Blocked nasal passages can make everyday activities such as eating, speaking, exercise, and sleeping more difficult. Less oxygen is delivered to the lungs as a result of nasal congestion, limiting one's potential to perform essential tasks. Often, chronic nasal stuffiness results from enlarged turbinates.
Difficulty swallowing can occur at any age. The term dysphagia refers to difficulty passing food or liquid from the mouth to the stomach. This may be caused by a variety of factors, some of which are highlighted below. Gastroesophageal reflux: Reflux occurs when acid from the stomach lining travels up the esophagus and irritates the throat.

Would give 0 stars! Was just a waste of our time. Scheduled an appointment on the website to the Voorhies Ave office but it scheduled us to the other office location. When I called the Voorhies Ave office to make sure that the appointment went through to the Voorhies Ave office the receptionist made me look stupid telling me that I made the appointment to the other office instead of the Voorhies Ave when I specifically selected the Voorhies Ave office!
I called the Voorhies Ave office on 3 different days to make sure that they accept the insurance and even filled out all the insurance information when I scheduled the appointment online just to come to the office on the day of my appointment for them to tell me that they do not accept my insurance after I filled out all the paperwork. Now I see why they had so many appointments available, the doctors may be good, we wouldn't know! But the people working in the office do not know how to do their job!

Do NOT go to this doctor. I had nasal congestion for several months. I arrived early, and was told to "take a walk around the block." I did, and was eventually seen. The doctor never made a single appearance. A team of young assistants took me from room to room doing tests I hadn't asked for (hearing, etc.) before telling me I had a deviated septum, adenoids, and a gland problem.
I had a camera put up my nose without any sprayed anesthesia - and I later learned that using anesthesia is common practice. The tests brought one visit's copay to $50. I was given antibiotics and told not to take them - they were prescribed "only for insurance purposes." Before subjecting myself to the months of allergy tests, CAT scans, and surgery the assistants had recommended, I sought a second opinion. I do not have a deviated septum, or adenoids. I have an allergy, most likely from dust. Never, ever go to this doctor's office.

Worst Dr ever they just want to make money. Dr kantu forced me to do operation my nose, he was saying to me I will die where I'm sleeping. After my operation I'm not filling good, now I have headaches dryness throat, nose, mouth, I'm breathing a lot of air now, I have panic attacks because I can't control the air when lm breathing. Take second opinion from another Dr. if they said you need operation. I want to put 0 stars.

Friendly staff. An even friendlier Doctor. My first visit felt like I had known the doctor for years. He listened to my concerns and didn't jump to any conclusions before getting all the details. He was informative and personable and I felt very comfortable and confident with his medical advice. I look forward to my daughters next visit.

I had visited both clinics one in sheepshead and this one in bayridge I had a horrible experience as well with this clinic. the front desks are less unprofessional, but when you call they never answer and if they do they rudely talk to you and answer your questions. They need to hired more people are actually care about the patients. people that have motivation.
