Siskiyou Pediatric Clinic

My daughter has seen Dr. Washburn for a few appointments, most recently her 12 month appointment. When he comes in the room to meet with us he is very kind and easy going. He got right down to my daughters level and started playing with her. He remembered things about our daughter as well as stuff about myself from the previous appointment that weren't necessarily related to her care but good to know he makes an effort to know his patients as people.

He is genuinely caring! During the appointment he entertained our daughter, read a little bit of a book to her, let her sit on his lap while he went over growth charts (not easy when she wants to wiggle and play with his computer) and he let her play with his stethoscope. She loved it! They were quick friends from the first time they met and she warms up quickly again to him each time we come in.

As a parents, we greatly appreciated the time he took to thoroughly evaluate our daughter and ask questions about her day to day. My husband hadn't met him previously but was very impressed at this appointment. We know he does this all day every day, but it didn't seem like he was just running through the motions. We had questions about weaning from breast feeding and he took the time to answer them and give his insights judgement free.

He even shared some of the experiences he has had with his own family when chatting about our daughters teeth. We feel that Dr. Washburn is a great fit for our daughter and we look forward to bringing her in for appointments. We are grateful that we found a provider for our daughter that is not only completely kid friendly but very kind and knowledgeable. We highly recommend him to friends, family and anyone looking for a great pediatrician.

The Drs at Siskiyou are so wonderful and caring. They really take the time to listen to my children and not rush them. I highly recommend.

I've taken my kids to siskiyou pediatrics since my first was born in 2015. I only had an issue years ago and since then they've been great! They get my kids in, if needed, same day usually! Staff has always been pleasant for me as well. We recently started seeing Dr. Washburn and he's absolutely amazing! He saw my newest daughter in the hospital and I really enjoyed the experience so much I switched all my kiddos to him! He's fantastic! Before that we had Koto and I adore her as well! She's great!

I just wanted to jump on here to say what an incredible job Siskiyou Pediatric is doing. Yesterday's visit with Dr. Washburg and his team was amazing. Everyone was so patient with my son and made it easier for him to not be intimidated by the experience which in turn made the whole process so much easier Thank You guys amazing job.

We really liked visiting Siskiyou and were happy to be referred to by Asante in Grant's Pass. Siskiyou saw us very promptly as they try to prioritize newborns as much as possible. We saw Doctor Washburn he is a younger fellow but very educated kind and gentle with babies. He gave me great advice and also didn't make me feel stupid for asking newbie questions.

I was given a thoughtful baby gift from his staff (I forgot to ask her name), as I mentioned to the doctor I noticed my baby's skin looked really dry in the bright lighting and after that I was given some lotion to take home, thank you very thoughtful and patient staff. Thanks for seeing us and on short notice!

I ended up having my son 3 weeks early, so I didn't have a pediatrician yet. Dr. Washburn was the on call pediatrician the night my son was born, and he let us know he was accepting new patients. I'm so glad and thankful we were able to get him as my son's Doctor. Dr. Washburn and the Siskiyou Pediatric Staff are absolutely amazing! They truly care about all their patients and it shows every time we go in for an appointment.

I hand picked my oldests pediatrician before he was born from here. I'm glad I did because Dr. Johnston has been wonderful so far to us. We switched my step daughter from GP Clinic to her care as well last year. And now our youngest also sees her. I love the atmosphere and the care from the clinic with all of our kids. It has been confusing with the different entries and procedures for entering different areas of the building though.

Her and her team have been wonderful with working with us on all of our hurdles and referring specialists as needed. Dr. Yahya is our daughters 2nd favorite doctor from there. Super professional, kind and they listen to every question.

Always been very happy with Siskiyou and Dr Marshak. Waits can be a little long, but often less than many other doctor offices. Been with them through four kids.

This has been my daughters pediatrician since she was born. They are great if all you need is well checks which is why I gave them 2 stars but they are the worst pediatrician if your kid actually needs medical care. They don't believe in preventive care at all. They won't even give the option to do tests to figure out what's wrong with your kid unless it's a COVID test.

My daughter has been sick twice now and both times they refused to treat her since she wasn't on the verge of dying. They say to stay home until it looks like she's struggling to breathe or has a very high fever. Which I would rather not let things get to that point especially if I caught early and it could've been treated with antibiotics before it got to that point. Very upset with how they handle things. We will be looking for a new pediatrician.

Sadly to say the care here has DRAMATICALLY DECLINED the last 5 years! Been going for 21 years with all my kids. I've been really patient and never complain ever! But I have definitely seen the care of the doctors here go way down hill. Office ladies have been sweet though!
