Unfortunately, my family said goodbye to my grandmother last night in the parkview ICU. The nurses and staff were so kind and sympathetic to our whole family. They kept checking on us and made sure to make us all as comfortable as possible during a really tough goodbye. They were very patient while our family of 13 said our goodbyes. Thank you parkview.

I went to the emergency room to be seen on. Tuesday morning at 8am. The lobby was filled with people. Some sleeping on the floor. There was trash, and blood pressure cuffs every where. It was clear the patients and the lobby were being severely neglected. I left before being seen because it was clear I was not going to get the care I needed.

Wife just had back surgery asked if I was able to stay with her was told yes then the next shift of nurses everything was fine till almost 10:30pm then Nicky the new charge nurse decided I was not able to stay told me visiting was 8 to 8 and I had to leave told her I was told by earlier nurse I was able to stay read the Parkview rules says no overnight in semi private rooms witch my wife was not in.

I live about 30 miles out of Pueblo and had to figure out where to go. May be a little racist though my mother and father in law were here not to long ago had no problems on the same floor and in ICU my mother in law was aloud to stay with my father in law who are both white which I'm not. Whole time I'm the one helping my wife because every time the nurse was busy and only Nicky seemed to have a problem with me being here all other were very nice even offering me food and drink

I was just recently discharged from Parkview. I went for a total knee replacement. The surgeon was excellent. Dr. King has operated on both rotor cuffs on both shoulders. My day nurse Shantel was great. Very caring and always listened to my concerns. It seems like elective surgeries are on the uptick after the relax of covid rules. After surgery it took me about eight hours to get my room.

I had to wait in post op. I hadn't eaten since Tuesday evening and when food was brought to me it was cold. I also had to wait on the CNA's to use the bathroom and I mean anywhere for a half hour to 45 minutes. I find that unacceptable. I wasn't very pleased with the care I received.

I would put Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo Co in the negative integers if that were an option! ER grossly understaffed and floors filthy! My husband was in the ER for eight hours. Eighteen people were awaiting treatment in the waiting room-so an RN told me. When I mentioned how long he had been there, her response was some people have waited three days.

On no level is that remotely acceptable nor was that a compassionate, reassuring or appropriate response. I had hoped for better care on the floor. It was clean, at least. There was one CNA that gave my husband his dignity back. His name is Dante-low on the pay scale, I'm sure. The OT/PT people were very good. Parkview continues to build and compete with St. Mary Corwin when Parkview has dangerously low staff.

How does that make any sense? If there is another emergency incident, we will go to Centura and be transported up to Colorado Springs. Shame, shame on you for your less than humane (forget compassionate) care!

My wife had a migraine for several days with full body pain and uncontrolled movements. When she hadn't slept for three nights and the symptoms were getting worse I took her to the PW er department around 5am. Unfortunately I was unable to stay because I had to get our kids to school. After returning a hour later, my wife was in a room although she was still crying and vomiting.

She stated they gave her something for the nausea but it didn't work and the nurse was being short and saying rude remarks. Unfortunately I couldn't stay and had to leave before I could talk to anyone to pick-up my sick kiddo from school. She promised she would say something soon if things didn't change. A few hours later I get the call that she was getting discharged. Apon arrival my wife was waiting at the front door and clearing still experiencing the same symptoms, except for the migraine that went away after she begged them to give her the correct medication. Parkview main and PW ER have become the last choice for my family.

After the treatment she received 2 years ago at Parkview Main ER and the PW ER, my family will choose a different hospital in the future if needed. She'll probably receive a bill for their incompetence before a diagnosis.

-10/10. My wife has been in early labor since Easter. And they've just been giving us the run around since. We'll this is our 5th time here and now we've been waiting in the waiting room for a bed since 6pm. It's now almost 8 and no update. Mind you she was scheduled to be induced at 6pm. Their monitor looked like there was a few empty rooms, but not enough for her.

