It's so special to be a part of such wonderful times in my patients' lives when I delivered their babies. I've been blessed to have a career where my patients and I have grown up together. I took care of so many of them as teenagers and young women, then I helped them as they had growing families. Now we share stories about their grandchildren.

Please be advised that though they are highly recommended and might do a good job, they do not take pregnancies over 6 months. So if you move, change jobs, good luck with them. If one doctor says no, then the group says no. We spoke with the receptionist that also went and spoke with doctor Erin Saucier and she said no, they won't take the patient. It doesn't matter if you have had a healthy term with no complications. The real reason was not explained it was just we don't take over 6 months.

Dr Saucier is a horrible excuse for a dr. She has like zero bedside manner and is very quick to blow off any concerns you have about your body or your pregnancy. Also very surgery happy too. Most of her previous patients that I've talked to all said that she had come up with some type of reason for them to have a C-section. Some went with it and others got a second ultrasound opinion and we're told otherwise. I've heard plenty of great things about the other drs in this practice but stay away from Dr Saucier.

Most of the nurses were absolutely sweet. The woman who did my blood work was amazing funny and relatable. But Dr. Val Gallas and his favorite nurse yelling at me for crying after being told potential devastating news was the straw that broke the camels back. there's no reason why the nurses had to cheer me up after the doctor and his older nurse went ballistic on me. rude receptionists, (a certain lady looked at me like I was the issue) rude billing office (the older lady kept giving us mixed signals and signs about if I would be able to see a doctor), rude doctors (see above story.) they always try to find something wrong and don't listen to you when you talk about what you know to be right about your body. i'd rather go to Mobile Infirmary than here. a joke.

I really like Dr. H. Rogers, but the wait time is ridiculous. 90 minutes. Only at a women's clinic. Men would never stand for it. I'm looking for a change because I don't have that kind of time to waste. There's no excuse for the extremely long wait. She's the only doctor I have to wait so long to see, and apparently the other doctors here are the same.

Love love love my doctor! Dr Max is amazing and the only reason I wait. The reception area needs to ne updated. I have watched multiple people walk in to check-in amd there is no clear marked check-in spot except a tiny placard way above eye level. Not one receptionist was assisting directing where to go, make it easier to see and no one has to. Remember a lot of women come once a year not daily like the staff.

Dr's always rushing, explanations not really given as to what is going on, to be expected, side effects of medication unless a question is asked. Which, been in medical field, isn't proper procedure for deliverance or administration of medication or performance of procedures, minor, major, or in office. Nurses, not so wonderful by any means, with the exception of literally 1, maybe 2.
They are all rushing, on edge, rude, and disrespectful in all aspects of medical care and even as mere human beings. Great bedside manners are nil to none at all. Wait times are redundant and extensive. Even when the office isn't packed. The Dr's seem to be keen on finding reasons for unnecessary surgeries, biopsies, treatments that aren't explained in detail.
Even if insurance doesn't cover said procedures and treatments. If you don't have the money they quite literally kick you out of the office. I was faced with a rude and very mean nurse that entered my room where I was attempting to get an explanation for what procedures the Dr was wanting to have done, medications Dr wanted to have administered and ultimately a surgery and biopsy he wanted to perform.
She spoke to the nurse I was speaking to, about me, as if I weren't in the room at all. Her questioning was "Come on, is she going to get the procedure done or what, cause we have to clear the room and see the other patients." Nurse's name is Lexie who did this. I hadn't even been talking for 5 mins after waiting for over 2 hours overall. I also suffer from epilepsy and non epileptic seizures which have been active, was significantly bleeding, just had a vaginal sono done that had shown abnormalities of my uterus and kept passing out.
I was alone, fatigued, and very sick to my stomach with a migraine and body pain and had a hard time walking to due spinal injury and right hip injury after being hit by a drunk driver, driving an 18 wheeler. I was going through this alone, after dealing with the loss of both my parents to Covid-19 and after just having a miscarriage the month prior.
They don't allow others to come in, even with extenuating circumstances due to covid-19, even though that's not the case with all of my other Dr's and I see about a dozen different Dr's currently. Treatment was for sure not up to par. This was my second visit, I thought the first visit went "okay" and expected long wait time as I was a new patient.
The Dr seemed to be caring and funny but I do remember leaving with this uncertainty and empty feeling. Being confused as to what had just occured and not really knowing what was taking place as far as a game plan. I was made to go through a bunch of testing rather than requesting records, etc even though the same testing had all been done prior to me moving here in Seattle only a couple months prior.
That seems to have happened with all my Dr's here in Alabama. Feels as if they're all hurting for money right now, which is significantly understandable all things considered, but this is absolutely insane and I sure as heck don't have hundreds to keep shelling out unnecessarily. Going to go to USA Health and hoping and praying for a better outcome.
Ultimate goal is to get back to Seattle, cause in all honesty, nearly all experiences here have been horrifying. **UPDATE:** After being pressured into taking iron injections, I specifically asked what the side effects were. I was told by the Dr there were none at all. I knew better and in all honesty shouldn't have taken his word for it, after all most Dr's are merely legal drug pushers. Now, since immediately after receiving the injection I have experienced vomiting, nausea, high fever, stomach pain, body pain and fatigue has increased only I can't rest because my heart at times feels as if it's beating out of my chest and I'm restless, not to mention the muscle tension and itchy flushed feeling all over my entire body, worse in my hands and face. Everything taste like metal and my head and neck keeps hurting. Now I know these are all side effects and it takes up to a week for them to dissipate. With a E.R. visit

Dr. McCoy and her team is the best! I had some issues with a previous pregnancy and I didn't get a thorough explanation of what was going on at that time nor did I feel I was being sincerely heard when it came to certain choices. This was the cause of my search for a new OBGYN with my most recent pregnancy. Dr. McCoy is such a good listener. When she had suggestions she made sure to educate us, she wasn't pushy nor belittling.
She is professional, caring and creates a light hearted atmosphere that promotes a lasting relationship. Even though everything didn't go perfectly with my delivery, I trusted a was good hands. You'll love her.
