Services
Audiology evaluations consist of a series of tests used to determine whether a hearing loss exists and, if so, measure its type, degree and configuration. An audiologist will assess the results of each individual test in order to develop a treatment plan geared toward your unique hearing loss. An audiology (or hearing) evaluation can benefit patients of all ages, even those who do not exhibit signs of hearing loss.
Background sound is a constant in our busy lives. Normally, background noises are at safe levels that won't impact our hearing, but repeated exposure to noise above 85 decibels (dL) can cause hearing loss. Noise induced hearing loss, as a matter of fact, is the second most common form of hearing loss (ranking behind presbycusis, hearing loss related to normal aging), and is the most preventable type.
Hearing aids are designed for all types of hearing loss, lifestyles and budgets. We work with manufacturers to provide you with a custom, first-rate solution for your hearing loss. Implantable devices work differently than a hearing aid. They are designed for those with profound hearing loss who cannot be helped with a traditional aid.
Newborn hearing loss is very difficult to detect, which is why many cases go undiagnosed until the child reaches talking age. Often, the only way to identify and treat a hearing loss problem when it truly counts is to take your baby to an audiologist for an infant hearing screening. Nearly three of every one thousand babies are born with some form of hearing loss.

Dr. Vicki is the best! I have been going to MTHS for several years now, and I love the customer service and all the doctors that have attended to me. Not just for hearing solutions, but also for anything else that may go on with my ears and hearing but nose and throat issues as well. Not difficult to get an appointment or last minute appointment if needed.