Originally we were supposed to be here at 12am last night but "I don't have any clean beds." Or " we've spoke to the board and everyone agrees tomorrow will be better" she's going on 41wks and they're making her first experience of mother hood absolutely terribly. I can understand being understaffed, but learn a schedule, stick to the schedule, and don't be rude to the residents. This place is absolutely disgusting. I don't care if I'm dying, I'd much rather drive myself to springs, than be here.

I would not allow my family to be taken to this facility. Around first part of April I tried to take my own life. Thanks to the Westcliffe Police Department I didn't make it that night. They saved my life. I have no remembrance of anything after falling and hitting the left side of my head and face which knocked me into. I woke up in a cold dark room.

I thought I had went to hell to be honest. I had to walk down a long hallway to find someone to answer my questions. Not much was said except I was in the mental ward. Spent 4 days there. Came home went right to work at calving season. I spent 8 days awake no sleep. Couldn't eat. Tried to go back anafter 40 minutes of waiting i walked out told them to take my bed.

Well that went way wrong. They were grabbing me screaming i wasn't going anywhere. Had this little Mexican security guard get in my face and that was not good with what was happening to me. She threatened me several times in the waiting room. I had to wait on a ride which was coming down icy Hardscrabble. She finally came over and said she was going to throw me out in 30 minutes.

It was ice and snowing. One young man who was security officer is the only one who asked her to leave me alone. He calmed me down. After leaving i went to OU MEDICAL CENTER in Oklahoma only to find i had a severe head trauma that was causing my brain to swell. I had a concussion that could have killed me. I hope to be able to get a good attorney to help me fight this. No one should ever be untreated or mistreated at a hospital they come to get help.it was a crazy showtime movie.

The doctors, nurses and cna's are amazing. My mom was admitted twice in one week. The care she received from the emergency room was awesome. Lots of communication from all who helped her. Once admitted the staff from the fifth floor were very caring and took excellent care of her. The second time she was admitted she was on the third floor. Again excellent care for my mom. I will not hesitate to take her there again should the need arise.

The only reason I am giving three stars is because the nurses and doctors are amazing. However their palliative care team and social workers are just horrible about any communication. Our Mother was admitted on December 6th for COVID, COVID pneumonia. From the time that she was admitted I requested over and over that we needed someone to go in and get a POA notarized and nothing I would call and leave voicemails for the social workers and never got a return call.

On December 20th our Mother was moved into ICU and I requested palliative care team call me so I can ensure my Mother's wishes were met. No calls. On December 22nd our mother had to be placed on the ventilator and still nothing from no one. Sadly on December 25th I was told that we would have to consider moving our mother to comfort care, still nothing from palliative care or social workers.

The early morning of December 26th she passed away. Please make sure before your loved one is admitted that they have their affairs in order because their palliative care and social workers are just not up to helping families get it taken care of.

Prior to December 2021 experiences at Parkview were great. Until my mother was treated by Dr. Chausser ICU Cardic floor. He was so unprofessional and arrogant! He needs to find another profession!

The people here are amazing! The best in pueblo, no one likes to be in the hospital but if you have to you want the nicest, happiest people to care for you. Thank you third floor nurses. Isabel, colby, Melissa, and all the staff from the food dept, transport, and even the valet. Thank you all

I called the Parkview ER to ask about protocol being my wife and I are positive for Covid 19, my wife was having complications and I wanted to know what we needed to do in order for my wife to be seen and not to jeopardize any patients health, the first er tech simply answered the phone as I started to ask a question she placed me on hold, the second er tech answered the line as I started to ask about the covid protocol the nurse states she is too busy and doesn't have time to answer any questions. Due to the horrible patient care at Parkview Medical we have to travel to Colorado Springs in order to feel safe about the medical care we may need.

I broke my leg, a severe tibial plateau fracture. I had two different surgeries and spent 2 weeks in the hospital and another 3 weeks in rehab! I want to thank second floor nurses- Shawnette(sp) and Jessica. They both were efficient, caring and gave me over the top care! Also thank you to Dr. Jamie Engel- a very impressive, patient and informative Doctor! Thanks again for my care!

