This test helps your physician determine if there are blockages, narrowing or aneurysm (an enlargement or a "bulge") in your aorta, which is a large artery in your abdomen. Ultrasound is used to obtain images of the aorta and the blood flow within. The test is noninvasive and should cause no significant discomfort.
Carotid ultrasound is a safe, painless procedure that uses sound waves to examine the structure and function of the carotid arteries in the neck. You have two carotid arteries, one on each side of the neck, which deliver blood from the heart to the brain. Carotid ultrasound can reveal whether an artery has any blockage and how well blood flows through the artery.

My Doctor Krishnan informs me via Privia that my echo cardiogram is normal but we need to talk about some abnormalities. I call Landsdowne and Reston the nurses exact answer, "oh well call after hours get the emergency service because Dr. Krishnan does not follow up with patients. If you want to know go to the ER. Because your health is not that urgent to us." I spent and extra $250 out of pocket for an more up to date halter-monitor.
I need to hold the thing on with tape. I don't even know if it's recording the info. If your in the medical feel and have no compassion for patients. You need to find a new career!

I wish I could give less than 1 star. We were referred to Dr. Krishnan by our primary care doctor, to diagnose and treat hbp and CHEST PAIN. saw Dr on first visit, wish lasted 15 minutes total. This included discussing abnormal ekgs with the patient at the reception desk of the waiting room. A week later stress test and ultra sound, never spoke with the dr.
We had to call and get our results. They still have never posted results to their app. But, the bill is posted rest assured. Still on same blood pressure pill, never discussed the original problem. I also agree with previous post about the receptionist. I witnessed her being rude to people on the phone and in person. I would suggest bypassing this office at all costs.

The doctors are fine but the receptionists are atrocious. I'm canceling my appointment and won't be going back. I was trying to reschedule an appointment and was on hold for over ten minutes. No indication as to when they were going to get back to me. I kept hearing the phone click like she was picking up the phone and then putting me back on hold.
I called on a different line and she answered. I told her how long I was waiting and she told me well you are just going to have to wait and disconnected before I could say anything else. I've had previous poor experiences but this clinched it. It is unfortunate because Dr. Bhanu Krishnan is really good.
