At Dr. Carruther's office, we accept most major insurance plans. We do not accept insurance for cosmetic procedures. Please contact our office and ask for Jaime if you do not see your insurance provider listed. Carruthers goes above and beyond to ensure patients, even those from around the world, receive the best care. I recommend him to all my friends and family.
Services
Patients who require appointments at other times may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. We accept most major insurance plans. You should fast if we are checking your blood sugar and/or cholesterol. For most other tests, you don't need to fast. If you do need to fast, you shouldn't eat or drink anything except water for eight hours prior to your appointment.
Appointments should be made to address any new problem or concern, especially if it requires a prescription medication. Appointments are also necessary for periodic follow-up of chronic medical problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, etc. This allows us an opportunity to assess the effectiveness of treatment, evaluate for side effects of medications, and monitor lab work if necessary. Please arrive a few minutes early for your appointment so you can complete any necessary paperwork.
Are those pesky frown lines and crow's feet making you look tired, angry and old, even though you're not? BOTOX injections administered by board certified family physician Dr. Todd Carruthers, located in Allen, Texas, remedy all of the above quickly, safely and without any downtime. BOTOX injections are a cosmetic method for minimizing lines between the brows and at the corners of the eyes and across the forehead.
Pneumonia, measles, the flu, and other diseases can cause serious and potentially life-threatening health complications. Immunizations help prevent these diseases from occurring. They also play a role in protecting vulnerable individuals from these diseases, such as infants who are too young to be vaccinated.

This office advertises they accept new patients but refuse to accept an elderly person with Medicare and excellent supplemental ppo insurance. They are unfairly discriminating against the elderly for the purpose to seemingly overcharge and line their pockets, which is nothing short of wrong, lacking in integrity, unamerican and utterly disgusting.
Sure you will take the young healthy ones and sap their insurance. Don't go here for they obviously don't care about anyone but themselves. I'm sick of these money grabbing, ethics lacking POS doctors. I hope you get back 10 times what you're putting out there. You don't deserve anything else.

Very disappointed. I hate going to doctors in general and avoid it at all cost. Unfortunately I got "the flu" year ago and had to go in to find out why I was so sick. Symptoms were so different than I've ever experienced before. They were kind enough to get me in quickly which I appreciate (being a new patient). The doctor seemed very impersonal. I asked few questions and he seemed annoyed that I was even asking him them.
He tested me for flu and he came back to tell me my test came back negative for flu. So sicker than a dog headed home. I got a call a few minutes later from the front office telling me there was a mistake and I did have the flu. It was super odd. Next experience I had was when I woke up in the early morning and could not move my arm. I had a video appt with him (he was actually a little nicer this time), but he was quick to prescribe a steroids without any hands on to find out what the real issue was.
That didn't help any and I ended up going to a chiropractor who actually helped the pain go away and I could move my arm within 4 days! I've worked with the chiropractor for months now and unfortunately the excruciating pain came back and she recommended I get in touch with my MD for an MRI. I called and talked to the receptionist about how I go about getting one.
She said she'd talk to Dr and get back to me. Still waiting. This was at the beginning of the week. It's now Saturday. To get a real idea of the person he is just read his counter remarks on anyone that leaves a bad review. He doesn't take responsibility and he's always right!

Dr. Carruthers and his team are absolutely amazing. He is our family doctor for over 5+ years. We are happy with the service we received every time we come to visit. He really cares of the well-being of the person and always nice to talk to. We moved to Sherman Area but we still have him as our family Doctor.

Dr. Carruthers is simply the best! He genuinely is invested in his patients and cares to see them improve with health and through his professional advice he has really made a difference in our lives. His staff is fantastic and the experiences we have had have been absolutely wonderful! Definitely recommend!

I have been going to Dr. Carruthers for about 7+ years now. He is very attentive. His staff are very kind every time I call or come in. The front desk receptionist is always patient and accommodating. Both ladies do a phenomenal job. it always seems as if the office runs smoothly. And I wouldn't recommend another doctor! Keep up the good work, y'all!

I have been a patient of Dr. C for over 20 years, i love him. I have recommended him to all my friends and family. I have never had a bad experience with anyone in the office, they are all so friendly and helpful. I appreciate the fact if you need an last minute appointment they do what they can to fit you into his busy schedule. Thanks for all you do

Great doctor! Took the time to listen to what I had to say. Did not feel rushed at all! The scheduling process was super easy. The receptionist was so nice and accommodating. She got me scheduled quickly and was super helpful helping me understand my insurance benefits prior to the visit. The nurse is amazing as well! All around great doctor and staff!

I have been coming here for a couple years so I feel comfortable writing this review. I REALLY like these folks. I liked my previous doctor but the clinic was designed to cram as many patients through in the least amount of time. It kinda made me feel like cattle.with a $20 copay. In contrast, Dr Carruther's office is a smaller practice with nice people who take their time with you.
His nurse (Angie) is great. They are very professional yet they sorta strike you as the type of people you could be friends with in real life.unless, of course, in real life they still ask you to pee in a cup (which seems unlikely.) So to sum up: Great practice, nice people, very professional, probably no peeing in a cup in real life. I'm glad I found them. Highly recommend.
