Met with Dr. Alkon on 3/4/22. He was honest and STRAIGH UP just how I like humans to be. He did rush the appointment which I sensed immediately and am not a huge fan of. He's not necessarily friendly or empathetic in any way but is respectful which is important. He's more of the robot type of physician, the type to see patients as file numbers if you understand what I mean.
It's cool. Unfortunately he doesn't recommend what I wanted as he does not believe I am a good candidate. His opinion is that what I wanted is a total and complete overkill for the small amount of fat and skin I have in excess. He said the scar and extended recovery time is completely unnecessary in my case and he would not put me through that unnecessarily.
I didn't believe him but accepted his medical opinion as his final word, so I Thanked him and quickly moved on. I was able to secure an appointment easily and quickly. The office space is clean and his staff Is friendly courteous and welcoming. Total opposite personality to his. Also, he refunded my consultation money which I wasn't expecting AT ALL So that was nice.
I was able to quickly find a MUCH more experienced, PERSONABLE, kind, empathetic, human like, double board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who took his time to talk to me and allowed me to speak on what and why I wanted what I wanted. This doc proposed a completely different, more sophisticated approach so I chose him. This person's patient reviews and social media presence and Interaction are amazing and he is very well respected in his field by his patients and peers. and I could immediately see why. A complete and total opposite of Alkon and an absolute pleasure to consult with.

I've been following Dr. Alkon on social media since 2016 and watched his cases throughout the years. I was very impressed by All post op outcomes. I knew once my family was totally complete I too would become a patient of Dr Alkons. I called and set my appt up with Angelica who explained to me clearly the BMI requirements in order to book an appointment.
I had my consultation in which DR. Alkon addressed all that needed to be done. He was wonderful and straight to the point, very informative on what to expect and realistic outcomes on the procedures I inquired about. I then went over with Angelica all cost and fees associated with each procedure. Once the surgery was booked I continued to follow guidelines as instructed such as maintaining weight, iron regimen ETC.
Surgery has since been done and I follow up as directed. I have NOTHING but kind words to say about the Doctor and his staff. I'm in the healthcare field and I can tell you one thing through my observation He Is a VERY meticulous surgeon who's work speaks in volume. His entire staff are very warm and empathetic. I don't usually write reviews but this had to be said. Since my surgery I LOVE the outcome. He has given me back my confidence again. Im so glad I made the right decision to go with this Doctor. I would not trust my body with any other doctor except for Dr Alkon. He is the perfect doctor he knows what he's doing his work looks like something you see all the movie stars in Hollywood getting. He's respectful takes his time to explain everything Caring very smart I'm so glad that I found him I want the world to know that good doctors do exist.

I had an abdominalplasty with Dr alkon and I made a mistake by choosing him. Please don't make the same mistake I did. If you want to feel like a number ($$) by all means go there because that's the guy for you. When I had my operation I knew something was wrong with my abdominal wall immediately after surgery. I was told everything was fine and sent on my way.
A little while after I kept trying to see him and there's was never any space the week of or after. After a while of me trying, I find out he doesn't operate on Men and the staff kept giving me the run around as if I made up my operation date and scar. To me it sounded like he didn't want to see me. And that there shows what type of doctor he is. So I had to look for another doctor to fix his mistakes.
Please think twice before going there, it's not worth the headache and heartache. I was depressed over this for a while, don't let it happen to you. It's not an isolated incident because a friend of mine had her breast and abdominalplasty done by him and she also had complications after the surgery.

I don't take surgery lightly as any surgery can be life-threatening. Also cosmetic surgery can be costly. I tried looking for Plastic surgeons in New Jersey and came across this doctor. I saw his social media posts of the before and after pictures and was intrigued. So I went ahead and emailed several times but did not get any response. I still went ahead and called and left messages and no response.
Even then I continued to call and finally got a live person to schedule me for a consultation two months out. Finally after two months I go in to the office to only be seen and rushed out. The doctor is not very personable and I felt rushed out. I think he should put as much personality & time into his office visits as he does into his social media.
Especially when people are putting their lives in his hands at a very costly price. I ended up deciding not to go with him As I did not feel safe having surgery By someone who is hard to reach or be empathetic. On a positive note his office was clean & I do give him credit if the social media before & after's are his work.

I have been following Dr. Alkon on the networks for five years, I always liked his work, but one day I decided to put my wishes and dreams in his hands, the truth is that I do not regret it. I have never been treated with such dedication and interest. He is very dedicated in his profession and very charismatic. I don't regret choosing it. My results were excellent and despite the fact that I have been operated on for a few months, he continues to follow me like the first day.
I recommend it 100%. The girls who work with him at the clinic and the doctor are super nice people and he also treats him to me, they are excellent. If I had surgery again, I would definitely do it with him.

After many years of searching for information, I finally decided to have my breast augmentation done. And of course, I chose the best plastic surgeon. He and his team are the best in NJ. I have only been operated for 1 month, and I love the result. I recommend it 100%. I can call them at any time, and even I can ask him directly for Instagram and he and his team are always with a good attitude to answer all my questions. He is very respectful, excellent doctor and very kind.

I had surgery with him and had the best experience. During the consultation, her listened to my concerns and was quick to provide the different options to address my needs. While I waited for the surgery day, I felt comfortable to call the office and ask a million questions. Every call was welcomed. I often sent messages to Dr. Alkon and he would respond as well.
Post op, he was always there to make sure I was healing properly and extended himself when I needed. I have never met a doctor that cares so genuinely as he does. He is very experienced and knows what he's doing. I have no regrets and will continue to visit him for other procedures.

Dr. Alkon and his staff exceeded all of my expectations! My results are amazing. Dr. Alkon personally responds quickly to any questions or concerns. Your safety is always his first priority. Ive researched surgeons for many months and went to a few consultations. I couldn't be any more happier with my decision.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Alkon and my whole experience. You can see by following his IG that he is an artist who truly carves out your body. I knew he was the doctor for me! I'm almost 5 months post op and extremely happy with my results. He is very attentive and you are seen by him regularly for follow ups. I had no complications but if you call, email or DM him for anything you get a response from him immediately. Which is so important. I felt very safe and cared for. He truly changes lives. I'm so happy with my decision.
