Services
After years of drumming and surfing, I was unable to do either due to a torn labrum and other shoulder issues. Dr Stetson performed the needed repairs and not only got me back to doing both, but the entire process was flawless, from scheduling to the care taken by Dr Stetson and his staff to get me back in the water and playing drums like I was before the injury.
The Global Scholars Program sponsored by Dr. Stetson and his wife Erica awards scholarships to eligible applicants from countries with limited resources who have demonstrated a desire and ability to positively impact their communities by providing the highest quality musculoskeletal care for their patients in addition to demonstrating a passion for teaching/educating.

Dr. Bill Stetson is an excellant orthopedic doctor and surgeon. I had ACL reconstructive surgery in November 2021. It was was an autograft of my patellar tendon. I am progressing well due to the regular visits to Dr. Stetson and physical therapy. He is truly a skilled and empathetic doctor who cares about his patients

Dr. Stetson is a remarkable Doctor! His staff is very professional and compassionate to your needs. I went in for an elbow issue and carpal tunnel issue and he was able to successfully treat both issues. He lets you know your options and directs you accordingly but let's you make the ultimate decision on your care. Like my cardiologist I wouldn't go elsewhere for my orthopedic needs! When you find the right Doctor stick with them!

If you are looking for an amazing shoulder/ knee doc, Dr. Stetson should be your go-to doctor! I was referred to him via my Physical therapist for shoulder pain after an accident and very grateful I went to his office. He and his team was quick to diagnose, after they ran X-rays and MRI in house. They advise it was a partially torn labrum and advised PT was the best course of action.
I had a few follow up visits and the shoulder is now back to 100%. During the visits, both he and his staff were very professional, happy to help, and quick to see me. Also, Dr. Stetson was always so warm, friendly, and carrying during each visit to make sure I was getting the best service/ expert option.

Dr Stetson has been the best orthopedic surgeon. He takes surgery as a last resort, and experience has helped me recover from many sports, workout, and daily overuse injuries. Right shoulder impingement, left shoulder dislocation with torn rotator cuff and labrum, knee drains, elbow pain. The facility and staff are always friendly, and they are caring as if you're family.

Update: Dr. Stetson replied by adding a false statement, even he doesn't know how many times I was in their office. Wish I could give zero star to them. Advising peace to me. don't scam then. Please avoid this place. Stetson Powell uses Dr aides and charges insurance companies specialty fees, obviously scamming companies. None of the doctors have seen the actual patient.

Dr. Stetson repaired my botched rotator cuff surgery done by another Dr. claiming to be a surgeon. That was 21 years ago. After his repairs my physical therapy was completed in record time. I am 65 years old now and the shoulder Stetson operated on to this day still has better range of motion than my other shoulder. Over those past 21 years I've referred him numerous times and will continue to do so. I have just referred him again to my son-in-law. Keep up the good work and thank you again. Tom Briggs

Dr. Stetson is a great physician with a great reputation. His staff is also very friendly and helpful. I injured my shoulder and Dr. Stetson's office was able to take a X-Ray and later on a MRI of my shoulder all with in his office! It was very convenient not having to go somewhere else to do my imaging. When it came time to get a cortisone injection in my shoulder Dr. Stetson did it right there in the exam room and my shoulder started feeling better that same day.
I have recommended to multiple people that they see Dr. Stetson and they have had great experiences as well. I would recommend anyone who has an orthopedic injury to see Dr. Stetson.

I've come to Dr. Stetson's office three separate times over the last 8 years or so, with a variety of issues: I once severely banged my knee (bad enough to get deep brusing), once crushed my ankle, and most recently, had severe shoulder pain which turned out to be bursitis. Each time, i was able to get a clear diagnosis (using a combo of x-rays, an ultrasound, and/or MRI's) to ensure i hadn't done any damage warranting surgery.
In all my cases, i did not need surgery but did need a focused regimen of physical therapy, and in coordination with a PT studio that was in my health plan, i was able to reahibilitate my injuries. In all my experiences, i had good interactions with his staff, including the prep-staff that took my information, and both Dr. Stetson, and Dr. Lee (the other orthopedist in the practice) gave me adequate face-time, clearly explained the situations and what would be the best course of action, and answered any questions i had.
I had very high confidence in his diagnoses because the knee, ankle and shoulder that were injured are not-far off what i would expect this practice sees for sports medicine (which is a specialty for them), so i felt i was in good hands. No hesitation to recommend Dr. Stetson, and no hesitation to return the next time i have a need for an orthopedic exam.

Went in with a torn meniscus. Lived with it for a couple of years and decided to do something about it as it limited my activities. Dr. Stetson was knowledgable, professional, and gracious throughout. We discussed options and I decided to pull the trigger on the surgery. I am happy to have done so. I am backing to running again and the old problems with my knee are no longer there. Couldn't have had a better outcome.

Was very solid and grounded with his treatment of a horrible knee infection. He did surgery and cleaned the knee, and I started using it again. He did another cleanup and saw I was not letting it heal. He read me the riot act and almost fired me if I didn't stay off it. It worked with me, he cared, at least in principle, those reviews are all B.S. about lobby times. This guy is a good doctor.

I had an ACL surgery with Dr Stetson, and I ended up with a loose knee (positive Lachman test) afterward that prevents me now from doing basic things like hiking. He is mostly content with having other assistants fronting for him in his office, and did not show professionalism nor sensitivity with his and my poor result. At one point he said something like "well. you should be able to run without an ACL, or without a functioning one".
My response, was "yeah, but for how long. I am an active person and don't want my next operation to be a knee replacement".You would think he would want to make it right, and would show more follow through when something does not go as planned. Instead he would rather not deal with it. I am now looking for a doctor to redo it. While he is human and has probably done a lot of work for others, for me it was a very, very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Stetson is one of the best. He's helped me keep my body functioning over the years and has performed multiple surgeries and procedures on my knees. He always takes the time to understand my physical situation and listens. He cares for his patients and it shows in his actions. Thank you Dr. Stetson for all you do.
