I had been willing to do all everything except CPAP machine, did sleep study which was terrible could not sleep at all. I can see why no ones insurance will cover cost of the machines. I have had multiple surgery's with 0 issues never did any of them require sleep study, All the Doctors I see could not understand i need a sleep study to even get surgery done.
Each explained if your overweight they will say you need machine and to lose weight. So since I will not rent a used machine that they can set me up with a company to do that. Nor am i will I purchase a one I feel I don't need that will cost me another $100.00 for for machine. I can not have procedure done. People I work with that have Sleep Apnea and have machine are telling me they have all had surgery's done and never brought there machine nor mask to hospital.
One had there stomach that did an hernia in to her chest and she was told not to bring it. Just wanted to let anyone know how much out of pocket you may be out off beyond what they tell you, For me this was just to much.

Critical: Communication I've been buying my vitamins from Weightwise for years and until recently have never had a problem. They changed their online store and now I can't get my order to go through. Couldn't get through to anyone on the phone and nobody will answer my emails. I finally gave up and just ordered from Amazon.

I'm just starting my Bariatric Program. I will have the Vertical Sleeve surgery. I am very impressed with all coordinators, doctors, and nurses as well as having a wonderful session with Dr. Walton, my surgeon. I feel very well informed with all aspects of my weight loss surgery, from diet & exercise to overall health and well being. Thank you so much to the team at WeightWise and I look forward to what's coming next for me.

This place is amazing, the people that work there are super friendly and supportive throughout the entire process. The entire experience was so positive that myself and 2 other family members used them. My dad was the first to have the gastric sleeve surgery with them and 6 months later I did it. My mother is now in the process of having it done.

I had my surgery with Dr. Broussard, who is legitimately one of my favorite people in the world. He is very straightforward and honest and doesn't sugar coat anything for you, but I appreciate that in a doctor. He really genuinely cares about you, your outcome, and health. He is an excellent surgeon and I trust him completely. The staff at Weightwise is also very friendly and competent. I have had zero issues and I would recommend them to anyone.

Had my first appt. And i must say that Dr. B and the staff are very helpful and caring. Ashley one of the many Patient Advocates has been very helpful and quick to respond, even in this time of having to have appts via video conferencing. If you are in need of help with weight issues i will 100% suggest checking into Weightwise.

Dr. Walton is an amazing surgeon! I truly enjoyed working with his entire time. The Weight Wise program is one of the best I have ever seen. The team consists of Dr Walton, patient advocates, a psychiatrist, dietitians, exercise physiologists, and registered nurses. Everyone has been amazing. I love my results and would refer anyone thinking about weight-loss surgery to this practice.

My husband David and I are just starting the whole process for our weight lost surgery. I had my first meeting with Dr. Broussard today. He is so friendly and easy to talk to. Sharon is a doll in the office and helped me get my paperwork ready and Lisa is great communicating with me on everything I need to get done! We can't wait to get started! Weight wise is the number 1 place to go!

So where do I start? Well let's start at the front desk, these amazing ladies are the best. they are so friendly and always willing to answer my many questions and keep reminding me when my appointments are. Next my is patient advocates Jayme, can't say enough great things about her and I'm sure I just drive her up the wall with all my crazy questions and needs.
She never hesitates to reach back out to me and always is very speedy on her response time. Dr. Walton, this fella right here is awesome. I was a nervous wreck about having my surgery and he literally took the time to sit down with me in my consult and answer all my question and put my mind at ease. The best bed side manor and a very caring surgeon.
If you are thinking about weight loss surgery, i would for sure give the guys and gals a shout at Weight Wise. It changed my life and I have new life long friends because of the amazing staff, surgeons and fellow patients.

I was so excited to get in to Dr Walton so quickly. Submitted my insurance information and completed the new patient information the day the appointment was scheduled. Two weeks later I arrived at my appointment. All went well until I mentioned to Dr Walton that I was on Medicare. Then he explained that the physicians don't accept Medicare. I was speechless.
I can't move forward without insurance coverage. When I left, they charged me for the visit. Again, I was shocked and honestly mad. They had 2 weeks to inform me of this information. But they chose to have me come to their office so that they could charge me for the visit! Even if I choose to pay a physician, it will not be WeightWise. They were not honest with me up front.

Dr Broussard was my physician. I had the sleeve surgery. First, the facility is beautiful. I found most employees to be pleasant. When you are a patient, you are assigned a patient advocate who is suppose to help you with your process, surgery and follow up care. I was pleased with my nutritionist and physician. I was not pleased with my advocate.
She was snotty and unhelpful. I had one set of lab work done pre surgery. I was told nothing of it except it needed done. Now.i had already paid $12,000 in cash for the surgery. Next I get a bill for the lab I had drawn for $3,200.00. Insurance wouldn't pay and I felt I hadn't been prewarned about this additional cost. When I was told I'd have to do the lab tests again after a set amount of time (post surgical), I explained I couldn't afford another $3,200.00.
My husband had just had sinus surgery due to an accident and my daughter had just had tendon transfer surgery on both legs due to muscular dystrophy. After I told my advocate that I can't afford it right now, her response was " there's no point of you even coming in again then is there?" I never went back. I felt very betrayed, embarrassed and upset by her lack of understanding. I won't go back. After that. I understood they didn't care about me or my health as they tried to have me believe. I was merely a paycheck.

I went in for my initial consultation the 3rd week of October 2014. I opted for gastric sleeve. I had to lose 15 lbs and lower my blood sugar prior to my surgery which was scheduled for 11-11-14. Dr. Broussard put me on a 5 protein shake a day diet and I lost 28 lbs by surgery date. Surgery went extremely well. Very little discomfort and recovery was quick.
I was back to work 2 days after surgery. I have had absolutely no sensation of hunger since the surgery and feel full after 4 or 5 bites. I have lost an additional 32 lbs since (4 weeks). I feel 20 years younger. I've gone from 284 lbs to 224 lbs in just 7 weeks and should end up around 185 - 190. More importantly my blood sugar went from 300 to 85, cholesterol from 980 (not a typo) to 123, a1c from 8.3 to 5.8.
I feel like I have added decades to my life. DO NOT WAIT! If you are overweight go talk to Dr. Broussard immediately. Also, low interest financing is available at Allegiance Credit union in Edmond. If your insurance doesn't cover the surgery it will run about $240.00 per month. You will save more than that in food.
