DR. Sanders has been the best Orthopedic doctor, I have seen since i started coming back in 2014. There was an occasion I saw someone else and it wasn't the same. I came back for my back and Hope to get positive answers once the MRI comes back. I have recommended him to people who have orthopedic issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Sanders for your visits.

Doctors are good but it's so hard to make appointments! Left messages but nobody returned the call! So frustrating!

The doctors are good but it is so frustrating trying to get an appointment. If you have lots of time to spend on hold, this is the place for you. You get put on hold as soon as you call. It takes awhile for the receptionist to return and then when you say you want an appointment you are put on hold again for a long time. Aggravating. My time is too valuable for this.

Dr. Sanders is amazing and makes you aware of all situation and outcome to better yourself. He takes the time to ask about my family and cares to make sure I'm successful in my recover. Staff is extremely helpful, caring and fun to have around.

What I love most about Dr. Sanders is his authentic and genuine care for me. He is dedicated to making sure that you receive the care and solutions so you can feel better and get back to enjoying life. You can tell that he has a passion for his craft. He explains things in plain English. Once he's done, you're better, you understand and you know you have a highly competent physician and friend you can call on.

Avoid this place like the plague! They'll schedule you in your least preferred location. You'll go back and forth and finally schedule an appointment. They'll call you a few hours before your appointment and ask you to come in later. Then when you arrive they'll tell you they don't take your insurance. Why don't they get that straight before you ever schedule an appointment?

I went to see Dr. Perim about terrible sciatic leg pain due to lumbar region disc herniation. Dr. Perim was able to schedule MRI the same day and perform the epidural injection the next day. He was very proactive and courteous in providing pain relief. Would recommend his services. In addition Dr. Smink was very helpful and effective in treating my youngest son, who broke his elbow in 2021. Thanks, Scott

Met Dr. Wowk for the first time. Reception staff was very nice. Dr Wowk spent more time than I even anticipated with me, asking questions and reviewing X-rays. The last ortho I saw at another practice couldn't get out the door fast enough. If you want a Doctor that wants to help you and will listed, I highly recommend Dr. Wowk.

Dr. Sanders and his staff at GWOG are beyond outstanding. They are personal, thorough and understanding. Dr. Sanders spends all the necessary time needed to make sure I understand everything about what's happening. He is by far and away the best doctor I have ever had. His expertise, knowledge and amazing personality are a unique blend that make him one of a kind.

Dr. Victor Wowk is absolutely the best of the best. Several of our family members have seen him over the past seven years for different issues. He has always been very knowledgeable and accurate, and cares for his patients. He is also highly respected by his staff. We greatly appreciate his expertise.

I appreciated the time Dr. Evans took to explain the condition of my knee, my options, and why these were the options available to me at this time. Despite his vast experience as a surgeon in the field, he has a very relatable and down to earth personality.

Dr Sanders has treated my knees and I feel have gotten the best treatment possible. I highly recommend him and have done so personally.

Dr Petruccelli was very thorough and informative in regards to my situation. He was highly recommended to me by several past patients and physical therapist.

Awful. The staff who schedule the surgery are awful, I had to actually call the doctor's cell to get them to call me back. The billing staff are awful, I paid everytime I was in the office and they have been sending me bills since May even after I spoke with them and they said I paid. It has gotten to the point where I will be reporting them to the BBB.

The PT department is nice but there is no one on one therapy, they just sort of let you do it all on your own. And finally, after having a meniscus repair done, two weeks in bed, and 3 mos of PT, they missed a tear and I need surgery again. Do yourself a favor and find another practice!

I saw Dr. Kram for a problem with my finger. This was a follow-up to a problem from about 9 months ago. Got an appointment and got in with very little wait, and was seen promptly. We discussed treatment options and what was best for me at this time in addition to options going forward. Never felt rushed and always feel like my problem will be listened to.

Dr. Korboi Evan's my go to ortho doctor and amazing surgeon. He did amazing work on reconstructing my ankle three years ago and was awesome with my 7 year old son after he hurt his elbow on the playground. Highly recommend!

