Your imaging exam was interpreted by a board-certified physician with training in Diagnostic/Interventional Radiology. This training represents 10 years or more of post-graduate education and many more years of clinical practice experience. You are receiving a bill from Radiology Associates, L.L.C. because a medical imaging exam was performed at the request of your physician.
I enjoy the intellectual challenge of evaluating, diagnosing, and often treating a wide variety of disease processes. Interventional Radiology provides ample opportunities to perform hands-on procedures, thus enabling the practitioner to take a more active role in patient management and outcome. Uterine Fibroid Embolization has developed into an excellent alternative to hysterectomy in women with symptomatic uterine fibroids.

Digital Radiography and Fluoroscopy Digital Radiography (x-rays) use a small amount of ionizing radiation to produce images of bones and tissue without requiring actual film. X-rays are useful for examining lungs and bone. Fluoroscopy is a type of x-ray imaging used to provide moving images that can be viewed via closed-circuit television monitor.

Jonathan Malone was wonderful, heeded my concerns and advice for a second attempt CT guided lung biopsy, which was successful in retrieving a sample of the malignant tumor after a month long delay of cancer diagnosis and subsequent delay of treatment due to miscommunication between myself and a prior radiologist/oncologist conversation. Had we not been adamant about trying again, she would've had to undergo a risky surgery to get the biopsy sample.
