We service patients who are quadriplegic and paraplegic who have the appropriate assistance with them. Our staff can also assist wheelchair bound patients who do not need to be completely lifted ie. We cannot guarantee that all tests ordered by a referring Physician will be feasible for a patient. We can only perform what is ordered by the Physician who has the patient's complete medical history.
If for some reason a patient cannot complete an ordered exam because they are unable to sit, lay, drink, fast etc, their appointment will not be completed that scheduled time.

Services
We hope that by spending some time here, you will become familiar with our imaging center and the physicians who will be interpreting your examination. Our practice includes the full gamut of diagnostic radiologic modalities including Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI), Computed Tomography(CT), Ultrasound, DEXA bone density evaluation, Mammography, Digital Fluoroscopy and Radiography, and Interventional Radiology. By working with you and your clinical physician we aspire to provide you with the most accurate and safest examination possible.
At Advanced Imaging, patient care is our top priority which is why we invested in getting the BEST OPEN MRI for the patients of Hernando County. Our Hitachi Oasis was selected because the field strength is high and yet the scan still more comfortable for patients. The weight capacity is up to 660 lbs.
Nearly every radiological test requires some degree of preparation on the patient's part to ensure the most accurate results. Nothing by mouth for 3 hours before the examination. You can pick up oral contrast on the business day before your examination and drink it 3 hours before the examination. For all ultrasounds of your abdomen, you should have nothing by mouth for 4 hours before the examination. For pelvic ultrasounds we require a full bladder. Please consume 32 ounces of water 1 hour before the examination.

This place is IMPOSSIBLY difficult to get a hold of. My fiance had an imaging procedure done with them last month, and now we're at the wrong and the ER doctor wants the results of the scan sent to him so we don't have to repeat the test. Been trying to get through to these people for HOURS. I have left messages, tried different extensions and spent and ungodly amount of time on hold.
Never going back here again. It would be less frustrating to build my own imaging equipment in my garage out of duct tape and bong resin then it would to deal with these people again.

Schedulers at this office are here inefficient and poorly trained. They give you an appt only to show up and find out it is a different day. They cancel appts without your knowledge. They make appts on Sat when CT scans. Are not even done. If you have to go to this office confirm and reconfirm your appointment before showing up. Will not go back there or recommend them to anyone.

They are not the only imaging center in town and I had to go somewhere else. I fell on 2/12 and called my doc right away to have x-rays done of lower limbs. It was a nightmare trying to coordinate the sending/receiving of the scripts. The doctor claimed they received confirmation of all the faxes but AI claimed they didn't receive. They do receive lots of faxes and probably lack time to weed through them.
Long story short, time passed and it is not until 3 weeks after fall (because of course you have to wait for doc to review records on top of it) and come to find out I was walking on a broken foot bone, so needless to say 8 weeks later the healing didn't occur yet. I think they can't handle the volume of patients sent to them, maybe due to lack of personnel. Now, of course the new imaging center I am dealing with asked for all my records but they haven't sent yet. You have to wait a week to get CD's and then there is a long wait in lobby to retrieve.

I have chronic cancer, so I need to get a scan every three months. I chose A/I for this purpose. I will now give multiple reasons for leaving them. Why do I need to fill out the same paperwork every 3 months? Why is it they ask for co-pay up front or can't seem to find my MOOP so that I don't have to pay? Every time! On occasions their machine seems to break down and I have to change my appt.
This week I was scheduled for an MRI instead of a CT and I was called the "night before", telling me the machine broke down! A DIFFERENT machine! It's my opinion they either do not care about the patients, don't want to work, or make mistakes on appointments. Then there's the machinery break down. How can I possibly trust them to give an accurate result of my exam? They are totally unprofessional at every level. I have enough to worry about than to get more grief from here.

Let me start by saying that if I could leave zero stars I would. To begin, I called and scheduled an appt two days weeks ahead. I was asked for my insurance information (which I provided) I received a text maybe a few days prior to my appt stating I was self pay. How? I provided both my insurances. Well I call on a Monday (hours are listed 7am-7pm) I called 14 times that day with no answer.
I left 2 messages with the insurance verification department. No one answered or returned my call. Keep in mind my appt is scheduled for the next day. So on the day of my appt I call 4 more times and finally got someone on the line. She said they would call me back. Guess what? They never did. Now I'm sitting here waiting way past my appt time. I have paid $214 for an appt that I'm not quite sure if my insurance pays for b/c their insurance verification dept never did their job.
The attitudes of the workers are poor. I asked to speak to an office manager and they completely ignored me. Probably won't use this facility again. I do want to say that the UltraSound Tech was amazing and answered all of my questions. She deserves 10 stars.

I went in for an ultrasound and was greeted after l signed in. Receptionist was pleasant and helpful. My tech was Lisa and she went above and beyond to be sure l was as comfortable as possible with the pain l was in. We had a conversation that kept my mind off the pain and she was able to get the images she needed. Great experience.
