Dr. Weimin Katherine Hu is a graduate from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, with a B.S. with honors in Chemistry. After earning her M.D./Ph. D. dual degrees from St. Louis University where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha medical society honors and a Ph. D in Pharmacology and Physiolog, ehe completed her dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was the chief resident in dermatology.
Our staff uses your very first visit to the office as a time to listen to what your goals are and provide a variety of treatment options to address your areas of concern. We also use this time to answer any questions or underlying concerns you might have. Depending on your desired treatment type and your skin you might then be put on a pre-treatment regimen to help condition your skin.

I liked my previous dermatology team very much but changed medicare insurance and my PCP recommended Specialists in Dermatology. They were on time, friendly, and my NP did a meticulously careful job and asked me to come back in a month to check that the freezing procedures had indeed worked. Very thorough. I asked for a prescription and when I got home my mail-order pharmacy had already emailed me that the Rx was in process. Thank you, Specialists in Dermatology, you gave me first-rate treatment.

The entire staff at Specialists in Dermatology we're friendly, attentive and made sure to actually listen to me and answer any and all of my questions. My healing is progressing smoothly and I only felt slight pain (at the suture site) in the evening after the surgery. I am virtually pain-free since then! Thank You, Dr. Hu and your staff for a very good and pleasant experience!

I was seen on time for my scheduled appointment. Dr. Hu is a wonderful dermatologist. She is very gentle and knowledgeable. The nurse practitioner, Don, is also great. He is very gentle, thorough, and friendly. I called him the day after my procedure and left a message for him. He returned my call right away. I highly recommend this office.

I'd like to thanks all of the folks here at Specialists in Dermatology for a very positive experience yesterday! I wasn't sure what to expect as I've never been in a Dermatologist's office before, but all of the staff here from the check in desk to the staff in back truely made me feel at ease! The process of taking a sample of the lesion for testing was straight forward and relatively painless and the staff answered all of my questions completely and with compassion.
I truly appreciate their dedication to the job they do and will not hesitate to return when and if necessary to complete my treatment of this problem! Having a potential type of skin cancer is very concerning, I'm sure for anybody, but I truly feel that I'm being treated by a group of people that really care about what they do and strive to bring their best to all of their patients every day! Thank you for all you guys do!

Once you get passed the cold and serious attitude of the front desk, my experience was a pleasant and positive one! The mask mandate should be a part of their recording along with the instructions of ID & Medical card for that reason I appreciated the disposable that was furnished (after I asked & was questioned if I had one in my car?) Overall it was a clean, quiet, & professional environment :-)

Listened to all my concerns. Very polite, great experience all the way around. The entire team is fantastic and organized. This was the best medical visit I've had in years. I've never been to a dermatologist, so I didn't know what to expect, but this was a great experience. 10/10 I highly recommend Specialist in Dermatology

I have found this medical office to be very professional, attentive & courteous. Wait time for me to speak with a doctor or PA has been less than 5 minutes. My most recent doctor was Alyssa Anderson. She understood my medical issue, was knowledgeable about my skin condition & quickly applied the appropriate treatment. I highly recommend PA Anderson and Specialists in Dermatology, Tucson, AZ.

I was very pleased with my experience. This is my first time dealing with Dermatology issues and I didn't know what to expect. I was greeted professionally in a very clean atmosphere. Before I could finish my new patient forms I was called by a very personable young lady. She took my information, put me at ease and I felt comfortable in a place where I had never been.
She left and there was a knock at the door and Don the specialist came in asked some questions looked at my issue. He was great, took care of my problem and it was done before I knew it. I believe it took less that 30 minutes from the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out the door. I started the process online filled out my name address and searched for a specialist. Very easy process I am so glad it wasn't complicated. I would recommend this establishment to my family friends and strangers!

The office and medical staff are very efficient. Especially, the medical staff, who are all very good at making sure that I know exactly what is going on and that I am comfortable, as much as I can be, with those darn needles! Everyone is so efficient. It's very impressive. Dr Hu should be very proud of her staff. They are what makes her be able to work her magic! Thanks to all!
