Big Sky Surgery Center is a multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center that performs more than 4,500 surgical cases per year. We are a freestanding facility situated on the outskirts of downtown Missoula on the ground floor of Builidng #3 on the campus of Community Medical Center. We opened for business in March 1998. Our goal is to supply quality health care at affordable prices for our patients.
Services
Our normal business hours are 6:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday - Thursday and 6:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, except when Holiday Hours are observed. Our pre-admissions nurse is available by phone from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm on week days. Big Sky Surgery Center is a freestanding facility located on the Community Medical Center campus, next door to Building #3.

What bills can I expect to receive after surgery? A. If surgery is required, separate statements will be sent to you for each provider of services. Does Big Sky Surgery Center contract with my insurance company? A. We are preferred providers with most insurance companies. However, to ensure that we are contracted with your specific health plan, please contact your insurance company prior to surgery to verify eligibility and coverage.

Amazing staff and facility. Surgery is always nerve wrecking but even more so as a parent and your little is going through it. The staff were so friendly and caring that it helped put us at ease. They were thorough in explaining the procedure and asked if we had any questions each step of the way. I can't express how grateful I am for their care.

This surgery center was amazing. From the minute I checked in for my surgery until I checked out everyone was very pleasant and helpful. It's apparent this center is a well oiled machine filled with knowledgeable, kind, and professional individuals. I would highly recommend this center for any of your surgery needs.

I can give nothing but excellent reviews of Big Sky Surgery Center. I had my first surgery there yesterday and the entire staff made me feel reassured and safe, as it is especially hard that you can't bring a companion with you due to the Coronavirus. They held my hand when I was nervous. Every member of staff talked me through every thing that was happening and what to expect. The recover room nurse I had was the sweetest! I would recommend this Center to anyone I know.

My experience at Big Sky Surgery was absolutely amazing. The surgeon, anesthesiologist and the entire nursing staff were terrific. Everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease and explained everything in detail and answered any questions I had about my surgery. Would highly recommend Big Sky Surgery Center.
