Dr. Cobrin and her staff will lecture you about marijuana use and pin your Gastro issues on it. unwarranted. I get it smoking is not healthy for the body but I use it for medical reasons and the psychological benefits?. The nurses were nice though. Not horrible but I will probably not return.

My appointment was 11:45am and I was still in the waiting room until 1pm. Not sure what was going on. A nurse kept telling me I was next but not mentioned a specific time.

Save your time and go to a practice that ACTUALLY values their patients. I have been consistently mistreated and misdiagnosed by Dr. Cobrin, yet she doesn't seem to remember our interactions every time I see her. They are so focused on getting a paycheck, that their patients are just a pile of dollar bills to them. The front desk is rude and unhelpful, and the "doctors" treat each disorder and disease the same, instead of using a personalized approach for each patient. Just an all around AWFUL office with rude and pretentious staff.

Dr. Blanco rocks! Just moved up from NYC and had to find local medical providers. The whole colonoscopy thing-y was SO subjective, I opted for the nearest place (Gastroenterology Associates) and took the first available appointment and doctor. Turned out to be a blessing. Had a pre-meeting with Dr. Blanco and established that he was willing to let me do it without sedation.

On the day of the procedure the staff brought me in on time, did everything super-efficiently, wheeled me into the procedure room and he was great. I had one minor twinge when the 'scope turned a corner, but that's anatomy, not driving skills. He spotted problems I couldn't even see and was as smooth and as professional as I could have asked for. Also a shout-out to his surgical assistant who kept me focused (or distracted as the case may be); (apologies for not jotting down her name). I was awake the whole time so I can actually attest to what they did and how they did it!

If I could give this office a Negative star rating I would. Simply put, I'm a patient with Crohn's(longstanding) and am due for a refill but lo and behold my pharmacist has been shut down from this office. Accredo has called multiple times to renew and this office never responded. I called 2X recently and was advised I'd get a call back and am still holding my breath.

Please excuse my blue coloring right now. We're living in a pandemic, I have a compromised immune system and these guys could care less. Do you need any more bread crumbs to follow to realize you have a choice to pick your doctor, don't pick this one!

Doctor Mauer is an amazing doctor! My family and I have been going to him for years. I have had two colonoscopies and a list of gi issues that he has handled efficiently and effectively. I would recommend him to everyone

I'm sure Dr. Mauer's care is great but I wouldn't know because the office policies there, and the scheduling team that enforces them, are about as uncaring as you can get. After a miscommunication regarding my insurance and what they claim to be a "no call/ no show" missed appt, they refuse to give me a second chance to have a consultation despite now having two separate referrals to be examined by Dr. Mauer.

Currently disappointed and still no closer to finding out what's wrong. I hope they consider a change in their policies to be more understanding and geared toward actually helping people.

Dr. Mauer is an excellent doctor who really listens to his patients. His bedside manner is exceptional, as he is always kind and compassionate. Out of all my doctors, I know he listens to how I am feeling, and takes that into consideration before even prescribing or offering a solution. I remember when I was 26, I had my first terrible flare up with Ulcerative Colitis.

More than 1/2 of my colon was inflamed and I was very, very sick. The only solution was a drug that was very expensive, but it would put me into remission. The insurance company was refusing to pay for it because it would have been cheaper for them to pay to have my entire colon removed. Well, Dr. Mauer was outraged! He went to bat for me, fought with the insurance company so that I could keep my colon.

What doctor would do that? Dr. Mauer would! I have never forgotten that, how he went above and beyond for me, his patient. I will forever be grateful for this. He is awesome and so is the rest of his team. Always friendly, always happy to be there. Needless to say, I will never change doctors. I've already got the best!
