Dr. Ballon-Landa is the best doctor. He saved my life. Other physicians and specialist could not diagnose the cause of my illness but would not admit to it and would send me to take test after test after test. Dr. Ballon-Landa saw me held a normal human conversation with me and treated me as a human being not as a rare science project. My mother and I sat in his office (I was so ill and weak that I needed someone to drive me) and watched him turn in his chair and make phone calls to conduct additional tests on the tests the hospitals already had.
On the second visit he had a diagnosis. He saved my life. I completely trust him and my trust can be measured. I am now referring my daughter to him because "other" specialist can not diagnose her. It is one thing to trust a doctor with your own life but it is another thing to trust a doctor with your child's life. I hope this post conveys what a passionate dedicated doctor he is. Dr. Ballon-Landa does not give up nor does he allow his patients to, as he did not allow me.

Dr Ballon-Landa is one of the best doctors and best people I've met. He treated me for a very serious illness while at Mercy Hospital. He came in every day to see me, he made a personalized treatment plan for me and coordinated this treatment with other doctors in my treatment team. Besides being a wonderful doctor, kind, compassionate (I saw him interact with a 90+ year-old woman in his office, personally wheeling her out of his office in her wheelchair) he is just a great guy with a good sense of humor and a lust for life and adventurous travel. JUST THE BEST. (and the staff's awesome too).

I am writing this letter for my mother who Dr Ballon landa took care of for 3 months at scripps mercy hospital! We went there from Az just for him to take care of my mother. He spent countless late nights and hours trying to figure out how to fight a horrible bacteria! He worked really hard to care for my mother! My mother loved to see him because she knew he was the leader of this awesome team of doctors trying to cure my mother! Unfortunately this bacteria took ahold of her and she lost her battle but I no regrets that we took her there! Thank you dr ballon landa from the bottom of my heart!

Make sure you look up this place on google first. Looks like and old house. Came here to get my travel vaccines and also get some prescriptions for my trip No parking on the street unless you have a local permit. 5 parking spaces in the back and very tight space. Secretaries are very polite. Waiting room is very comfortable. Medical staff have an album of their trips out of country so it's nice to know that they have experience of the area you may be traveling and they can vouch for what you may or may not need.
I work with Scripps so luckily my insurace fully covers my travel vaccines. But as I looked for pricing I have noticed they are in the middle. For example Hep A is $114. Nurse practioner actually doing the Vaccines, evals, and consultation. Very nice, not at all hard to ask questions. Overall service excellent. Priceing is mediocre.
