The girls in the front are not professional at all. They are all in a circle chitchatting, not paying attention. Not to mention they bill you in the process of your claims being processed through your health Insurance. Not to mention yes there is a conflict here. Doctors are GREAT the girls in the other hand are HORRIBLE!

In the words of my 6 yr old son, " This place is awesome." The staff were all friendly. The doctor made my son feel so comfortable. He was so nervous knowing that he was going to the doctors, but all that fear went out the window when he met the doctor. They are all great and I highly recommend them.

Overall as an office is disorganized and has poor bedside manner this started on 6-24-2020. I came across an unnecessary conversation with the schedule coordinator (Sophia or Sara) when I was asking to reach Dr. Cohen in regards to a surgery I was scheduled for on July 6th. She did not give attention to my concern in regards to finding alternative ways to get the needed test done with no problem.
My point WASN'T in regards to getting the test or not in itself. It was being with my nose structure and the blockage in my nose and what would be the right way to address it being that I went to CVS myself and was told how deep to insert it in my nose (it is self-administered). I wasn't comfortable doing so I called being how deep they wanted it to go so various other clinics before calling the office in regards to alternative ways.
I brought this issue to her and she dismissed what I told her saying that I should try the other clinics and " they'll figure it out" when I just said I got off the phone with them. She continued to ignore my request for the doctor and said that the information in regards to how long and how deep I was told by the CVS tech in itself wasn't nt when I JUST left the place 10 minutes prior so how isn't it?
She claimed because she did it herself that why yet my body is hers and she isnt going into surgery I am. She completely disregarded that fact that of my concern that the doctor and I discussed about and tried talking over me to prove her point not. I asked her for the doctor for a finale time after all that she said the doctor wasn't in due to surgery.
That was the only thing that needed to be said besides her own effort trying to prove me wrong with what I just saw and experienced. My mother followed up again about 5 minutes later and addressed my frustration and the staff acted like they didn't know what was going on or who I last spoke to. I want to emphasize that it is a small office and the receptionists and scheduler are right next to each other.
This behavior was very unprofessional. I followed up with Dr. Cohen today (6-26-2020) to follow up with my questions and bring the situation to his attention and he seems dismissive as well and continued to emphasize getting the test done which wasn't the main point it was addressing the alternative ways. He said he addressed his staff about it and they claimed it was a miscommunication issue because if so there would be no need for them to lie the first time when my mother followed up.
I was excited after finally figuring after many for years whats the issue with my sinus and to finally get the surgery done to have it be ruined with this unpleasant, unprofessional experience. If they can be this dysfunctional and disorganized with patients over the phone then I don't want them to touch my nose or anyone else's cause they'll disregard that as well. I definitely transferred my files to a functional and professional practice.

I needed an ENT appointment right away. I read the review of this place and wasn't sure. I decided to make an appointment and judge for myself. I am glad I did. I saw a Nurse Practioner, and I had no issues, no wait time, and glad I went. I have gone to a second appointment and still felt confident.

Ive been a client of theirs for many years now and they have really improved. The decor in their lobby has changed into a clean, neat setup of comfy chairs and paintings of Vincent Van Gogh. The Front desk were helpful and friendly. Even when they're busy they always come to you with a smile in their faces. The ear doctor that I had was named Nicole and she was very friendly and knew the problem before I would even spoke of the details as to what was wrong with my ear.
She is very intuitive and relatable. When I asked if she would make the ear clean up as pain free as possible, she did just that and made sure signs of discomfort were addressed. The wait time was only fifteen and the actual appointment with the doctor was about the same time. It was quick and convenient. Word of advice however is to make sure to get an appointment to reduce the wait time and to do it as quick as possible since they are usually booked for a week or two. So plan ahead!

STAY AWAY ****** This doctor knows nothing other than the basics of his profession. He will do the bare minimum in to get his check and that's all. Came in with an large abscess and was not even told to come back to have it drained or at the least checked on. I have already seen another real doctor he and another both told me he should have at the least scheduled me for a re visit to drain it at another time. long story short I went to a professional in NYC and he took care of me and drained it the best and healthiest way. stay away from "DR" Whong