A nurse told me i was just there for attention after a suicide attempt. They also let me know how generic and lame my note to my family was. How can someone be so evil?

Their rating says it all! The core staff are not the problem here, it's the physicians and management. Very poor treatment and care are practiced here. This hospital contributes to Pueblo being considered a bad place to live and invest. What a shame.

Brought in a friend with congestive heart failure. They got him right in they diagnosed him with in a half hour and he was to be admitted. He may have had to wait a bit to get a room on the cardio floor it was the next am before they could get one. The staff was polite and understanding of what was going on and treated him with respect and dignity.

If I could give a negative star review to Parkview on the whole, I would. The ER that violates HIPAA and gives patient's personal medical information to people who shouldn't have it. The adjoining Parkview Medical Center is full of disrespectful, neglectful doctors that are more than willing to take your money and refer you to THEIR physicians for misdiagnosed issues but are absolutely unwilling to treat you for real, debilitating issues you are actually suffering from.

I have never been more humiliated, insulted, and disregarded as a paying patient ANYWHERE other than this filthy, money grubbing enterprise. Unfortunately, the massive disregard and contempt that medical practitioners exhibit here at Parkview Medical Center has me choosing my debilitating pain over one more sickening visit with any of the "doctors" here.

Labor and delivery wonderful! I was worried because of the bad reviews but I LOVED my experience! Dr. Growney delivered my baby and he stayed hours past when he was supposed to leave! HE got me a cool, wet towel instead of just telling a nurse to. He acted not like he was a doctor and better than us. Instead, he joked with my husband between contractions and even showed us the placenta after(with the excitement of a child!) Everyone was so nice especially my nurse, Jen.

She was fully involved, encouraging me calmly and doing what I asked and suggesting things that might make me more comfortable in my complicated delivery. She encouraged my mom too, suggesting things that might help me. She supported me when I told the anesthesiologist that I didn't want much of an epidural and the anesthesiologist was kind, waiting for a contraction to pass before putting in the epidural.

In recovery when the nurse was going off duty and told me that her replacement would be in in half an hour to introduce herself, I asked if she could have the nurse wait an hour so that I could get some rest and she did.

My 94 year old Mom went into the ER after falling and hitting her head and fracturing her C2. The triage nurse Alanna was kind and treated my mom with dignity and respect. Kudos! Her main RN Alyssa took care of my mom as though she was taking care of her own mother. She was friendly and answered all my many questions. This was her first day in the renovated portion of the ER.

She was still finding her way but took the time to really take my mother under her wing. Thank you both for being wonderful human beings. Only one sour note was the Lady at the Valet who made us wait over a half an hour with my mom waiting in her wheel chair before she got our car. She put many people ahead of us when we had already given our ticket to her. My recommendation would be to replace her. She had a sour attitude. One STAR

I came through valet last week for my grandma in the hospital. When I used valet all the workers but one just looked at me and continued to do nothing. Only one younger gentleman helped me. I believed his name was kurt, but I just wanted to give a review to this gentleman in the valet because I've never had good experience unless he's working.

The valet employees are always so rude or don't care but this young gentleman was so helpful and kind. I went a second time and he was there and even remembered my name. I don't recommenced this service but there's at least one good person there.

Parkview hospital emergency room is worth taking anyone to. They take patients for the er through the hallways and expose everyone to everything, triage is severely mismanaged, my mother is a heart patient passing out left waiting Monday for more than 8 hours, no food or water and she is diabetic. She wad admitted and rushed out of the hospital to return to the er for the same thing less than 24 hours after discharge. She has sat for almost 7 hours now without seeing a doctor. This is the worst hospital ever.

Our son recently had emergency strangulated hernia surgery at Parkview; have never been treated so well and our son so wonderfully cared for. Parkview wins over the Denver hospitals by 100%. Thank you for saving our son Dr. Herzog.
