I have had many experiences with Lake Norman regional medical center over the years. What I've noticed recently is that the attitudes of the administrative staff are very negative and I have been made to feel like the only thing important is getting money out of me rather than my health. I have had wonderful experiences with the people at the mammography center.
They are kind and caring and do everything they can to make you comfortable. Unfortunately, when the impression you have of the facility as a whole is that you are just a dollar sign it doesn't make you want to go back. I will be searching for my medical care from another hospital group in the future.

I had a very positive experience at the LN emergency. Everyone was very caring and tried to make me comfortable. We there for a long time because there was a full waiting room. It seems there must be a more efficient way to run an ER, but they all seems to be the same. I would go there again if I needed emergency treatment.

I have been going here for years. Staff is professional and friendly except for this time. I had forgotten a mask, when I walked in the girl at the front desk asked if I had one. Most doctors offices will provide one for you. When I asked she "huffed" and said you need a mask. I asked for one and she "threw" it at me on the desk. She then proceeded to have an attitude while checking me in.
Some places have been relaxed about masks and some have not. I do not carry one with me and only have to go to the doctors for my check ups. She could have been a little more polite since she is the first person ou see when you walk in.

This hospital failed to update my address, which was given at the time of the visit. I've paid all of the bills I received from other providers as a result of this visit (because those providers were competent and had updated my address). The hospital sent their bills to the wrong address, so they did not get paid. Never bothered to contact me by phone or email so that the issue could be quickly resolved. Had to deal with a debt collector for a bill I could have easily paid, had I received it.

Intake was great. Nurses and staff prior to surgery were great. However, recovery nurse Valerie had no bedside manner. She would talk normal then whisper to coworker then talk normal again, which only leads one to believe she was talking smack about me. She made me feel like I was difficult which i was in pain. All would have went well except that woman left a bad impression. I have had multiple surgeries at LKN Reg and this was the first time I didn't like someone in charge of my care.

I had the best mammogram experience with Amy. I have been so scared of this for a long time because of all those horror mammography stories. But Amy made sure, I was comfortable and explained each step very well and she was very kind, gentle and very professional. So next year I will not delay my mammogram screening and I am definitely going back to Amy for another great experience.

Wow just wow. I've been so impressed with the stork landing of lake Norman regional and staff here. What a great atmosphere. The rooms literally feel like suites. The nurses and doctors are amazing. Lindsey, Tony (my birth coach) Ms Debbie, Brittany, Charlene, and Dr Al made us feel at home and took such good care of us. All of the nurses were just amazing. They really went above and beyond and took such good care of me while delivering my first baby girl Wilhelmina yesterday. I am so thankful for all of them.

We had a great experience at Lake Norman hospital! My grandmother was very well taken care of. The CCU nurses made her stay much more comfortable, so a BIG thank you to, Chloe, Victoria, Jay, DJ, Julie, and Mark. We appreciate all the time and care that they all put in to helping my grandmother recover.

The care I received for my ER visit was sub par at best. I spoke to a PA for 15 minutes and was billed over $800.00. At the same time the hospital billed me over $600 for that 15 minutes. Both bills came from different billing sources. I notified both that they had not billed my insurance. The PA bill was sorted then paid in a timely manor. The facility bill however still has not been submitted to my insurance.
I have spent multiple hours with the billing company trying to sort it out. My insurer has been on the calls with me walking the billing department through the submittal process. four months later the bill has still not been submitted to my insurance and they are threatening me with collections. I cannot even get on the phone with the billing department because of "higher than normal call volume" I am forced to leave a voice mail, but the billing department will not call back.

Lake Norman Imaging Center is a top notch and very respectable place. I have been using this office for my annual breast cancer screenings and bone density testing for 10 years. They are courteous, professional, and have the latest updates on new techniques very early on. The breast cancer imaging is careful, and communicates precisely with what is needed and happening.
I will continue to make this long drive to Lake Norman for a trusted and accurate test screening. My advice is call early as they are usually busy and appointments need 30-60 days advance notice.
