Fresh blood on the floor in our waiting stall in triage. There for 8+ hours and didn't even get to see a Doctor. Worst of all, they prepped my toddler for surgery when she did not need surgery. I will avoid at all costs in the future.

Would give zero stars if I could. Consistently lied to myself and members of my family about my treatment and status of my injury. Consistently left screaming for help from 40mins to 1.5hrs almost every night. Some of the nurses are excellent, it's a shame they have to work in this extremely unprofessional. Hung up on the pharmacy after repeated attempts to reach a doctor who incorrectly filled out my prescriptions. Will be opening a lawsuit shortly. Do not receive emergency or surgical care here, you'd be better off at a Soviet war camp.

We had a lot of issues with the hospital giving my wife pills before consulting with us. They were trying to give her things they found on her history that she had stopped taking months before. We had to give them specific instructions NOT to give her ANYTHING without consulting us first. Her attending nurses were very good to her.

Terrible care of elderly patients and 100% money driven! My mother has been there for a week and they never got her out of bed to walk everyday which she needs given she is already on a walker from a prior stroke and broken hips. And now that she has not moved for a week they're sending her to a rehab center to help get her moving! Had they been getting her up a couple of times a day to walk, rehab would not be necessary!

And PT was to come and work with her in the hospital but they came one time when she was out for a test and they never came back, though everyday we were told they would be here today! And today they call me to get approval to put her into a rehab center? Why are they calling me when she is coherent, I am not her POA, she does not have dementia or Alzheimer's and is capable of making her own decisions.

I told them to go to her room and have a conversation with her! They also waited days to put her in a hospital gown in lieu of the pajamas she had on when she came in through the ER. It's obvious it's all about the money and keeping the patient in the hospital as long as possible and not about the well being of the patient. They are trying to get every dime out of Medicare and insurance that they can.

They run tests that seem to be completely unnecessary all just to keep them in there as long as they can as inpatient when the tests could be done outpatient. They are taking advantage of the elderly. When will Medicare and the insurance companies start auditing these medical records and reach out to patients to verify the treatment they are getting, or more accurately the lack of treatment! Only then will this blatant abuse be rectified.

In the northern Martin and Southeastern St. Lucie counties, Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital is the best hospital and medical center in this area. Once again, unfortunately, I am admitted to a hospital. Having, as a patient, been in the ER and/or admitted to 10+ Hospitals/Medical Centers in the past 5 years, I write this review with a lot of experiences.

The fairly recent changes, updates, modifications and noticeable policy and staff updates which accompanied the Cleveland Clinic (franchise? Not nor a branch of the actual Cleveland Clinic in Ohio) change over have made a noticeable improvement. In this case I came to the ER and was promptly screened and brought into the actual ER with a reasonably short wait once the initial screening.

By that point I had already had a scan, C-ray, brief screen by the attending ER Doctor. Once brought back the efficient assessments, Doctor evaluation and meeting with discussion, and determination to admit and beginning of treatment was very efficient. The experience here has by a good lead better than any of the other local hospitals, all of which I have been in and/or had direct experience with.

The staff is very attentive, positive, focused, and most importantly listen to and discuss with you what has, is and optionally could happen with you. Even the food and what they call room service is good. If you have to go to the hospital for a specific purpose or end up in the hospital ER and then admitted, Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital is the recommended place to go, or at least include in your evaluation.

I did not have such a great experience years ago, prior to the Cleveland Clinic changes, so if you had a similar experience don't rule them out here. The only reason that I gave a four as opposed to a five is that there seems to be some money saving ideas which have lessened the overall experience but not the actual medical practitioners who seemingly are doing a great job.

As if Martin Memorial Health System was bad enough since Cleveland Clinic bought them out this company was able to break the bottom of the barrel out and dig deeper. The absolute worst hospital system I have ever had to endure. Broken beds, dirty rooms, disenchanted staff due to being overworked and mistreated by this company. Do not look for health care here, you will not get it. If you can find a different hospital to go to that is not owned by Cleveland Clinic, run to it. I mean run as fast as you can.

My grandfather just had surgery at this hospital. I've been a nurse for 7 years and now a nurse practitioner and I am so disappointed to hear about the lack of care and service my grandfather received from this hospital. He did not receive anything to eat for 18 hours after his surgery, not even liquid, clear or soft diet, nothing. He had to call his wife at home to bring him soup.

When asked why he did not receive any food the nurse told him that there was a paper on the table in his room for him to order food. He was told that he could not get out of bed and the table was no where near him and no one ever explained to him to order food on his own either. I worked with many post-op patients before on the floor and I always made sure my patients had their food order in even if that meant me staying in the room and ordering it for them.

My grandfather requested pain medicine which was not brought to him until 1.5 hours later. He also was never provided compression device stockings until his wife came to the hospital and put them on him herself. It breaks my heart to hear my grandfather tell me that if it wasn't for his wife, he would have died in that hospital. Shame on you guys. This makes me so ashamed to identify as a medical professional.

Horrible experience, Emergency Room. My wife was sent there after her orthopedic surgeon told her she needed to go because she might have had a blood clot in her calf. We went around 3:15 pm and didn't leave until 9:45 PM. Most of the time we spent was waiting for a test to be done, and the lack of communication and the lack of bed side manner was the worst.

We were treated as if she was there for a cold, but in reality it was a serious matter that could've turned out to worse than it was. DO NOT RECOMMEND going UNLESS its a life or death emergency and even then i would go to a different location.

I have been on hold for over twenty minutes to renew a script, at which time I spoke to someone who was so inept that she was unable to help me and I had to be transferred to another nurse which took more time. Prior to Cleveland Clinic moving to Stuart I used their facility in West Palm and Weston for various procedures and was never disappointed in their service but since their move it as though I am dealing with a totally different entity.

The wait times for appointments or calls for refills are so long that if there was any other Medical provider in our area I would willing do so, but since they are purchasing every practice in town this is becoming increasingly difficult. Having only one Medical provider in our area has allowed C.C. to let their standards fall to a totally unacceptable level, their reputation is terrible here, both among patients and Dr.'s. but the allure of money seems to out rule the need to provide the type of medical care that the clinic was so well known for previously.

Terrible experience. My grandmother is in the hospital for Severe Heart Failure- not the virus They only allow 1 guest per day due to their policy. They are not testing any of the guests prior. My aunt was there all day with my grandma who was very uncomfortable. She was crying and in so much pain. She requested my mother who is the oldest of her 10 kids to be there.

My mom left work early to come to her aide. The nurse recognized that she was different than who was there all day. The nurse told her she was calling security to escort her out. My mom said that she wanted to talk to her mom and comfort her the best she could. The nurse then said she needed to PUNISH THEM bc they broke the rules. And kicked them both out @4pm before the 8pm cut off time.

What rules? Because of 1 person per day that are not even being tested prior? My grandmother is suffering miserably and only wanted her kids to comfort her! We are so hurt and outraged as a family! This nurse needs to be fired or to NOT WORK IN HEALTHCARE! Just wondering how she sleeps at night? Is she going to hold my grandma's hand as she struggles to breathe or just clock out for the day and go home?
