I've used this office for many years. All the staff are wonderful and I've never had a single issue. Terry is extremely nice and always helpful. Jennifer Taylor is very knowledgeable, personable, friendly, and always has time for her patients. Kim Cakerice is very nice and works hard for her patients. Both providers always come up with whatever it takes to solve a problem. I appreciate them very much.

Need to share this with everyone. Many many years ago when Dr. Musselman worked for another practice that I went to, he approached me to let me know he was leaving and opening his own practice and would like me to be a patient at his clinic, so I did. I'm sure the clinic he worked at didn't know he was asking patients to leave and follow him.that isn't ethical in my opinion. However, after years of going to his office they wrote me and told me they wouldn't treat me anymore.
This was all due to a colonoscopy that I had where the doctor performing the procedure had torn my spleen. This is a long story, so I will stop there, but I will never get over the fact that the doctor dropped me as a patient after asking me to follow him. Since then I found a much better practice where the people, staff, doctors, nurses and lab corp personnel are very professional and caring and absolutely NO BILLING ISSUES!

I never write Google Reviews, but just want to confirm that this place legitimately only cares about your money. My entire family (mother, father, twin brother) has been going to this practice for 20+ years. I missed one, $65 payment for a COVID test (which I thought was covered by insurance), and was promptly told that Crescent was terminating their relationship with me.
I tried to call and explain the situation to them, but like many before, was met with rudeness by Teri on the phone and got nowhere. So, I payed my outstanding balance, and that was that. The only reason that I am not giving a 1-star review is that Kim Cakerice is an absolutely phenomenal physician here, and if you get here, you should feel very lucky.
I'm absolutely gutted that I won't get to see her anymore, but unfortunately, if you miss a single payment there is no remorse here, and they will just toss you aside. I would highly recommend considering another primary care provider, especially one that shows a bit of empathy and compassion to patients that have been with them for 20+ years.

Sad because I really like the doctors here, but their collection practices are shady. I received notice that I had a balance with them or else I would be terminated. I called the office and spoke to a girl who was nice and said I'm willing to pay out of my HSA, no problem, and that sometimes mail gets lost at my house since our neighbors across the street have the same address as us.
She told me that was fine and I lined out when I would be making payments. Checks were written out and mailed. Yesteday I got a call and they were trying to collect on the same bill. I advised that I've already sent checks out for over half the balance already. She said "well I don't have them. You can pay now and we'll void the checks" I declined because it didn't sit right with me and you think they couldn just hold on to their pants.
I was met with attitude of course. If they discharge me, so be it. I've worked in small family owned practices and never seen an office do something like this. Other reviews of this place show I'm not alone. Def switching my care to another practice. Disappointing because the doctors are great. :/

AVOID THIS UNINNOVATED PRIMARY CARE PRACTICE After being a patient here for more than 21 years, I was discharged as a patient and treated like a second rated citizen for forgetting to pay a bill. Life has its circumstances but this shows that this practice, has no humility and is just like any other doctors office. In fact other doctor's office has better technology.
I stayed at this practice for a very long time because of I really thought these doctors cared. This shows me this practice and doctors doesn't care for their patients. I AM JUST ANOTHER DOLLAR BILL. I thought longevity and loyalty meant something. It no longer means anything to this practice. You no longer are human, that has a life that has issues.
You are just a dollar bill. Well if we want to act like that there are better practices out there that will provide you with updated technology, So i write this review not to tell you that these doctors are just like anyone else. As FAKE as the rest of the world. If you want the same service go to another primary care office this one has no exceptional reason or personality to be defined as "Good" You are just another number. So now i must move to another doctor that doesnt know me. Thanks Crescent Family Practice.

Sadly, I had a very similar experience as Troy. Expect I was released from the practice for a $7.17 late co pay! $7.17! I have been a patient of Jennifer Taylor's PA for over 6 years. I really admire and trust her as well as Kimberly Cakerice PA, but for this practice to allow their Office Manager Kathy, and quite possibly the doctors too, to kick people out for something so trivial, is beyond unprofessional!

