Dr. Nichols was born and raised in Atlanta. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Biology and a MS in Microbiology. He earned his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1986. He completed his general surgery residency and colorectal fellowship at the Ochsner Foundation in New Orleans.
Dr. Joyner was born in Greenville, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology. He attended the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL. After finishing medical school he served at the University of Connecticut in Hartford, CT for his General Surgery Residency.
Dr. Koerner was born in Lynchburg, Virginia and was raised in Tampa, Florida. She graduated cum laude from the Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. She attended medical school at the Florida State University College of Medicine, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and, in 2015, graduated 1st in her class.

Man working scheduling was very rude when I was trying to schedule a new patient appointment. I do not care if it's 4:20 in the afternoon and you close at 5; do not give me an attitude and hang up on me out of the blue when I'm trying to schedule an appointment. It would be different if I had raised my voice or was rude but I did none of those things.
We all have long days there is no reason to put your bad energy onto someone else. I tried calling earlier and no one even picked up at 3pm. Extremely rude and off putting which is a shame given that the doctors seem to have great reviews.

Everyone I saw in the office from the receptionist to the doctor was very friendly. The doctor and nurse approached the taboo subject of colorectal affairs lightheartedly and connected with me in a non-intimidating and non-judgmental way. They were able to provide the treatment I needed, and the visits are very affordable with my insurance.

I chose this practice bc my mother was treated for cancer by Dr. Singh and has glowing things to say about him. I chose to see a woman practitioner bc I'm more comfortable with a woman in such a sensitive area. Nurse practitioner Fawbush was amazing! She put me at ease and was so informative about my situation. Everyone I encountered here was wonderful, highly recommend.

I had my first colonoscopy with Dr. Nichols. He is very pleasant and has great beside manner. My anesthetist was Ha. Don't remember the nurses' names. The Tech was Tiffany. All very pleasant. It was a well oiled machine. They were so efficient that I wasn't given a chance to think about being nervous. I would, and already have recommend Dr. Nichols. Overall very pleased.

Dr Singh is an outstanding doctor and surgeon. He answered all my questions and I was calm and confident going into my surgery. I know at least 3 of his prior patients, and they spoke very highly of him. My close friend said he is the only specialist She would use outside of the Emory world. His office is excellent. They answer the phone!

Overall experience is the feeling that every staff member takes the time to make the process comfortable and as stress free as possible for the patient. Dr. Jay Singh made sure that I was well informed about alternatives to surgery and the probable outcome for each alternative. As a patient, I felt that I was led to make informed decisions about what course of action suited me best. No reservations about recommending any loved one to get treatment here.
