In most cases, you will walk away with the certificate you need for the DMV at the end of your visit. FMCSA/DOT is requiring DOT Medical Examiner Certification to ensure that driver health issues are addressed before drivers are medically cleared to be on the road. The medical examination may only be performed by a Medical Examiner listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.

Both my father and grandfather were Chiropractors so I came out of the womb with a strong DNA towards alternative healthcare. Fortunately I have been able to live my life outside of the typical medical influence. I'm relatively new to Bend and have been searching for a functional medicine practitioner. My previous resident state did not license Naturopaths, so I was delighted to find Dr. Rob Skarperud.
I presented with some very annoying skin rashes and itching that I had been dealing with for years and unable to find help or solutions. Dr. Rob listened, asked probing questions and provided me a very successful treatment plan. Following his suggested protocol now for about a month has made me symptom free. Yea! I would highly recommend Blue Star Clinic to anyone who has on-going "unsolvable" medical issues.

I had a visit at Blue Star Naturopathic Clinic about a 3 weeks ago, I have been reflecting on my visit with Dr. Skarperud since because it was one of the best doctor visits I have experienced in years. Dr. Skarperud possesses something that is unfortunately lacking with many doctors that I have met, this is a very important skill, the ability to effectively listen.
He listens, this allows him to make some accurate recommendations based upon the symptoms discussed. He takes an individualized approach, truly relating to what you are saying. I found it refreshing to meet a doctor such as Dr. Skarperud because as we age, sure enough, we deal with some health issues, and it helps to have a doctor that listens, allowing for sound recommendations.

After having a terrible experience at another clinic in town, it was so refreshing to have such a warm, welcoming, professional and personal environment here at blue star. Physicians are top notch and actually listen to your needs and care about you, and the receptionist is a peach as well. Very comforting environment, with affordable, personalized solutions. Highly recommend!

I've seen Dr. Grisez for 5 years now. I was looking for another option for me and my family for a family physican. I like the fact that our whole family can go to one clinic for basic health stuff. I had tried a few other mainstream Clinics and most left me feeling like just another patient. One of the first times I went, My young son at the time had a huge ear infection and some congestion, She gave me a homeopathic remedy and something like a blend of essential oils to help the congestion.
He was pain free the next day. They are very big on nutrition and supporting the body to enable itself to heal. Instead of throwing drugs at symptoms. I got to know Dr. Grisez (and when she wasn't available, Dr. Skarperud.) I love the fact that they really know who you are and they spend time with a patient getting down to the reasons why we are 'sick'.
My other son has an enlarged kidney from birth, nothing major so far just tests to ensure it is working properly, in addition to seeing the kidney specialist, it was nice to have Dr. Grisez to visit with regarding the tests that included dangerous chemicals, Supporting his body with 'good stuff'

I came here on recommendation of a good friend, Blue Star had helped her heal after an intense thyroid diagnosis. This was my first trip to a naturopath and it was such a great experience. I hadn't realized that this type of doctor is trained as a physician plus more. The focus on full bodied health based on food, sleep, exercise was definitely refreshing.
I appreciated the long thorough conversation and feel like I am starting a relationship with a doctor rather than treated for symptoms, prescribed pills and pushed out the door.
