I like others here was also silcened and removed from the Facebook page for no reason whatever. The only input I ever had into that community was to like and encourage other pateints results. I have asked to rejoin as I am a genuinely a perspective client who is legitimately saving and researching surgeons, but have been ignored. Similar to others I have spoke with, first impressions appear very poor and based on my experience so far I would not choose this company to have surgery with. It is unfortunate for Dr Bednar that he has questionable staff turning potential patients away unjustifiably.

I am going to second Run A and say Sylvia kicks people out of the group for no good reason. I asked a question in the group and when I didn't hear back from Sylvia I emailed the same question. The nurse who answered me was very nice and addressed my concerns, so that shows that it wasn't offensive at all. When I realized that I was kicked out of the group I emailed the office and even they said it didn't make sense as I didn't ask anything against the rules, I was just trying to get information.
She was just offended that I was considering going to another doctor for a different fat transfer procedure and kicked me out even though I had put down my deposit and was committed to the surgery. And no, I didn't name or promote any other doctor. Sylvia won't tolerate anything less than a cult mentality.

Really shocked to see his Yelp rating isn't higher but I suppose a lot of people don't need to come on here to leave reviews for him since his reputation precedes him on all other relevant platforms. On Facebook or Reddit where you can see from REAL people with established profiles that date way back--so many people will vouch for him and his work. Unfortunately, I was NOT able to get a procedure with him due to some terrible unforeseen circumstances that made it so that this was no longer an option for me. However, my experience with him and everything I have seen the last couple of months while planning for this procedure (before things changed) leave me with no doubt in my mind that Dr. Bednar is THE BEST option for ANYONE who is seeking to find a way to augment their breasts without risking an autoimmune disease by going the implant route.
Not only is his work PHENOMENAL and UNMATCHED in an area that is NOTORIOUSLY difficult for plastic surgeons since the outcome depends SO heavily on things that are out of their control (such as what patients do to retain the fat during the post-op period)--but everyone in his office incouding his wife, Sylvia, have been extremely responsive, kind, and caring.
The things I have seen mentioned about them from other patients of his in other cosmetic surgery groups I'm in also show how much he truly cares about his patients. It extends way beyond just the normal level of patient care. I've worked for a plastic surgeon before and I know what great bedside manner looks like and I know when I come across a doctor that sees their patients as people instead of just as patients. Dr. Bednar is one of those doctors who really cares about his patients and sees them as people.
I also challenge anyone who is on here on Yelp to really do your research on him and other doctors who offer this procedure and really see who does the best work. Something to watch out for btw is that SO many doctors will show fat transfer results by around the 4 week mark which is EXTREMELY deceptive since a lot of the fat loss happens up until the 3 month mark--if not longer. I've seen a place in California that was FAMOUS for doing fat transfer to the breast procedures and their results look AMAZING online but EVERYTHING on their social media page are of patients that had their post-op photos taken around week 4.
When I tracked down the patients to look at their results later--I could tell they had lost almost ALL of it and their real "AFTER" photos were VERY different from what they shared on their IG page. A lot of other doctors also only show 1 or 2 exceptional results they got but nobody I've been able to find has as many consistently great before/after results with post-op photos taken after three months the way I've seen with Dr. Bednar. Btw--a little bit about me--I know how to do research on this subject because I worked for a plastic surgeon before and I also wrote a couple Wikipedia articles (that were approved by the Wikipedia community and not taken down right away which is EXTREMELY difficult to do) on different procedures.

Patrice was amazing (Coordinator). She called me and explained and answered every small question I had. She had me laughing and smiling the entire call. What I loved was she wasn't pushing me to schedule a consultation and was extremely knowledgeable on the different procedures! She made sure I felt comfortable and told me she would follow up.

Dr. Bednar is the most artistic plastic surgeon out there. I never thought I would able to feel like woman again after having my implants removed. 38 years old, 4 kids 5 prior breast surgeries. I was explanted in 2018 by an amazing surgeon who removed my implants enbloc and gave me an amazing lift to bring back my overstretched skin and areola to my original size which was 32AA before implants.
I had 4 sets of implants over the 17 years ranging from 2001-2018 350cc - 800cc being so tiny and starting out with nothing I was left concaved and pretty flat. I asked around and was told I was too skinny and there wouldn't be enough fat to make a difference and it could take multiple transfers. I gave up, and one day out of nowhere I just started searching on Realself and came across Dr. Bednar and a few more surgeons.
I added myself through his FB group and after a week or so and a couple of consults with him and the others close to me I chose Dr. Bednar. I flew all the way to the East side for him! He specializes in fat transfers for thin patients or seems like and his retention is amazing! If you are on the fence just do your self a favor and get a consult he is soo meticulous the way he scuplts, my butt even looks better from his sculpting and removing the fat around it!
Fat transfer to face review: I went ahead and went forward with the partial fat transfer to the face at the same time as my breast. I had never given it a thought cause in my mind I still thought I was young lol. But after four kids and ranging from 22-5 I think I've aged a ton lol many sleepless nights shared with a four year old and hormonal teenagers, I felt like I needed a pick me up.
Along with trolling this page and watching Dr. Bednar's YouTube video on fat transfer to face and his stem cell reasearch through all the years I knew that he was the one that I would trust to work on my face! I was mostly concerned about my cheeks and how the looked hollow due to having two of my molars removed, I guess it causes your cheeks to droop and with aging the collagen was getting less and less.
I figured that this is the best route to go since it's it's my own fat cells. I am getting dental implants here in a few months and I'm going that will also correct the concave on that side of my face. Dr. Bednar basically did my whole lower half of my face which included under eye troughs, (wow, my favorite) my cheeks, nasolabial folds and jaw 18.5cc total. I couldn't be happier. I'm fine if the fat stays this way! All my clients have been saying I look more rested and my face looks most glowy and full. Soo happy.

Dr. Bednar is an artist - literally. He does amazing work. I don't regret one second choosing him as my surgeon. I could not be any happier with my results! If your looking for an outstanding physician and practice look no further. Dr. Bednar is highly experienced in fat transfers and has performed them for over 8 years. I am a current patient of his and had the procedure almost 8 years ago. I couldn't be more pleased with my outcome! Dr. Bednar is a highly skilled surgeon, an artist in is spare time.

I had a wonderful experience and outcome with Dr Bednar and his team. He is genuine, humble and caring while delivering amazing results. There's a reason why he is a world leader in performing fat transfer to the breast. My donor liposuction results have been flawless, and my breasts have not lost any volume or fullness. I went to Dr, Bednar for a consult on fillers and skin tightening. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable he was. He explains everything in detail and has a very good demeanor. He shared why he does certain fillers and different options that would be best for my face based on my age and concerns. I do a lot or research on my own so I love learning about new treatments that actually work and last.
I ended up getting a filler during my consult and I'm glad I did. I am very happy with the results. I highly recommend him to anyone. It's rare you find a really good doctor you can trust and feel comfortable with. His staff was also very friendly and attentive to my needs.

There are not enough words to describe how AMAZING Dr. Bednar and his team are! I had fat transfer to breast after taking my breast implants out and his skills are BAR NONE far better than I ever imagined. He truly is a master at sculpting, he takes the time to listen to your wants and needs, he has a deep passion for creating a masterpiece with his work, and my results are AMAZING. I highly recommend him!
