Dr. Afshin Rezvani, or Dr. Rez, as many of his patients call him, is dedicated to taking great care of his patients. He has built a practice with the patient's needs in mind. Third molars, also known as wisdom teeth begin to develop during the early teen years and are usually recommended for removal between the ages of 13 and 21. Third molars usually begin to erupt into the dental arch during the later teenage years and early adulthood, gaining the nickname "wisdom teeth".
Deciding how to replace a missing tooth, or several missing teeth requires careful thought and consideration. For some patients, bridges or dentures may be the best solution. For most patients, dental implants are the most successful, long-lasting and cost effective solution. Dental implant replaces the missing tooth root, allowing for the construction of a crown on the implant that looks, feels and functions like a natural tooth.
Once a tooth has been severely damaged by decay, fracture or extensive periodontal disease, it may require removal. When a tooth is extracted, the nerves to the tooth are blocked with a local anesthetic agent.

I was referred to North Dallas Oral Surgery by my sister who is a Veteran Pharmacist in Allen Medical Center. The entire visit from the time I scheduled my appointment to the final procedures was robust, flawless and more importantly it was fun. The entire staff made me feel at ease. Their prices are very reasonable as well.

Everyone was very nice! The extraction was quick and not at all as scary as I thought it might be. I felt like the doctor and staff were experienced and knowledgeable. The only uncomfortable pain was when the numbness wore off but was gone with Tylenol. An ice pack throughout the evening and the prescription he prescribed before bed gave me the best sleep with no pain.
I woke up the next day with little soreness but Tylenol was enough for the day. 2 days out - I really am surprised the only pinchy annoying thing is the sutures but they will dissolve. Another thing I really appreciated, was the clear pricing for cash patients. I called around and nobody's prices were this good with a breakdown of what went into the price. I felt like the value was great! Cherry on top.the doctor called that night to check on me. How rare and nice! Thank you so much!

Hands down the best experience that I've ever had at any oral physician I've ever been to. I've got terrible anxiety plus a not so great experience from a different physician several years back but from the moment I walked through their doors, I knew this was going to be different. I needed an extraction of a baby tooth that couldn't be saved. I didn't think I would ever be able to get a dental procedure of this magnitude without being fully sedated but I was wrong!
All it took was local injected numbing and the nitro. I didn't feel a thing! Everyone from the lady at the front desk, Cara, the medical assistant and the doctor were top notch and well educated!

Dr. Rezvani was wonderful! He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in detail to me. I was very nervous to have my wisdom teeth removed and the staff was very friendly and comforting. Highly recommend this office to anyone! Great bedside manners and staff was awesome! The entire staff was very friendly. The MD was friendly, very knowledgeable of his craft, professional with a great sense of humor with an ablility to develop a great rapport quickly with my 20 year old that came in for a procedure. She was a little nervous, but left smiling. It's definitely a five star experience! Highly recommend and will return again for future services!

Had a fantastic experience at this office! I was referred by my dentist for a wisdom tooth extraction, when I made the appointment they saw me the next day for the consult and they removed it the same day. Even though I didn't use my insurance because of the waiting period, it was extremely affordable. The office is super clean and the staff is super friendly, I was in and out within 35 minutes. Dr. Rezvani is very knowledgeable and friendly.