Not very happy with this practice! My husband and I have been patients with office for 2 years now and he was terminated because of a small past due balance of $169. I work at a doctors office so I understand the policy and procedures, and the consequences of when patients owe balances. Before you terminate them or take them to collections, you need to communicate to them that they owe a balance and what their options may be. YOU JUST DO NOT TERMINATE THEM!.
The issue that I have is not with the providers, but its with the manager Kathy. My husband was going every 3 weeks and front desk was always nice when he came in, but no one communicated to him about the balance owed, even when he asked, they said he could pay it the next time he comes in. He went there on 5/10 for his visit and when he proceeded to leave, asked about his balance at that time, intending to pay, but realize he did not have his wallet, so the person at front desk said that he could pay the next time he comes in in 3 weeks. NO ONE, NOT A SOUL, mention to him that he needed to at least call in to pay on the phone before his next visit, because he was at risk of being terminated.
So after we received the termination letter shortly after that visit, I was appauled, livid! I felt betrayed. When he called to speak to Kathy (office mgr), she was rude and very empathetic. He asked her why no one said anything to him regarding his bill as many times as he comes in the office and mind you he pays something on his account most of the time he comes there.
She was to discuss with the docs and call him back. After a couple of weeks and no response from Kathy, my husband went there to pay off his balance, and then Kathy decided to tell him that she discussed with providers and they decided not to accept him back as a patient. I felt that if he paid his balance, they should not have terminate him and take him back as a patient.
I was really surprised that Cakerice agreed to this so we were told but it just let me know one thing from this oiffice. That kathy needs to communicate better as office manager or billing manager, what ever it is that she does, and that this is not the right place because if they are so quick to terminate over $169, then that lets me know that they are all about the money anyway.
And we were seeing CAKERICE, long before we came here at her other practice which is why we found her again and wanted to start seeing her. But oh well, lesson learned! I do not recommend this office because of lack of communication and ethics!

Jennifer is a great health care provider but the customer service and front desk staff, especially Kathy, leave a great deal to be desired. When I voiced and documented concerns to the practice over Kathy's lack of professionalism and breaches of confidentiality with regard to my personal information, I received a letter that due to my dissatisfaction, the practice would be terminating their relationship with me and that I should seek care elsewhere.
That's unfortunate because I would have preferred to continue with Jennifer as my provider but in the end it's fine with me but too bad for patients that have to deal with Kathy. I would not recommend Crescent Family Practice to anyone and am glad to know they prefer to enable their front desk staff to provide poor customer service and breach patient confidentiality rather than amicably resolve or ameliorate these significant and concerning issues.
If you can't trust a practice with your private information and to treat you with dignity and respect, how can you trust them with your health (which ultimately means trusting them with your life)? Unless you are willing to bite your tongue, keep your head down, and not voice concerns or have them addressed, keep looking until you find a worthwhile practice that will be competent in managing your health, providing excellent customer service, and keeping you and your private health information safe.

I stood up and supported my Dr's Office all through Covid and was released for a $169.00 bill that I had no idea was a few days overdue. I started going to Crescent Family Practice in early 2020 when I found out the PA who attended another Physician's office that I went to back in the mid-2000s was working at this office. I continued to go to Crescent because I really like the front desk staff and my personal Physicians Assistant who was employed there.
I supported this office all through Covid, attending the office every 3 weeks for an important visit concerning a surgery that I had some years back. I made sure I was always pleasant, smiled under my mask, brought in treats over the holidays, greeted other patients in the lobby and even drug reps that visited from time to time. Every visit, I was asked if I would like to pay something on my balance, and the majority of the time, I said, "yes." On my last visit, I was asked to pay something on my balance and I couldn't because my wallet was left at home.
They replied, "No problem, you will receive something in the mail." And that I did, A letter saying that I was terminated from the office for not paying a $169.00 balance. I thought this must be a mistake. I immediately called and was told it was not a mistake. I asked why I didn't receive a proper warning or a heads up. If I had received one, I would have paid it right away.
I was told that I received numerous phone calls and letters sent in the mail. Once I looked back through YouMail, I realized I did not receive any calls and, according to my USPS service, one invoice. After calling the office manager about my issue, I was told she would have to check with the Dr's to see if they wanted to take me back if I paid the balance.
I told her that I was concerned that this would happen again if it's not properly communicated by the front desk when I visit the office. The Office Manager must have taken this as an insult and told me that she needs to call me back, and now she's not sure if the Dr's are even going to take me back at all. A day goes by, no call. I call and get the office manager's voicemail only to find out that she's on vacation.
A week goes by, and no call. Finally, I go up to the office a week and a half later. I asked what my balance was and paid it in full. I asked to speak with the Office Manager and to find out if I was still a patient at the office or not. The Office Manager comes out and says, "Sorry, I thought I called you. The Doctors decided that they would not like to have you back".
My stomach dropped. I immediately thought to myself; Dr's must stop pushing patients towards the state that they say they would like to protect you from, Mental health and Stress. Not once did the Dr's reach out to me to hear what and why I missed a payment from miscommunication. It was all left up to the Office Manager, who continued to miscommunicate with me in person or by phone. Not to mention my insurance had already paid out over 75% of the cost of all my visits. Please learn from this and take what you can out of my message.
