I am currently inpatient here at Arkansas Surgical Hospital. This is the best hospital I have ever been too. The staff is Amazing from checking in, to preop, postop, and being admitted and in my room. I have not met an unfriendly person yet. No one likes to be in the hospital, but if you have to as I have, this is the place to be. You also get to order your food off the menu, and it is delicious as well. Thank you Dr. Edwards, and all of the staff that has cared for me.

I had a recent surgery on my Right hip. All the staff members I encountered were very professional and kept me updated on what would be happening. My only complaint is that when I was Discharged my dressing was saturated so the nurse changed the dressing and informed my husband he would need to do the dressing changes and buy some gauze from Walmart.
She did give him the rest of the tape on the roll. By the time I got home the dressing was again saturated, I was not doing well from the Anesthesia and could barely walk with the crutches that were given to us. It was only the fact that I am an RN and had some supplies from when I was in nursing school that my husband was able to change the dressing.
We had been at the hospital since 9am and was discharged around 6pm. Supplies could have been given to my husband and charged to the hospital bill. This just left a bad taste

I've been bringing my wife here each week for her scheduled procedures. Normally we have gone to the location off University Ave in Little Rock but I guess her Doctor switched locations. Every week seemed to go perfect until her 1st treatment here at this location. When I picked her up she was very upset and explained how horribly she was treated by one of the nurses (Brittany).
I told her to speak with Dr. Roman at her next appointment with him and inform him of what happened. She did exactly that and her last appointment was wonderful and a nurse named Liz took phenomenal care of her. Nurses are so vital right now and those RN's who choose to be unprofessional and rude to their patients only do a disservice to the profession.
The rest of the staff have been great as well and very helpful. I even stopped by their cafeteria while I waited and had breakfast which didn't disappoint. Thank you to Dr. Roman for taking such great care of your patients and seeing to it they have the best nurses to care for them. I don't know who this Brittany lady is but she clearly has no business being a nurse and at best belongs in a urgent care facility taking urine samples for drug screens.
