Arkansas Pathology Associates P.A. (APA) is an independent group of 10 pathologists in Little Rock. Our laboratory has provided a broad range of pathology services since the mid-1920s and currently serves 21 hospitals, as well as many physicians' offices throughout Arkansas. We utilize APA Specimen Tracking, which is an internal smartphone app built specifically for our labs.

It combines a powerful, web-based administrative system with a field-based data collection system to track individual specimens from the hospital or physician's office to the pathology laboratory.
Services
Our Cytopathology Department offers cytology services in GYN and non-GYN cytology. We utilize the ThinPrep Pap test technology that provides a slide with an unobscured monolayer of cells, which improves the accuracy in interpretation of the cells. Additional testing can also be performed from the ThinPrep vial.

Not sure why I'm being billed or why I was turned over to collections when I MADE you charge my other insurance. I have primary and secondary and you failed to bill either of them. Unprofessional. You will not be getting your $100 from me. L O L

I randomly got a bill from the collection agency from these guys and not once ever received a bill from the association itself in the mail stating that I needed to make a payment.

I wouldn't trust a lab that hires and has employees that blatantly posts such ignorant and false information on social media. Easy to believe this type of thinking is rampant within the company and wouldn't trust them with any lab work.

Please ask what organization is testing your samples and request another if it's Arkansas Pathology Associates. This is a terrible clinic with lazy, useless people in their billing department who I found out today has been sending me a bill to who knows where, and apparently felt it was easier to send my measly $147 bill to collections and possibly damage my credit than to make an attempt to find my phone number! If they didn't have my number, which hasn't changed in about 20 years, they could've called the hospital, but I guess that was to much work.

I have asked APA to file a claim on my insurance 3 times in the past 3 months for lab work that was requested by an in-network physician for preventative care that is 100% covered by insurance. They have not filed any claims with my insurance, even though I've provided them with my insurance information and directions on how to correctly file the claim, and they keep sending a bill.

My dad visited the Hot Springs location and never received a bill and then shortly after was turned over to collection agency even though his insurance "paid". Insurance is trying to get info from billing department here and says they fax over wrong info each time. This has been going on 3 weeks now.

Absolutely the worst accounting service ever. Do not use this company if you have any control over your healthcare. My elderly aunt became ill and I got involved in her finances. It is been a nightmare dealing with this company. First they said we owed them money than they realize they owed us a refund and then the straw that broke the camels back is I finally get a final notice and within two days it's turned over to collections.

I called to try to pay the bill and they say it was turned over to collections three days ago you will have to call them. I called the number they give me and no one answers. I call back in a put on hold. I can't seem to pay a bill that I didn't even know I had. And to be honest my aunt probably doesn't even owe the fee. Very frustrating.

This is the only medical service provider where I have a problem with their billing. Every time CHI St. Vincent Urology group in Hot Springs sends a sample for examination to this company - I wind up getting a bill - even though my secondary insurance paid the balance of the Medicare approved amount. This has been happening on separate bills multiple times for three years!

I am tired with their excuses. They need to fix this billing. I'm hoping their testing is more accurate than their billing department. Next stops: State of Arkansas, Attorney General and Better Business Bureau!

Didn't get billed at all. was turned into collections after 2 months. Collection agency proceeded to list various incorrect addresses and phone numbers that they "attempted" to reach me at several times. Weird. since my labs were from my PCP WHO HAVE THE CORRECT INFO

Piss poor outfit. Only take Blue Cross. Never filed, never billed me, just turned me over to a collection agency. They are so sorry that they don't even have a Health Grade rating.
