The doctor might be great but I wouldn't know as I wasn't allowed past the front office. Despite calling Medicare before and after I went to the office and getting confirmation that I could go, I was denied as soon as they realized I also had Medicaid as a secondary. I politely enquired about what I'd been told by Medicare - which was they weren't supposed to deny me because of my insurance - and they insisted that they didn't have 'that kind of contract' with Medicare.

They said they had a 'non-par' agreement with Medicare. They wouldn't even consider going just through Medicare as I hopefully suggested, and which other offices had done with no problem. A 'non-par' agreement makes them 'non-participating members' of Medicare. That means they can charge *more* for their appointments AND they can charge the patient upfront costs, letting the person on Medicare (e.g. the poor, disabled, and elderly folk) foot the entire bill.

You know. People who get maybe, if they're really *really* lucky, 1k a month for rent, food, bills, and anything else? They rely on the patient to contact Medicare for the reimbursement, knowing full well that the patient will not get the full amount and that this single appointment will cut deeply into their meager coffer; because who better to take on an expensive bill from one of the highest paying medical fields than the person who doesn't get enough money to pay for rent in the sleaziest part of town than the patient themselves?

So if you have Medicare, Medicaid, or both, I suggest you take your pithy allowance to someone who actually cares about you and fulfills their Hippocratic oath - the oath which states they're supposed to care about their *patients, * not how deep their pockets are. \_()_/

Everyone in the clinic was so nice and inviting. The annual check was the most thorough I have ever had! Dr. Foshee and Katie were amazing!

Dr Hino has been terrific to treat several skin conditions I've had. He has helped avoid needles (my request) and his course of treatment fully resolved my issue. Him and his staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. Thank you!

So far Dr Muriaku seems great. So does the office manager, Tony. But the other office and nursing staff do NOT. They don't return calls when they say they will. They won't explain policies other than just repeating the same words. The Med assistants/nurses do not seem to be knowledgeable or even able to take down basic medical history. It's all very frustrating. I'm so glad I only need them for a single diagnosis.

Such a friendly staff, definitely very nervous going in, but they were the sweetest. Thank you

Dr. Merzaku is wonderful. She really takes the time to listen to your concerns and address them. She is very good at explaining things. The nurses and office staff are very friendly and make things easy.

Dr. Murzaku is a pleasure to work with! She is professional, yet very personal and relatable. The entire staff is friendly and efficient.

The staff was very friendly, there was no wait time, and Dr. Murzaku was very thorough, asked lots of questions and was very kind. My dermatologist retired and I am so glad to have found Dr. Murzaku.

I LOVE this place! Everybody is so incredibly kind and welcoming here! Dr. Murzaku has been wonderful and listens to me when I state my concerns and always double checks to make sure I don't have any questions or concerns after each appointment. My skin already looks better after only a few appointments with them!

I have been a patient of Candace Fortson's aesthetic practice at the DCD for several years now, and she is not only very skilled and gets you amazing results, she has very good customer service! Love her! Highly recommend!

Dr. Murzaku is absolutely amazing. Phenomenal bedside manner, listens to me when I ask her questions and does not interrupt or rush me. At the end she even asked me if there are any other questions she could answer for me! She's incredibly intelligent and knows her stuff and explains exactly what she's going to do and why as well was the prescriptions as well as why she recommends them. The entire front staff is also amazing too, polite and very prompt!

The staff at this center really treat you like family. I have been for cool sculpting and to get moles removed and they have never said a rude or unkind thing to me. When I go in for cool sculpting they make sure to come in and check on me and they talk me through the massage at the end since it tends to hurt coming back to room temp lol. Their technology is fabulous and the last time I went in for the cool sculpting the massage at the end didn't even hurt! Highly recommend for every from mole removal to skin cancer!
