Dr. Swords is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is quick but never rushed, she sits down and listens and talks with you, and she always does what she says she is going to do. She's sharp, nonjudgmental, and so incredibly nice. As always, very satisfied. Dr. Galvan is the best at what he does. He's always very thorough and takes his time to answer all questions asked.
With access to your health history and an understanding of your individual needs, your doctor can give you advice over the phone to guide your next steps. A visit to an urgent care facility or, if it is a life-threatening emergency, a visit to the emergency department. Urgent care facilities are a more convenient and cost-effective alternative to the emergency department.
Born in Pennsylvania, Janine Sherman spent many years in Arkansas, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Arkansas State University in 1984. In 1996, she received her Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Texas-Houston, training as a Nurse Practitioner in women's health care.
Dr. Starr and her husband have two children and her interests include an intense interest in quilting, rug hooking and all different handcrafts. She and her husband Bill enjoy traveling and have a strong bond with the Northeast and the state of Maine. She is now a grandmother to two little boys. Born in Pittsburgh, PA., raised in Westwood, MA, Dr. Jane Starr moved to Texas in 2004.

Dr. Penkar is great. She delivered my son and was excellent. We love the doctor, but the wait time here is absolutely insane. My fiance has been sitting in the office for over an hour without any explanation as to why she is 45 minutes over her scheduled appointment time. Not even called back into a room! My advice. if you need to see these doctors. take the day off because you're gonna need it.
I've worked in the medical for the majority of my professional life in fast paced orthopedic and spinal practices, and I have never once seen a schedule that was so poorly managed. I cannot believe there are not more negative reviews about how absolutely atrocious the wait time is. This is not just one occurrence this is literally every time we have to come here. Expect minimum of an hour before you get moved into a room. Make sure to pack a lunch. Ridiculous.

I saw Dr. Utsavi Shah. Her and her nurse were quite rude and literally shutting door rudely. To opt for a suggested treatment is my right to choose but Doctor or Staff has no right to get upset on patient decisions. When I asked that I have some additional questions, I was told that she cannot come back again. She insisted me to do the labs right there and then, while I was telling her that my physical is due and some of these labs can be done by my physician.
She seemed reluctant to give me a lab order which should not be a problem at all. I needed a biopsy and supposedly needed to be scheduled but, the nurse did not schedule it for me and sent me to front desk- who I turn told me that the nurse should have scheduled it for you. I had gone to this practice because I had earlier on seen Dr Amajoh who was a very compassionate doctor but not part of practice either anymore.
This specialty (Obstetrics and Gynecology)particularly need the doctor to be compassionate with respect to woman health issues. I didnot appreciate any compassion there. Bad experience. I would probably find another doctor in same practice or another doctor elsewhere.

They have no care for patients. My First appointment, I requested to check me for thyroid and even with test order given by doctor they missed to do it. Second appointment, I suppose to schedule for an ultrasound appointment before week 14 week and which they schedule me in week 15 and after a month they canceled my ultrasound two day before my ultrasound which I was waiting for so long, just by saying sorry you are late as it should have been done in 14 week.
If that was the case so why I was not scheduled correctly even at the time of appointment schedule, I double check with them to make such l did everything done properly as my previous bad experience with them. They just keep making mistakes on mistakes and doesn't even care to accept their mistakes.

The doctor is both polite and professional at the same time which I belief is a rare combination. Also their time management is commendable and I hardly have any wait time. I always feel nervous going to the doctors but Dr. Haque makes it so smooth and comforting that I look forward for my visits at her clinic. All the nursing staff is super efficient and the front staff is very nice.

This was my first experience here at Southwest OBGYN. I was impressed with the constant communication and efficiency of being a "new patient" was for my well woman exam. I was given time in advance to fill out all my new patient information digitally, and then call in when I have parked. The process felt efficient, but I did not feel rushed during my well woman exam. It felt truly like a non-judgmental safe space to voice any concerns that I had. Thank you Dr. Diase and the receptionists for making my first experience so welcoming!

Great experience. Only problem was I was kept on hold for about 12 minutes when I called from my car to say I was there. I LOVED going straight into an exam room with no waiting. The doctor came in very quickly and was so nice and thorough. I was in and out in about 35 minutes, which was awesome! I felt very comfortable with the whole process and really appreciated the doctor/staff's efforts to keep patients from waiting. I am very confident in the doctor's abilities and hope my insurance plan doesn't change again so that I can continue seeing her. I would highly recommend.