Dr Sanders is the MAN! He successfully repaired meniscus tears in both of my knees and now I am back on the court hooping again! My HS son is having leg/back issues (soccer player) so I took him to see Dr. Sanders. He has a treatment plan in place to keep my son on the field! Trust me he knows what he is doing and will have you up and moving again in no time!

After two attempts to see Dr. Perim, and losing valuable work time, I have moved on. My time is just as valuable as theirs, and waiting an hour and 15 mins, still no Dr, is ridiculous.

I guess my time isn't as important as theirs. Making me wait 45 min is not cool.

Terrible customer service. I have went to the office sent an email and also posted a yelp review about the dr that I had his customer service skills and the fact that I now need the tooth removed that he worked on. ALL I GOT WAS A REPRESENTATIVE THAT CALLED ME ABOUT MY REVIEW AND THREATENED TO SEEK LEGAL ACTION ON MY EXPERIENCE AT THIS LOCATION. I work customer service and this is not the way to handle a customer.

Recently on a Friday night at 4:45pm Dr. Smink's nurse Tanya in the Germantown office of Greater Washington Orthopedic Group provided excellent patient service when she obtained a delayed MRI report and got us in touch with Dr. Smink even at such a late hour. Thank you Tanya for your caring attitude, patience and understanding for your patients!

5 star service with Dr. Evans! Even though I was 5 mins late for my 1:00pm, I was courteously greeted by Dr. Evans' receptionist, promptly given a iPad like device to fill out my personal history and information, and waited for about 10 mins to be called back to the examination room. The facility is clean and sleek with an area for physical therapy on one side, and the examination room area on the other side. There's also a xray room in the back.

And for Dr. Evans.he's young, personable, and knows his stuff. He very knowledgeable orthopedic doctor who specializes in joint replacements and sports medicine. He was also very patient with answering questions, so yelp peeps, I highly recommend this doctor!

Dr. Guterman is great - very knowledgable, great bedside manner. The staff that works in the billing department are completely incompetent. They have submitted my bill to the wrong insurance FOUR times since June. Every time I call and ask them to confirm my insurance, they confirm they have it and they don't understand what went wrong. Will not be returning because of this.

I was referred to this orthopedic group after a sudden injury. The physician I saw was incompetent and unprofessional; the x-ray technician was rude and inconsiderate of my pain on the injured site. They were trying to hard sell and rush me to do an expensive surgery without explaining clearly my situation. I was wise to get a second opinion, and was able to avoid going back to this practice.

Even if I wanted to go ahead with the suggested surgery, I would feel much more comfortable trusting my health in the hands of a better surgeon. The assistant became more helpful though, once I agreed to buy some expensive stuff from them.

Saw Dr. Sanders for my son's knee surgery. Awesome doctor, great bedside manner, very responsive (my son emailed him several times during his recovery and he always responded promptly). We have been seen at the Germantown office; staff has been wonderful and no issues with long wait times or lengthy check in process.

No complaints about the medical care here, but this office seems to have recently switched to the world's dumbest electronic medical records system. It takes 20+ minutes to fill out the initial questionnaire in the waiting room and then when you're finally seen for your appointment you have to answer all the same questions AGAIN while a nurse painstakingly types in your answers on an iPad.

The poor nurse kept apologizing, but there was nothing she could do about it: she had to follow procedure and ask every single question, even the ones that were irrelevant. 70 minutes into the appointment, nothing had been accomplished except for electronic record keeping. A colossal waste of time.

I've been on different Dr. Office and I've never seen this kind of services in my life. I'm writing this review waiting Dr. Kram for 1hr and 35 Minutes and still waiting. I'll never ever come back again. I'm referring the Rockville Office here. I don't know the rest of the branch how they treat people.

I love how dumb people are giving low reviews here for a different location. Way to fail, y'all. I've been dealing with the Rockville office for several weeks now, first seeing Dr. Petrucelli (sp) and then Dr. Seinsheimer. This office is kind and helpful, both gentlemen have been a wonderful experience, speaking plainly with me in regards to questions and concerns while also giving reassurance when I had more pressing doubts. I'll be keeping to seeing them regularly for as long as I need. Definitely both 5-star Dr's, as is the office itself.

