This review is in regards to their booking practices for I left due to an hour and a half wait. First they received a referral from my doctor in October. By November when I had not heard anything I contacted them and they said they had seen my referral (yet did not contact me to set up an appointment?). They did kindly say they could get me in and I made an appointment.

Upon my arrival (ten minutes early) the waiting room was full and after waiting 30 minutes from my appointment time I asked how long the wait would be. i was told there were 3 patients in front of me and about 45-60 minutes more. If I showed up an hour and a half late they would have not even seen me. Please respect your patients time for I rearranged my schedule and took off work for two hrs to come in which I assumed a 30 minute wait.

If you are that far behind you need to contact patients and let them know so they can decide if they can still come in. The only positive is the receptionist was very friendly and understanding.

North DeKalb orthopedics is an amazing place to go if your suffering with back and joint issues. For many years I suffered with back pain that I would only describe as unbearable. I opted to have surgery performed by Dr. Doute. He is incredibly qualified and knowledgeable when it comes to spines. His education and experience genuinely can't be beat.

He is an incredibly forthright Doctor who tells it like it is. I genuinely respect his opinion. I am only a few weeks post op and I have to say I can already tell an amazing difference with my spine. There office staff is incredibly kind and courteous and they make scheduling appointments and surgeries a breeze. You can tell the nurses genuinely care for there patients and they all have a good sense of humor and are just nice people in general.

The ladies up front and the office manager are also top notch they are always so friendly when I come in. I would highly highly recommend this office if you are looking for qualified orthopedics who genuinely care about there patients.

Giving it two stars for the doctors, otherwise all below par: facility dirty, staff not friendly, phone menu doesn't allow conversations and msg not answered until late the next day AND had to remind them to schedule a procedure.
