When you sign in to the optical part I always thought it was first come first served not choosing you you want with several customers that came in way later than I. I waited over 1hour and 15 minutes when I asked how long it was gonna be knowing I should of been next got told sorry it's been a busy day but the woman really never helped but one person while a dark hair lady was the only one waiting on people.
This other woman and dark haired guy were waiting on people who had just arrived while others that been there waiting. What's wrong with this picture is them two need to be told that's not the way it works.

I had an eye exam that seemed to be ok. Then I ordered some new lenses. that was 4 weeks ago today. I was told that they had shipped two weeks ago. But they never showed up. so I called the optical shop back 5 days ago. The gal told me that she would check on them, and call me back. Well, I still haven't heard a thing. I called them twice today today.still, no calls. i am done with them.

Dr. Bell was amazing! However, they need more schedulers on staff. I've called so many times where they weren't able to schedule an appointment because they were too busy. You're better off calling first thing in the morning, I think. I had no issues with them processing my insurance, although I do see lots of people reviewing that they had issues. Like I said, Dr. Bell was really good, but they should consider improving their front desk situation.

Avoid at all costs! The billing department is absolutely terrible. After being told they couldn't bill my vision insurance, I was told I'd get a receipt in my email in a couple days to send to my own insurance. Never came. Couldn't get anyone to answer the phone, couldn't get anyone to call back after leaving messages. A year later I get a bill in the mail after they billed my health insurance for something else related to my appointment. Called to get it figured out and was met with a super unhelpful person who was more concerned with being heard than listening to why I was confused. Awful customer service. Just not worth the headache.

I work out of town. I took a half day off because I had a post-op exam (which realistically should have taken 10 minutes) scheduled for 10:40am. I arrived at 10:30. I was processed at 10:35. I was given a preliminary check at 10:55. I was escorted to a different waiting area (where my surgeon had time to walk by and say hello) at 11:00. I was escorted to the exam room at 11:20.
At 11:40, after A FULL HOUR OF WAITING I realized my time was in no way valuable to these people and walked out. I had to get back to work. Why on earth would you even make appointments if you have no intention of seeing your patients at the time of the appointment? There is no excuse for treating customers this way. I will say that my surgery with Dr. Fuller went well and was satisfied with the treatment I received from him, but the rest of my experience here was bad. Terrible location, terrible parking lot and building layout, and annoying/rude front desk. Will be avoiding in the future.

I had an appointment for new glasses prescription and contact prescription in January of 2021. It is now August and I have went in 5 times to get my contact prescription written correctly and already called close to 20x never getting a call back. I have special order contacts so I have to order 6 months at a time, I've tried multiple times to order off 1-800-contacts and there was problems with the prescription not being fully written out missing majority of the information needed to actually get contacts, then the brand they requested not carrying the size they said I needed, then the measurements not being correct, now they told me that I don't have a contact fitting on file so nobody should have written me a prescription.
After all this run around Im told I need to schedule another appointment to straighten this all out but this was supposed to be done at my original appointment and could have saved alot of time if I was told this 8 MONTHS AGO. My appointment was a lot faster than any eye appointment I've ever had. I was out the door in less than 30 minutes, when it usually takes an hour and a half. Needless to say don't waste your time or money. I'm so beyond done with this place I will never bring my business here again.

July 31, 2021 I went to this clinic for a vision problem in my left eye. I was assigned to Dr. Terry Bell. I thank God for that. I described my symptoms and even though Dr Bell wasn't seeing the problem he didn't give up on me. He had me come in on Monday for another test which revealed a detached retina. He quickly organized with Anchorage surgeons for my emergency surgery. Thanks Dr Bell for saving my sight.

I like this place. They are a decent clinic for eye exams and were able to get my significant other in right away for his eye infection. A big thank you to Matthew! The phone system however is rather frustrating. Once you call in and dial 2 for appointments, you are then directed to the front desk scheduler who is never there and you have to leave a message. No one likes talking to a machine. Why press 2 if you're not going to speak to someone who can make you an appointment? Please consider reorganizing the phone tree system.
