Very Poor experience with Dr. Valenzuela. She needs to be coached on how to conduct herself with patients. In addition there needs to be a change with how Eye Associates over books patients as an appointment at 3:30 pm which has extended itself to 6:11 pm thus far and still have not been treated is completely and utterly unacceptable.

My last eye exam, elsewhere, was comprehensive. done by an experienced Doctor of Optometry, and took about 40 minutes, in one sitting. The smoothly oiled money machine I experienced for an exam at Eye Associates started late and used three different practitioners with 10-15 minute wait times between each one. Like going to MacDonalds and they give you a bun and 20 minutes later some fries, and 10 minutes after that a burger.
The last person I saw at EA was finally a doctor, who had someone transcribe many mysteriously unexplained numbers. The refraction, which they charge extra for, was not done by him.

I went for an evaluation of the need for cataract surgery. It was very professional, efficient and thorough. The people all were friendly and helpful. the Doctor was excellent in describing the surgery and answering all my questions. All in all, a VERY POSITIVE experience. I recommend Eye Assoicates of NM highly

I was needing an eye doctor due to last week experiencing that I was driving and seeing the road median and the white lane seems merging, I have an appointment with my favorite eye doctor, but later of the month, so I thought that I should check the old eye clinic that I go the the Eye Clinic beside Lens Crafter, I was very happy to get an appointment, Friday 3/18.
So I arrived to the clinic earlier to find out that my appointment was with this Eye clinic that is not part of Lens Crafter. I didn't know how did it happen. While I was on the way I called the number on the text message sent to me by one of the Employee of the NM Eye Associates, in the call you have to go through the options and que, first I call to inform I am on the way, but the call was hang up, then I dial again I was place on the 4th of the call waiting.
When I finally got the answer my time of appointment lapse. I was so upset of their system. I went there 2012, but did not came back due to the insurance, but I am already unsatisfied how the system works, I tried again when the pandemic start to relax, but they required so many things. This appointment is accidentally gone through to their clinic not knowing what happened.
Like other said they are very nice. I was trying to see how considerate they are, but they aren't, grateful that my appointment fell through because for some reason that it was an accident appointment with them, second you can't op out with one of their requirements while the other clinic you can. My eyesight maybe compromised, but I don't regret how inconsiderate they are.
I am not saying this out of my frustration, I am saying this for the fact that for the second time they are very inconsiderate. Grateful to know and never going back to that clinic. If not for accident it probably not happened to step on that clinic this time. Just sad to know you can't count on them for your eye care and wellness.

Have been going to Eye Assoc. for many, many years. Great care, however getting an appointment or treatment scheduled is delayed for months. This is unacceptable when one's sight is compromised. Doctors and technicians are organized and skilled, but have no time for a decent, or a caring bedside manner. However Doctors performing routine visits for exams, contacts or glasses have much better bedside manners and seem to care.
