Legitimate low reviews are being removed. I gave them one star for sending an unpaid balance to collections without notifying us. We had no idea money was owed. Come to find out they had the wrong address on file. Since my first review was removed, I am reposting this. The front office staff was incompetent. I suggest going someplace else to avoid a similar experience.

Dr. Machado is a fantastic doctor, surgeon, and person. I went to her years ago with tremendous fears and a thousand questions. She has listened to everything from then to now and given me straight-forward answers, told me things I didn't now to ask, and works with me and my limits. She dosen't do "canned" responses. The nursing and office staff are so kind and understanding too.

Dr. Machado was great! I was afraid of having surgery but knew that I had to do something to improve my health, she was very reassuring before and after the surgery. I would recommend her to anyone contemplating bariatric surgery. Had my gastric bypass in 2014 and always look forward to seeing Dr. Machado for my yearly follow-ups.

Dr. Laura L. Machado is the best of the best! I would highly recommend her and the Sacramento Bariatric Medical Team. I was also very impressed with the staff at San Juan Mercy Hospital. I was in a private room and they made my stay very pleasant. Simply follow Dr. Machado's instructions and you will be very happy with the results, like I am.

I have lost 170 plus pounds and have been maintaining that loss with great success this past year! I have talked to many other Bariatric surgery patients and I have not found a single one that has gotten the incredible after surgery support that I have gotten through Doctor Machado and her team! The surgery was a great choice, picking Dr. Machado was the best decision of my life!

Dr. Machado is absolutely amazing! She has a wonderful bedside manner and is super straightforward. The best part is she explains everything and takes pride in her process. My husband couldn't get over how thorough she was with him after my surgery. I was sleeved on 6/20 with a sizeable hiatal hernia repair and will be going home today.
