Used to be a very good group but something has happened there as the staff & doctors are leaving. Dr. Morrisroe, Charles Grayson & Jessica Brandt plus Shawn @ front desk ALL GONE. I'm no longer a patient there. Positive experiences with Dr M & also Chaz. Shawn always greeted me so pleasantly too.

In November 2021 I went to see Dr. McDonald about a rash around my lips, the first visit she came into the room barely looked at my lips and said use vaseline and if not better then come back, which I did, she was so rude she talked down to me the whole time. That reminded me of the way Dr. Anna treated me too. They are both so rude and will refer you to someone else at the drop of a hat.

I always felt like they were my 1st grade teachers, scolded every time I went in. I was charged my co-pay and insurance paid for the rudeness. Dr. McDonald never looked for what I had. It took less than 5 minutes for that visit. After I went back as my rash had not gone away or improved she was even more rude. They still charged my insurance company for that visit. I have since changed Doctors and hopefully she will be 100% better. DO NOT EVER GO TO HUDSONS BAY MEDICAL.

It always goes smoothly with Dr. Brandt. I honestly feel like she listens to me and cares about my wellbeing, vs. being another patient for her to check off.

Jessica Brandt is a great doctor. I'm super happy with how though she is with my care. She always makes sure she addresses all issues I have going on. She is a great doctor. I had sea mar before and I could not stand the care they gave. Nothing ever got addressed. I was always having to go to appointment after appointment to try and get things with my health adressed.

My very first appointment with Jessica brandt, she took care of all my concerns and made all the appropeiate refferals that needed to be made. She's just amazing. The staff at this clinic are outstanding. They are very kind and considerate. They treat you with respect and never make you feel like your not welcome in their office. I would definitely be telling friends and family because I think this is a great place to get quality care.

She just seemed to really care about me as a person and she was very easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable. I can't remember her assistants name but he had a cast on his left hand and he was awesome. Thanks for being great!

Very thankful to get a same day appointment. The dr. And his nursing staff were very friendly. Listened to my concerns, and ran tests to figure out what was going on. Very successful appointment, and I am very glad to be on my way to being healthy soon.

Staff is kind and listens to your needs and has been very helpful. The provider I see is Jessica Brandt and I am satisfied with the interactions I've had with Jessica. She seems to be concerned with the issues I bring up and has addressed each of them. Jessica is a pleasant and competent provider whom I enjoy seeing.

This was the first time I had seen Dr. Grayson and he was very polite and professional. He gave me reassurance I was doing well with the steps I took after my fall.

Ms Bryant NPR, She is so easy to talk to! He takes the time to listen to you! She has excellent bedside manner. Both my husband and I are glad that we found her to be our physician. She reacts fastly to any of our concerns which makes you feel that you're being taken care of. I believe that you would be happy you had her for a provider.

Avoid *** not worth Dying*** Listen carefully! Like you I searched reviews prior to selecting a doctor. At first look on google stated 4 stars. So I made my choice to go with Dr. Grayson and his fat girlfriend Angel. Sorry but the experience was horrific. So unlike most people I have come here to share my experience. Please avoid. First was the lack of empathy, lack of care.

It was more like a Mc Donalds line. Its a private entity so theyre referals are slow and misplaced. They just care about how many patients they can bill in one day.the vists where less than 5 minutes?. I have contacted the Medical Board to Pursue a In competant practice claim. Please trust this rating and avoid at all costs. God help you find a better choice. Also you will have no luck with cathy the manager they are all f*ing each other.so they have each others back. Just avoid them.

The Nurses and Staff are normally pretty affable, my biggest issue is with Dr. Grayson. He started out as a pretty friendly doctor, but over time he became dismissive, callous, and honestly seems more keen to ask me a set amount of questions and kick me out as fast as he can. Before I myself actually started getting attitude from him, I found out he was unavailable once, that he was on vacation, all I said was "Oh glad to see he is getting some time off, he deserves it!" and the woman on the phone began laughing hysterically, along with someone else behind her, when she she suddenly stops and goes "oh wait.were you serious?" and the person behind her loudly went "wait for real!? ooooookayyy.".

At first I was appalled, but afterwards I understood all too well. When I went in for a series of issues that were worrying me greatly at the time, he basically ignored everything I was asking and saying, just asking routine questions, and when I became irate with him and told him these issues were bringing me a great deal of stress, he accused me of 'cursing up a storm' and that he would immediately kick me out if I said anything more that he did not like. Afterwards I asked the person writing everything down exactly how many times I swore, and she sheepishly responded with "um.only twice.actually" before apologizing and scurrying out with her head down.

I had to go to the urgent care facility attached to here and re-ask everything I was concerned about, which i was told "these should be questions for your PCP" and when I explained the situation, and who my PCP was, suddenly the doctor seeing me was far more helpful and active in their assistance.which spoke volumes to me. This place isn't the best, but its not the worst either, but just be aware of this doctor, he is easily irritated, and not a favorite of the location I have been made aware by multiple staff.

