's Optical referred this office (we love them), but we are still sitting here after almost an hour and a half. I realize that things happen but it might be nice if people were nicer and tried to help instead of being condescending and rude. We will not come back.

Don't go! Don't go! Just, Don't go. Never met a ruder staff or doctor. The doctor does not listen to your issues or needs and the person who does the contact fitting is more interested in making money than listening to what you truly want in a contact. They double book, so you are there for hours when you go. I will never return. I left feeling bullied and very disrespected.

I took my 16 year old son there for an eye exam. He has seen other doctors in the past, but I figured I would take him to this doctor since it was convenient. I asked the doctor only 1 question during the exam regarding my son's vision, and he flat out refused to answer the question. He told me if I wanted to know the answer then I could "Google" the answer to my question.
I was flabergasted by his response! Afterall, I was paying around $100 for this visit and he couldn't answer 1 simple question about my son's vision. Then when I was checking out, the receptionist tried charging me a $60 fee for the contact fitting and stated my insurance did not cover it. Luckily I had an email from my insurance company that I had printed off, and I showed it to her.
She looked very surprised by my email and then she told me she would bill the insurance company for this "non-covered charge". I asked her how much the eye exam was and she stated it would be $100. It wasn't until my insurance company processed the claim that I found out the exam was actually $131.00, so that was the 2nd lie they told me about the actual charges.
