Want to know your risk for having coronary heart disease over next ten years? We comply with the HONcode standard for health trust worthy information: verify here. A gallon of bottled water can cost more than six dollars- more than twice the price of insanely expensive gas. Some of these tools could create PHRs that are excruciatingly fancy and impractical from a health providers stand point.

Great practice! Dr. Chander and staff are pleasant, welcoming and thorough. Both my husband and I are very pleased with the care we have received over the past several years here. Rachel T., PA is great! Wait times are good as well as scheduling and pharmacy refill requests. They really do care about what is important to their patients. They take time to listen. Very refreshing in these times. I highly recommend this practice for primary care and cardiology.

This office is amazing! In a time when it is difficult to find wonderful medical providers Dr. Chandra is the miracle we were looking for. He is an amazing doctor, he spent time and answered our questions. He is amazingly thorough, kind, and explains in understandable terms. The office staff are fantastic. The ultrasound tech was awesome! He made my families visit comfortable and enjoyable. Very professional and kind. Anyone who needs their heart checked should 100% see this amazing doctor and staff. You will not be disappointed and will be treated fantastic!

Dr. Chandra and staff were amazing! Very thorough, very patient and made my first time experience a good one. Dr. Chandra spent quite a bit of time explaining procedures and answered every question I had. I felt at ease even though I was nervous. I did not feel rushed in the least. The doctor made sure he answered all my questions. He definitely has the time to make you feel you are not just a number.
I was very impressed with his bedside manner and would definitely recommend him to my friends and family. Now, his staff / techs were incredible. The ultrasound tech explained everything that was being done. He made me feel at ease through all my procedures. What a blessing to find such an amazing doctor, office staff and techs that have your vested interest at heart. Patient, professional and kind. You won't go wrong by using Smart Heart and the staff for your EKG. EKG ultrasound and/ or Stress test.

I did my research when looking for a Cardiologist. I am so glad I found Dr. Chander. He takes the time to listen to your concerns. He doesn't have a "I'm THE Doctor" superiority complex. He's empathetic but he's straight-forward with his diagnosis. He doesn't order unnecessary tests if it doesn't warrant it. He speaks to you as a person, not a number or dollar signs.
He will take his time to explain things to you. Waiting was never an issue for me. If you do wait to see him, it's because he's giving each patient the time and care they deserve. It is hard to find doctors with a good bedside manner that truly care about their patients. Dr. Chander is amazing.

First red flag: Sent my new insurance several days ahead of a second appointment to avoid a long wait. Ended up waiting over two hours anyway because I was told that my insurance takes a long time to pay or doesn't pay. The doctor was debating if he was going to see me. He is part of their network. Their billing person tells me to pay the cash now and when my insurance pays them, they will pay me.
Fat chance of that ever happening. I retorted that I am not in billing, and this is their issue with the insurance company, not mine. If they are unhappy with the speed of payment from the insurance company, then they shouldn't have signed a contract with them. The doctor eventually agreed to see me and upon entering the exam room, first thing he mentioned is that I will be sent a bill if the insurance doesn't pay.
He was rude, dismissive and spent less than 3 minutes with me (and billed insurance $189 for office outpatient visit of 15 minutes) as he hustled me out the door and told me to keep taking the medicine. I told him it wasn't working (2x), and he finally said, "well at least it doesn't give you a headache." That's when I had to be more forceful about the meds not working.
He had no response and told me to go see someone else. He doesn't care about helping patients, only enriching himself by hustling patients like a used car salesman. Red Flag 2: Couple of weeks later, I get a bill from them for the full amount for this disastrous visit mentioned above. Thankfully I received the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from my insurance provider before receiving this bill from them, and could see what was already paid out to the doctor.
I emailed a copy of this EOB from my insurance to their office to get them off my back. It clearly stated from the EOB: Patient's Responsibility: $0. Couple weeks later, I received another bill from them, billing me for the rebate that was given back to me by my insurance! They saw the rebate from the EOB and wanted that too. I had to finally call my insurance.
They called the doctor's office while I waited on the line and told them I owe nothing. Red Flag 3: I see a second EOB in the mail, but had only used insurance with this doctor once before, and was a cash patient the first time. They attempted to put in a claim for that first visit to my insurance for an appointment 2 weeks before, to get paid twice and charged the insurance claim 42% higher than what their cash rate is!
This is why it was denied, because I was not yet with this insurance company, but they tried to get a double payout. A doctor within a specific network, signs a contract with the insurance company, the fees are negotiated at a discount rate to the patients within that network. Not the other way around. Go at your own risk. I never want to deal with his shady, money grubbing, carpet mentality of a health provider for the rest of my life! Reminds me of rip off mechanics when you need service on your vehicle, that possess the commensurate level of trust and transparency.

Dr chander might be great, don't know, never saw him. But he and his staff sure don't respect patient's time. DEMANDED I be there at 12:30 for a 1:00 appointment. Then staff went to lunch at 12:30. Sat there till 1:20 without getting called while people who arrived after me were called. Shabby scheduling when I should have been first appointment after lunch.
Long lunch for Dr Chander? Over scheduling? Running patients through like an assembly line? Don't know - but sure won't be back. Professionals keep appointments they schudule.
