Jessica the radiologist was amazing! She was so kind and understanding and kept me updated through the whole process. The receptionist was also very sweet and helpful. Look past the older building that could use a refresh and focus on the amazing staff. I would have given a five star rating if the office space had been a bit more updated.

It's not often I have the time to review a business. but since I just took off of work early to drive to Valley Radiology at 4:30 (since their website said they are open till 5:00pm) my doctor referred me here for an urgent xray of a possible torn rotator cuff or shoulder dislocation. No appointment necessary according to my doctor. unfortunately, the receptionist just explained very matter of factly that that normally would be fine but their xray tech leaves at 4 or 4:15. "So, you can't just come here after work".
Just a suggestion. PUT THAT ON YOUR WEBSITE! THAT'S WHAT WEBSITES ARE FOR! Thanks for costing me a half day's work and leaving me to suffer all weekend wondering if I'm causing more damage to my shoulder. Your clients are people who are sometimes in pain. Maybe just a little compassion in your receptionists voice would go a long way.

I had an open MRI done today at this location. The reception staff were wonderfully friendly and efficient. After a brief wait, Vince, the MRI tech, came and got me for my scan. Vince was professional and supportive in performing my MRI scan. He called out how much time remained in my scan. It's nice that they have a window to focus on during the scan, as I am claustrophobic.
This would have been a five star review but the building they are in is an old medical office building with old furniture in their waiting rooms. So: 5 star service in a 3 star building = 4 stars.

I have had good experiences here over the past several years with mammograms and routine xrays but had never had an MRI there until recently and that experience was unpleasant. I was told to arrive at 6 am for a 6:30 am procedure. I arrived on time but found the front door locked with no intercom to ask for door to be opened. When the business number was called, one is told to call back after 8:00 am.
After 20 minutes I was prepared to leave but the door clicked open at 6:20 am. When I questioned the clerk all she said was it should have opened sooner. The MRI room was very cold but when I asked for a blanket I was told there were none available. The technician agreed it was cold and said she was wearing two jackets. I had shaking chills the entire exam and feared the exam would not give satisfactory results.
The MRI machine stopped working during the exam so I had to reschedule two days later. My appointment was at 7:15 pm so was told to be there at 7 pm as I had filled out the paperwork already. I received a voice mail verifying the time. When I arrived I was told that I missed my appointment at 6:30 pm. The clerk would not listen to me when I repeatedly told her and the tech that my appointment was at 7:15 and bth kept saying they never schedule exams for that time.
Unfortunately my phone had fallen from my purse so I could not play the voice mail for them and insisted I reschedule for the next day. The third time I came into for appointment was the charm, The clerk was very friendly and apologized for my experiences. I brought a blanket with me so was not cold that day. The exam went without problems and I was out the door within 30 minutes.

I was nervous because I was about to get a biopsy done. Lexi, a medical assistant, and Dr. Darcy were comforting and informative of the procedure. Dr. Darcy was extremely gentle and the procedure went amazingly painless then what I expected. This was for a 2nd. Biopsy, the 1st one was a lil more painful and this 2nd one was a "core" sample that sounded like it should been more painful. My experience here is one I would recommend if they need skillful Doctor.

I have never been hurt so badly, while a tech attempted to find my vein, and then, only to find his attempt was unsuccessful. I was suppose to get a CT Scan with contrast. This requires an IV. After his first PAINFUL attempt to find my vein, he moves to my other arm.then asks the other tech if he can help find my vein. Now I'm wondering, am I in the hands of a trainee?
I got up off the CT table and left, without getting the procedure. Normally, I wouldn't have left, however, I have had so many previous poor experiences with this outfit, I just don't have confidence in them as a medical facility.

Supposedly had a 1 p.m. appointment for an x-ray. When I arrive, I the n find out that x-rays are on a walk in basis. On top of that the machine was down when I arrived and they did not inform me. All in, I sat on the waiting room for almost 2 hours. Completely ridiculous. The keystone cops of radiology.

Bad experience. They change their X-ray walk in hours daily without updating their website so I was turned away the first time I showed up to the Poway location. When I walked in the second time to Escondido they said the wait was 1.5 hours. It's been over 3 hours and I am still waiting. They keep giving inaccurate estimates of how long it will take. If you have to use them, call ahead to find out if they are taking appointments and prepare to take a lot of time off work.

Shar, the person taking appointments and rescheduling was very rude, unproffesional, short tempered and just an absolute pain to work with. If you dont like ur job just quit. It really sucks for this company because the person who you get the first impression of them is her. I would not have someone with that attitude working in my company. Couldnt make my appointments and had to reschedule, my doctor told me to try to get in as soon as possible, their next appointment isnt till the 26th.
I ask around if there is any other appts in other locations she flips out and says I already told you no there isnt any othet appts. Looses her cool, tells me to call back when I come back from Vacation. Now in a normal world, a receptionist would give you the option to make an appt at that time, for when you come back from vacation. And schedule it now.
Because by the time you come back from vacation the appt will probably be out anothet month. The complete disregard and lack of empathy from Shar is pathetic and definitely wont be going to this location. It felt like she was just done with the conversation and just wanted to get off the phone and I was wasting her time.

The administrative persons here were rude. I was early for my appointment and they insisted I was late. I waited over an hour. It appeared they were likely saying I was late, because they were backed up and were hoping I would reschedule. The radiologist was apologetic. I paid at the time of service as demanded, and then received a bill stating the full amount was due TODAY. I owed nothing and had to waste more time fighting a bill that was already paid.

These guys are awful. I called first week in February. Could not get thru. During the coarse of the week and left two messages. Finally on Thursday got thru and cannot get into have a mri until the 17th almost two weeks away. I have a pretty good chance ofPancreatic cancer and time is if the essence. I am in a lot of pain. What an awful awful Place.

I am a Medi-Cal patient that was referred to them by my PCP. I received a bill with the full amount of the procedure and nothing billed on insurance. I tried calling them and their billing department with very long wait time couple of times today, and the call just keeps dropping. I would not recommend this location at all if you want to save yourself from any stress.

It's 7:30 pm & So thankful they accommodate appointments for people that can not come during regular business hours because that thing called" WORK"! Lol The second shift crew are such awesome bunch! Friendly, courteous and understanding- I wasn't too crazy about my MRI but they made it a comfortable & positive experience.

They certainly deserve less than one (1) star but one is the lowest possible score. I've had nothing but repeated problems with this facility. The schedulers give conflicting and erroneous information on a regular basis. The managers are less than understanding or accommodating when I try to point out the flaws and errors with their employees. I was told that x-rays are on a walk in basis only, no appointment.
I showed up and was told this type of xray required an appointment. Wasted a 3rd of my day taking off of work before finding that out - with no pay. This happens frequently - where I get conflicting or incorrect information from the schedulers.and speaking with the Manager as I did today did little to nothing. I was on disconnected twice and bounced around several times the 3rd time I tried to call back. Highly unprofessional! Would not recommend this facility to my worse enemy
