Memphis Lung treats asthma, COPD, emphysema, bronchitis, and all breathing related disorders. Our top notch practice provides the following pulmonary services to find the right treatment just for you. In children, bronchoscopy most often is used to remove an object blocking an airway. Sometimes it's used to find out what's causing a cough that has lasted for at least a few weeks.

Went to see the doctor at this group at Baptist East. I waited for over an hour to see the doctor. He was ok but terrible follow up. Said he was going to do this, this, and that. His staff person didn't follow through with getting my order to my supply provider. After weeks of persistent calling, I decided to just buy my supplies online. Waste of time. Worst patient service and awful medical professionalism.

I'm a new patient and had my first visit today. First of all, when I called to schedule my appointment I spoke with Cassey and she was an absolute delight! How refreshing it was to speak with professional yet very sweet person. Upon arrival at the office, I checked in with Ashley at the front desk. Again very professional and personal. Summer called me back and did all the vitals along with questions regarding my visit which was yet another pleasant experience.
I was given an in depth breathing test by (I believe) Rebecca and with her personality being much like mine, that actually turned out to be fun. Last but certainly not least, Dr. Haitham El-Haddad introduced himself, discussed my issues and our plan as to how we will be dealing them. He explained everything in such a way that I fully understood all possibilities of what might be going on. I would rate this group 10 stars if I could.

My primary care physician gave me a referral to Memphis Lung-Desoto and I attended my appointment. The doctor referred me to have a sleep study done at Baptist Desito Sleep Study Center. Three months after the sleep study, I received a bill from Baptist Desoto for $5022.22 for the sleep study. I am a retired veteran and have Tricare Prime insurance.
The staff at Memphis Lung never completed the referral for the sleep study. I contacted Memphis Lung and they told me they don't do the referrals. Everyone I have contacted tells me the referring physician is responsibe for completing the referral. Now the bill has been turned over to collections and I'm still fighting it. Make sure the staff in this office does their job prior to going to an appointment they referred you to.

The Memphis office is more professional and treats their patients much better then the Southaven office. They always see me when I need to be seen instead of giving me third degree are an appointment far out when I am having a flare up. I believe it has to do with the staff because most of the doctors are from the Memphis office. They need to train Southaven how to have compassion to patients whom have serious illnesses.