The Worse hospital I have ever visited in my life. People were entirely very rude and I couldn't see my doctor either with appointment. Please visit other hospital to save yoir life!

First visit, I waited an hour. Second visit, I waited 2 hours. Dr. Smink's assistants seem to be miserable, unhappy people. Take your broken bones somewhere else.

Germantown location is unprofessional. Dr Guterman and staff prefer to argue with customers rather than offer customer service. This office cancelled an appointment after I took off of work and arrived to the office. I was turned away because I did not have PIP coverage with my car insurance and this office was scared they would not get paid by the health insurance.

I explained that health insurance would pay for it and this was also discussed prior to making the appointment. The customer is ultimately responsible for payment regardless of insurance decisions. While onsite they did not give me the option to pay cash or credit card either. I always believed Doctors were in the business to heal people not argue about when they will get their precious money.

Regardless I had $450 cash on hand as well as credit cards with plenty of credit to pay up front. Instead of gaining a customer they gained a one star yelp review, BBB case opened, and potential lawsuit for my day of lost work and word of mouth to avoid the Germantown office as they do not deserve your hard earned money. They could care less about you, your health or earning your business.

First, let me say that my family has has gone to Dr. Gutterman for many years and have been very satisfied. Very good and easy to deal with. But now, I'd like to relate my last experience at the Germantown office. My elbow developed an infection and needed to be drained. Dr. Gutterman drained the liquid and ordered it to be evaluated at a lab.

The staff seemed undecided where to send it, discussing perhaps LabCorp or Quest, finally deciding that neither was still open and deciding on the Germantown Shady Grove Emergency dept. They sent me there to drop it off. I was a little surprised, but I was fine with that. Turns out they were wrong. When I got to Shady Grove, I found out they don't offer this service.

So I went back to the office. The staff then decided that it needed to go to a lab the next day. I naturally figured that they would handle it. Wrong again. They told me I would have to take the samples home tonight, refrigerate them, and then I needed to take the samples to the lab. REALLY. This is MY responsibility? I rated them a 2, rather than a zero because Dr. Gutterman is very good and easy to deal with. He gets a 5.

Germantown office- I waited for an hour and a half without being seen by the Dr before walking out. The receptionist was very nice, otherwise there would be zero stars.

The physical therapy department here is great! Deanne is great! They really take care of you and make sure you are pain free and fully recovered before they send you on. Dr. Smink has been great as well.

Dr. Guterman is an absolute NO NO NO! Be careful and recommend staying away for him at all costs. Went to see him and he was the rudest and most inconsiderate doctor I have ever come across. Impatient, doesn't listen, doesn't let you talk, doesn't let you explain, hence the treatment is going to be terrible too. He can't figure the issue and gets frustrated.

I am lucky to not have used his prescribed medicine. Absolutely useless place to go and a terrible doctor to come across. Asks me since when did I have the symptoms and I said ever since I have been in the US, and he said then why don't you just go back! I was kind of shocked, but now when I think about it, I am curious which filth did his ancestors come from :

Same day appointment - check. Online paperwork download - check. Sub-10 min waiting room wait - check. Friendly and knowledgeable front desk person - check. Friendly and knowledgeable nurse - check. Friendly and REALLY knowledgeable doctor (Mazer) - check. Diagnosis and treatment plan that made sense to me - check. What else is there to say? I have a follow up in 3 weeks, so I'll report if anything changes.

This place doesn't really stand out over any other doctor's office, but I have to say that Dr. Guterman definitely does. As I sit here in his office waiting for him to visit with my hubs, all the memories of my PT, and incessant visits hold me hostage. We've shared quite a few laughs over the years during my treatment, and I'm happy to know my hubby is in great hands.

I totally recommend the Germantown office for regular visits, and their Rockville office is their nicer physical therapy location. I don't know much about the other doctors, but Guterman totally rocks.
