Neurosurgery Associates was established by Dr. Saris in 1998. Dr. Saris has been in practice in New England since 1987, and in Rhode Island since 1993. There is a fundamental difference between a private practice and an academic practice. In private practice, the fundamental responsibility is the care of patients.
Services
We have been experiencing a large number of last minute cancellations and postponements. Many claimants do not show with no forewarning. While we understand the difficulties involved with your scheduling these, and appreciate your involving us in them, we book these months in advance. We move operations and clinics to accommodate them.
While someone is available around the clock to speak with, we ask that you place all calls except emergencies during weekdays from 9am to 5pm. The main number at all times is (401) 453-3545. At nights and on weekends, calling this number will give you the number to the answering service which will be answered directly and they will contact the covering provider.
