Prior to any treatment our doctors will educate you in preventative measures that you can take to improve your vision and overall health.
Our goal is to not only give you the best results with minimal discomfort, but also to make you feel like a partner during the healing process. We dedicate ourselves to ensuring that all our patients feel comfortable and informed, allowing you to make the best decisions free of anxiety or pressure.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Kraft and his dedicated staff at Total Eye Care are committed to providing individualized eye care of the highest quality to patients in the Chicagoland area. Dr. Kraft stands behind his surgical results. He conducts his own preoperative exams and is with each patient at every stage of the treatment process.
There is no such thing as a routine eye exam at Total Eye Care. Every person is treated as the unique patient that they are. In addition to the usual medical and family history, we emphasize the work and play environment so that we can tailor our recommendations to the real world that you live in. After all, the only time you are not using your eyes is when you are sleeping! Our exams always include vision testing, glaucoma and cataract screening, and an evaluation of the optic nerve and retina.
Usually cataracts develop gradually over time as the natural proteins of the eye structure clump together and cause vision to become hazy. Unless the condition is advanced, or complicated by other factors, cataracts are easily treatable. Gradual changes in vision, frequent changes of glasses prescriptions, fluctuations in visual acuity, dulled color vision, sensitivity to light, and haziness or halos around objects are all symptoms of cataracts. Because they develop gradually, patients often don't notice the condition in its earlier stages.

As a new patient I did not have high expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. They were part of my VSP vision plan network so I gave them a try. The facility, Dr. Dzubur and Joann were fantastic. Joann is caring and professional. Joann ensured that my vision was corrected and my contacts were comfortable. When I was picking up my glasses a customer had an issue with his frames.
He bought off brand frames and he had issues with the quality of the frames. The doctor heard the conversation with the receptionist and he immediately resolved his issue. I bought frames by Versace and they are wonderful. I chose designer frames because I wanted them to last. I highly recommend Total Eye Care/Family Eye Physicians

Best eye care place around. Great doctors and great service. Thank you Dr. Dzubur for introducing me to ortho-K! A great alternative to wearing contacts! Wear your contacts while you sleep, pop them out in the morning, and go about your day, 20/20 style! Did I mention is great for sports? Highly recommended!

Didn't even get to see the doctor. Made an appointment via internet. Submitted all info prior to visiting. Got confirmation email. But when we actually got there, they didn't even have our appointment set up. Had to fill out physical paper works again. Waited another hour. Asked twice a girl, named Joann, in front desk about our wait time, she was no help at all.
Feel very much mis treated. Got all out paper works back and told her to delete our info from their system and send me a confirmation email. But still didn't get delete confirmation email yet.