She really listened to me and my concerns. After the visit, she asked if she addressed all my concerns too! Also, she didn't make me feel rushed, like she had to push me thru in 10 minutes. She took her time and seems more concerned about being thourough and caring for her patients than any doctors I've seen in A VERY long time! I wish more Doctors and Clinicians had her work ethics and Values. I highly recommend her! She's a great Doctor

So I accompanied my boyfriend here and while waiting the receptionist pulled her mask down and continued to not wear a mask and then started yelling at the phone because the patient wouldn't answer. Very lovely to listen to her yell with her co-worker as well.

I brought my brother in to see Dr. Ratan. My brother has Parkinson's disease and is wheelchair bound. When I received the reminder call she told me we both needed to wear masks. I was shocked when I arrived that some people in the lobby weren't wearing masks and the receptionist that checked us in was wearing her mask down below her mouth.

And she had the audacity to remind me to use the Purell. When my brother was brought back to the lobby, his mask was down around his neck. We've had several doctor's appointments at other facilities over the past several weeks and this is the only one who had no regard for our health. Both my brother and I are in the high risk group so this is very much appreciated. Find another medical group.

I think they do a great job. It is obviously that they care. From the staff at the desk to the assistants. I am so glad they take state insurance. I have not a good doctor in the last 4 years. You have to settle for less because no one that's good takes state insurance. Hudson's Bay Medical group go far beyond my expectations. My physician assist Charles Grayson is caring, kind, concerned, and makes you feel very comfortable. I give him 5 stars.

I have seen Dr. Charles Grayson for 4 years. He is a fantastic PA. However, in December I received a letter that they would no longer be providing care to me due to missed appointments. I called and they told me that I missed one six months ago, rescheduled one and missed my last. They did not call or leave a message that I had an appointment. Nor, did they give a "heads up" or warning that this was even an issue.

I completely understand protocols that they must follow, at the end of the day it is a business. I have called and called, to get in to see him before my 30 days is up to get a prescription refill and update my address but no-one has called me back. I am very disappointed with how they have handled this, especially with someone who has been a patient for 4 years.

I have never been treated so rudely in my life by the receptionist and the Dr. The staff kept asking how i felt about her and apologizing for her rude bedside manner. The fact that everyone in the office was cringing at the way Dr Mcdonald speaks to people is extremely problematic. I also got billed for my labs which should have been covered but nobody submitted my insurance so I spent two hours correcting this. Apparently, I needed a CT scan done only to find that out two weeks later - after my insurance had ended and it still is not done because they won't cover it now. Cigna told me had the Dr sent in the request expedited it would have all been covered.

Finding out I need a serious liver scan via my insurance two weeks late is not good care. The nurse or NP Dawn attempted to help me to no avail, but I cannot believe this is so called medical care.

Hudson Bay Medical has been our team of health professionals for the past nine years. We have our annual exams and routine visits with the podiatrist, Dr. Rutan. He is an exceptional doctor; very kind and compassionate. He did the surgery on my toenail which was painfully ingrown. The surgery was sooo much easier than the pedicures I was previously getting which were excruciatingly painful!

If you have ingrown toenails don't hesitate to have Dr. Rutan help you. You will be glad you did. I have always been treated with respect by the friendly staff and the woman who drew my blood was accurate, swift and painless. My husband and I both loved Dr. Morrisroe and appreciated his support and knowledge.

I am happy to be a patient at Hudson's Bay Medical. I have always been treated with respect. The caring Doctors and staff are all very professional. My family has been going there for many many years. When I need help I feel very positive the Doctor is going to help me. All of the doctors are easy to talk to and they explain my treatment so I understand.

My primary Doctor is Dr. Anna. She is wonderful kind and understanding and thorough This is the best medical practice in Vancouver. I was surprised by the other negative reviews. Never have we encountered any of these complaint topics.

I read the review below and it is not true about quality care at hudson bay currently. the practice was one of the best in vancouver. as the original dr.s died or retired, the doctors were replace with some of the worst i have ever seeen in my 80 yrs. i had dr. dygert until he passed away. he was the best physican i have ever seen in my entire life. after that it has been all down hill. whoever set up the new formatt at that clinic these days has set up a clinic with poor drs. who stay awhile and then move on or are " moved on". i think the latter.very poor med. practice, i was with dr. dygert for 45 yrs. and i would not say these neg.things if they were not true. that clinic needs to close before the bad doctors there kill someone. they have young -ish doctors who have no hypocratic oath in any part of their persons.very bad.

A LONG Hospital stay, gave me a referral to this place, and up the first appointment I had. The First doctor that I saw was fantastic, and easy to talk to. Shortly after that, he left the practice (with no further information). I was disappointed, but was willing to give another doctor a try, but was shocked that they set me up with a PA who has absolutely no idea what MS is, or how to treat it.

