Hormonal changes are a natural part of life, but they can cause uncomfortable side effects. Now, relief from symptoms like vaginal dryness and painful intercourse is possible with minimally invasive MonaLisa Touch laser treatments! The MonaLisa Touch is a specially designed C02 fractional laser that can relieve some of the most uncomfortable side effects caused by changing estrogen levels. The MonaLisa Touch uses technology similar to that of facial aesthetic lasers, but is intended to produce new collagen in the vaginal walls.

Dr. Travis is knowledgeable, professional and personable! She always takes time to explain the situation and treatment options and answer my questions. She is very thorough in researching the situation and takes reasonable precautions to determine the cause. I have complete trust in her assessment and diagnosis and solution. Most recently she preformed surgery and things were done exactly as she had told me it would.
She has been my doctor for more than 20 years and I highly recommend her with no reservation. Her assistant, Stephanie, is very reliable to return calls and answer questions. She is professional, knowledgeable and compassionate! They both communicate very well and keep in touch with patients to be sure recovery is going well, and they seem to genuinely care!

I just started going to this practice seeing Dr. Carlton. She is amazing! She explains every step of the process and asks for consent for every single step, even just touching your leg and really emphasizes that you have the right to withdraw consent at any point if it gets to be too much mentally. She is very thorough, understanding, and takes time to answer questions.
It's clear her passion lies with helping women understand their reproductive health after the education system has essentially failed us in good and thorough education on our bodies. I was able to get a diagnosis for an issue I've had for 15ish years. I feel like I have body autonomy with her to make decisions for myself and reproductive health, which is all I really want from a provider, but ESPECIALLY my gynecologist.
The one thing (not really a negative but just a thought) I would say is for the ultrasound tech and nurse that took care of me. Want to preface this by saying they are LOVELY and I would gladly let them be a part of my care team any time: I am a very anxious person in medical settings. I would caution the ultrasound tech to try not to comment on anything she sees and just keep the conversation outside of that.
There was one thing she said sort of in passing that made me worry. Which again, I'm an anxious person, so someone who doesn't have that kind of anxiety probably wouldn't have thought about it. Then, when I went with the nurse to discuss the ultrasound findings, the nurse had sterile instruments and was getting a cup of betadine scrub ready then before saying anything else said the doctor may do an endometrial biopsy.
Because of my anxiety, I immediately panicked and thought the doctor saw something really concerning. She said the doctor "may or may not" do it. She's very sweet and seems very competent, but just something to be aware of. Maybe prep that stuff after the patient gone into the exam room? Or explain a little bit about the reason?

I can not recommend Dr. Stacey Olney enough. She's been my provider since the moment she happened to be the OB on call during my daughter's birth almost four years ago. She listens to my concerns with genuine care and attention, responds patiently with thorough answers and without every being condescending or annoyed as I've experienced with other providers.
I've never left her office without feeling heard. She respects my autonomy completely and I have always appreciated her willingness to educate and inform rather than dismiss.

As always, I was greeted professionally and friendly by the front office staff. I had a short wait before I was taken back. Dr. Olney took her time with me, listened to my concerns and was treated professionally. Her nurse was efficient and professional as well. I would recommend Dr. Olney and this practice 100%!

My experience at Biltmore OBGYN this morning was nothing short of amazing. From the front desk ladies to the medical assistant to Nan Nussman, I felt so welcomed and cared for. I was quite an anxious patient for my first annual exam and Pap after some traumatic experiences elsewhere, but I truly felt so safe and respected in this environment. Couldn't recommend higher!

After talking with Stephanie and others at the office for weeks, I received a phone call on Monday saying that they suddenly aren't going to take me as a transfer. They could have told me this weeks ago if it was truly going to be an issue based upon my case (which it wasn't). Their excuse was a cop-out, and I was truly disappointed by the way they treated my situation.
I understand Covid-19 has changed the way a lot of businesses are operating, but pregnant women seeking help should receive the highest level of care, and that is not how Biltmore OB treated me. I do not recommend them at all.

