Lane Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery was founded in 2007 by Drs. Joshua & Tanda Lane and is a full-service dermatology, dermatologic surgery (including Mohs micrographic surgery), and aesthetics practice. As a husband and wife team, they chose to move to Columbus from the Atlanta area to serve the Columbus community, focusing on medical and surgical care of the skin, as well as laser and aesthetic enhancements.
Medical dermatology is the treatment of skin conditions, such as psoriasis, rosacea, acne, skin cancer, warts, keloids, cysts, and many others. The many varieties of skin conditions that people suffer each have their own set of causes, symptoms and treatments. Depending on the type of skin condition you may suffer from, your treatment will vary greatly.
The Doctors at Lane Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery are trained in all forms of invasive and cosmetic dermatologic surgery procedures. Skin cancers, abnormal moles, cysts, lipomas, and other growths that are either dangerous or symptomatic can be removed surgically in an outpatient setting without the need for general anesthesia.

Dr. Josh Lane and his staff are amazing! I have been going to Dr. Lane since 2007 and I would highly recommend the practice. I recommend Lane Dermatology to everyone I know. Dr. Josh is so caring and considerate and treats you family. I know I am in the best hands when he is performing procedures on me, I never worry because if he says it's all going to be just fine it is. Can't say enough about the nurses and admin staff! Top notch.

Both Dr. Tanda and Dr. Joshua Lane are extraordinary! I have been to other dermatologists in the area and have been very unhappy. Everyone at Lane Dermatology is always very nice and friendly and so helpful for any issues or questions you may have. I can only recommend seeing either Dr. Lane for your dermatological or Aesthetics needs.

Dr. Tanda and her staff are not only amazing, and professional, but she is also very thorough. She takes the time to explain all procedures, products and treatments. I never feel rushed when I am in her office. She answers all my questions with detail that I may have and I always leave completely satisfied. I highly recommend her for any and all skin care needs.

We highly recommend Lane Dermatology. Dr. Lane has an excellent bed side manner, and he is thorough. I wanted to thank his nurse Shannon for taking the time on phone with me and making the appointments work. Then there is Shannon, at check out who is also amazing, I had an emergency and she rescheduled my appointment ASAP after she knew the severity and time I needed to come into the office. Thank you

Excellent service. I am having a scar on my nose removed and was given multiple ways to have it done. I went with the quicker CO2 laser route, and it is working great. Just had my second round and that's probably all it will need. The staff is easy to work with and Dr. Lane gets right to work. He is very precise and finished before I had time to get nervous.

I drove from Auburn, AL to Columbus, GA due to SO many people recommending Lane Dermatology. I took off work and drove almost an hour each way and I am SO GLAD I did! I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The check-in process was easy, the wait was very reasonable, the staff could not have been nicer and Amanda (who I saw) was AWESOME and extremely thorough!
Not once did I feel rushed(which is HUGE for me). Every concern I had (and I brought a list!) was listened to attentively and addressed. Everyone I encountered was kind, warm, and extremely helpful. Also saw Brandon and LOVED him! I am 40 years old and have FINALLY found a dermatologist practice I love, and if I have to take off work and drive 2 hours round-trip, so be it. It was totally worth it! HIGHLY recommend Lane Dermatology!

Dr. Josh Lane and his team were quick, efficient, and caring in taking care of me during a minor surgical procedure. When I encountered an issue, Dr. Lane was prompt in responding, was quick with his input, and reassuring. When I returned to have the stitches removed, it was a very quick and easy procedure. Lane Dermatology has taken care of my family for many years. We recommend them.

I love going to my scheduled appointments with Lane Dermatology. The staff is always friendly and professional. They take the time to listen and really care about your well being, but I especially enjoy my time with Shannon the check out lady. She is awesome and always fun to talk with. I'll never change from Lane Dermatology.