I was treated HORRIBLY, disrespected by the PA and receptionist. I wanted out of there. When I asked for a copy of my records, the RECEPTIONIST was ridiculously rude, and proceeded to tell me that it would cost around $40. They send a stenographer in with the doctors, which is extremely unprofessional. This establishment is the WORST medical office I've ever been to. They're the rudest people I've ever had to deal with. I strongly suggest that you not put yourself through the stress that these people will add to your life.

So far, so good. I am 70, moved to Vancouver, choose Dr. Jennifer McDonald as my primary. SHE ROCKS! Does she coddle me? NO, she is very very thorough, wants to get to the bottom of the problem. In the end, it's my responsibility to be pro-active about my health. I have a lot of issues and have found this practice to be extremely attentive. I believe the communication can cause so many hard feelings and hope that all the patients get the attention they need.

Give it a 1 because dr young was there. I have problems with thyroid cancer & hashimoto disease. While going thru all the other tests & doctors in the middle of the problems the financial person calls me & wants money.like @ $45, now $116. Thru all this I find out the lab in the Hudson's bay clinic had messed up on 2 of my blood tests! One thing is to fix it & admit it but to do that I have to drive 300 miles from Sisters Or. so they can retest me.

To top all this off they refused to make an appointment for me to see dr. Young, wanting money first. Then i get a letter telling me dr. Young is no longer with them. Now months later I get another letter telling me they can no longer be my clinician!? Dr. Young left a few months back so my meds were stopped and I had to find a new primary care doc & now this weird letter with his name still on it? Look, bottom line is dont go there! Lab messed up 2 different tests and they cannot get medication called in. Front office people are rude and gossip about the patients. DO NOT GO THERE!

After having the same doctor from the day I was born, I needed to find a new doctor upon turning 18. I switched to Hudsons Bay Medical Group because that's where my mom, and grandmother go. They made my transition from my pediatric doctor very smooth. Anytime I have had a question over the years I just call and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Ana is very knowledgeable and honest (meaning she tells me what I need to hear vs what I want to hear).

I have never had an issue with scheduling appointments. In fact, when I needed an emergency appointment and my doctor wasn't available they allowed me to see the first doctor available. I've never had to schedule more than two weeks out and they are really understanding when it comes to having to reschedule. Overall I have had nothing but positive and professional experiences at HBMG!

I just wrote a 3 paragraph review and lost it- so this is the short version. -They do not get prescriptions sent to the right pharmacy's 90% of the time. -The nurse of Dr. Ana (Audrey) is hopeless at helping. She really is. She literally laughed when I was explaining a painful situation and I said, you know, it's not even funny. and then she realized her inappropriateness. she just doesn't get it.

She also does NOT RETURN phone calls which is just unacceptable. I left 3 messages over 3 days (bc the message says don't call back in the same day, they will call you) and when she didn't I finally just drove in! not ok. -I ultimately felt unimportant and like a nuisance to this office. I have found a new office and Doctor and hope for better care.

I hate to give them a 1 because my former Dr. Young is a good doctor as was his MA. Ditto for my mom and her Dr. Morrisroe and MA combo. Except right now, the inability or unwillingness for them to call their patients and make plans for the best care going forward is unprofessional and really violates the patient-physician relationship. So here is how the story goes: Unfortunately, we've apparently had ongoing problems with the receptionists.

Although this was never mentioned. One day, last week I did have a snarky encounter with Kristy one of their receptionists. It was regarding a billing issue. Regardless, she was loud and rude and I responded in kind. I'm not proud of it. But, apparently that kind of behavior gets the receptions a boost and the customer the boot. Returning home from the weekend my mom and I both received letters dropping us as customers.

Only providing urgent and emergent care and only 30 days to find and become established with new doctors. It's next to impossible to find and establish yourself with a new doctor. When my last doctor left Hudson's Bay, it took more like 90-120 and I was already established with Hudson's Bay! You have to make a new patient appoint, etc.

The bottom line for me is that the doctor-patient relationship should remain. I think that the doctor shouldn't hide behind an Administrator and not discuss the situation with the patient. The AMA guideline talks nothing about an administrator it talks over and over and over about the doctor-patient relationship.

This medical group was assigned to me by my insurance. I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. I swear they have been trained to be rude to people. Thankfully I am changing insurance and will never have to deal with these rude and unprofessional people again.

Absolutely the worst medical experience I have had. I have lived all over the country and, unfortunately, been to many doctors and I have to say that Dr. McDonald was the worst. First, I had to wait for over 45 minutes while walk-ins were seen before me. Once I finally got in the back the MA who took my vitals was not at all pleasant, not rude, just acted as if she would rather be anywhere but there.

Finally Dr McDonald comes in, 1.25 minutes past my scheduled apt time, and says and I quote, "Let's get this straight, are you here for your back pain or all that other stuff you told my assistant. I don't have time to address all of your concerns today"?! Needless to say, I will NEVER return to Hudson's Bay Medical Group and I would not advise Anyone else to attempt to receive medical care here.