I have been going to Biltmore OB-GYN about six years now and this place delivered two of my babies. I love all the doctors and that they are all females. My doctor was Lisa cottor, she always listened to what I had to say and overall was a great doctor. After I got pregnant they switched me to doctor Lisa Chitour who has delivered my babies and she too always listens well to what I'm saying and is an amazing doctor. I would never change to another provider. I love this place and feel comfortable while I'm there.

I have been going to this practice since I was 21. Firstly, i love that all the providers are females. This was very important to me. I have used them for GYN care as well as OB care (first child born December 2018.) During the course of my pregnancy, which was determined to be high risk after 20 weeks when i developed gestational hypertension, i saw all 6 of the OB providers. Lauren and Michelle (the midwives) are dreams, and Dr. Cohen has some of the softest hands of any physician I've ever seen. Drs Travis, Chitour, and Olney were great as well.
Throughout the course of my 37 hour labor, i saw all the providers as well. Michelle even stayed after her shift was over to see my little one finally born. I could not recommend these skilled providers highly enough.

Arrived 12 minutes late due to storm and traffic. Was treated with complete disrespect and told my appt was cancelled since I was "so late". Took me months to even get this appointment. No one else was in the waiting room. Asked to have the spot of the person after me since they obviously took her. Nope. Unacceptable and unconscionable. Be aware!

I went here recently as a new patient for my annual exam. A little nervous as I was new and previously had a terrible experience at another gyn office in Asheville. However, I was blown away with the remarkable servic and treatment that I received here. From the warm welcome of the front desk, to the cozy environment of the office, to the gentle understanding nature of the clinical staff, I'm sold.
This is hands down the office I want to come to for my OB and GYN care. I saw Lisa Cotter for my first visit. Let me tell you, she is incredibly thorough, caring, compassionate, funny and truly down to earth. She actually listened to my concerns and put me at ease. She expressed understanding of what I was telling her also. I left feeling happy and confident in the staff at Biltmore Ob-gyn.
Never have I left after having a pap done with a smile. I whole heartedly and highly recommend coming here. They are truly all about patient care and putting patients first rather than money and flashing their degrees in your face

I love this practice! I have been a patient there for over 10 years and have always received great care. They have cared for me through the birth of two children and several medical issues. Most recently, they cared for me during a 3 1/2 week hospital stay. During this time I saw all providers and received the best care! I have only good things to say about Biltmore Ob-gyn!

This is only a start to a formal complaint being filled with the Better Business Bureau. First, don't be fooled with any kidness that they give you at first. I can promise you, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING OR YOUR BABIES. Anyone that is logical can understand a reschedule of an appointment, and i am more than understanding. But when you are 8 weeks pregnant with your first child, the LAST thing you want is to have your appointment scheduled almost 2 WEEKS OUT when they have to reschedule.
And don't you dare express your concerns to them, i forewarn you, because that will ONLY result in them CANCELLING ALL OF YOUR appointments, and better yet?! TELLING YOU, YOU CANNOT EVER COME BACK. This is beyond against the law of a business, especially whenever i have proof that i have done nothing wrong. I have all the information i need to show how badly they treat people. Good luck if you want to try this OBGYN, you are better off giving birth at home and getting regular check ups from your neighbor.

This has to be the worst practice in Asheville, NC. Dr. Saltzman is a great doctor, but she needs to fire the entire staff and start from scratch. The personnel are rude, ignorant and ineffective at managing patient records and care. They never return calls, you are put on hold for long waits, repeated calls for appointments are never answered, they are mainly concerned with billing services not patient care- absolutely no follow ups.
When attempting to get a copy of records, the office kept asking me why I wanted my records and when I stated to move to another practice, they refused release of my information against regulations. Is this standard for patient service, I think not. If you want professional progressive care which is patient centered, go elsewhere!

Dr. Morel had helped me with a ton of issues over the course of about four years. She is the best gynecologist I've ever had and even though I now live in San Francisco, I am tempted to fly back to Asheville just to visit with her for my regular check ups. As far as I am concerned, she is the best. Also her staff is super helpful and attentive.
