I have been given the run-around for the past year with Pawnee. My therapist I had left so they set me up with a new one I never met and then she too was gone. Now my third therapist decided to stop filling my medications that I've been on for years, medications that you aren't supposed to just stop taking immediately. Because I've this I've been incredibly sick.

I had one virtual meeting with her where she made me feel incredibly inadequate, judge-mental, and careless. She has cancelled five appointments on me so I'm unable to get the help that I really really need. After she said that she would not refill my medications for me until she was able to meet with me again she proceeded to schedule an appointment for me almost two months out.

This was in April. I was scheduled for sometime in June. I called the main office to file a complaint on her and after that every scheduled appointment I had, I would get a phone call saying that she would not be in the office on these days so I would have to re-schedule; FIVE times I've experienced this with them! In what way is the looked upon as okay within the walls of mental health?!

I have a history of depression and this experience I'm having with Pawnee is absolutely inhumane, I've never saw such a lack of compassion in my entire life and coming from a company that should be entitled to nothing more than tons and tons of compassion. It's so sad because my progress was so incredible and I was finally finding this true happiness and peace; then they do this to me and I just feel, I don't know. destroyed I mean honestly, who would do something like this.

It's terrible I'd like to file a lawsuit on them, but don't know where to even begin. They've damaged me so badly and that's why I give a one star rating and suggest another source of help/therapy. If anyone knows of a good place that I can get myself back to normal and have good people to talk to I'd greatly greatly appreciate your guidance! Mental health isn't a game, it's not a joke and it's not funny.

I just want to be taken seriously and not treated like a piece of garbage. I didn't choose this sickness and I would give anything to trade shoes with someone mentally stable. Good luck to those who struggle I hope we all find our garden.

Have had an incredibly frustrating time with PMH for a couple years now, from being reassigned with no notice to different therapists twice, they messed up on billing my insurance, never send prescriptions to the pharmacy I have asked them to (for months, repeatedly), never answer the phone when you call, and scheduling is god awful. Would not recommend.

There is ZERO communication among employees and patients. Customer service always says they'll call you tomorrow or leave a note for someone else to call and it NEVER happens. You have to make 3-4 phone calls to get somewhere or demand something in person.

It has never been my intention to state anything bad about a facility that is meant to help someone like me with mental health, however I must say this my second initial contact with the doctor that prescribes meds act as if he didn't remember me at all. He had my whole cart completely wrong and the medication he Prescribed to me. He said it himself I feel as if you and I never meet because his notes he wrote mind you were wrong and the medication he wrote down were different from what I was taking.

He then proceeded to prescribe medication that I told him I had a problem with when I was on it and I had to bring it to his attention that I couldn't take them meds. My very best suggestion is if and when you do get a appointment at Pawnee record your conversation with the doctor, keep your own notes and please pay close attention to how your meds make you feel. Look up the meds and check side affects if your feeling funny.

Got back to me a week after my first intake appointment to schedule an actual appointment to prescribe me meds for adhd. They sent me a voicemail telling me to set up an appointment with someone other than who I saw in the intake. So I called them to set it up, and the person running reception was extremely rude. Told me that the person I saw for the intake wasn't responsible for getting me prescribed.

I told them I was just doing what I was told in the voicemail and they got snippy with me. They then told me what day my appointment would be without asking what would work best and then when I asked them to repeat info to insure I had it correct they said it rudely and quickly and then when I said thank you they immediately hung up. If you're gonna be a receptionist you'd better learn how to speak to people.

I've been going here for years and I've recently i haven't felt like my mental health was taken as a priority. It always seems optional to them and I have gone several days without medications despite calling in refills ahead of time. Do not use these guys if you have sensitive medications, they don't care if you go without a refill for over a week Update 1 month following my last review - I called in my medications WAY early this month (7 days before my refill day) in an attempt to adhere to their new 5-7 day wait (used to be same day refills until a few months ago).

I called back today to check up on the refill and as it would be, the refill request was never submitted. So now, even though I did everything right, I've been given another 5-7 day wait period and guess who gets to go without medications for yet another week.

I was seeing a therapist. I was sent to her because the former 6 therapists Within 6mnths canceled or ghosted me. When canceling they only gave me 1hr to 30mins. I was told this would not happen with her. On the third appt I was called 24mins before my scheduled appt and told she was canceling. I wasn't even told sorry. When I told the front desk person how unprofessional that was, they didn't seem to care.

I then asked to talk to the office manager. The office manager also did not apologize. Instead gave me a list of excuses to why this was ok. I then stated that if I had called 24mins before my appt would that be acceptable? She would not answer. I told her I wanted a call back from her by the end of the business day. She then I formed me that she was busy and that in fact would not happen.

Even though that falls within her job duties. The therapist never followed up with me as the office manager told me she would. I never received any call back from either, so I fired the therapist. Horrible reflection of professionalism if I've ever seen any.

My wife has been dealing with severe anxiety. We tried to reach out and get help and they literally treated us like we were a joke. My wife signed me as a person to talk to and they told me I wasn't on the list to discuss these things. Her provider was rude and disrespectful and when her meds weren't helping her anymore she went three days off of them because they couldn't communicate with us about her appointment. This place is a joke and contributes to why America's suicide rate is going up. Wake up people! L

I am not one to write a bad review unless I feel like it's truly going to help someone else. With that being said, Pawnee has taken a serious decline just within the past 2 years. From people quitting, to not answering phones or getting prescriptions filled in a timely manner. I am 8 months pregnant and have had serious troubles with my mental health and having to go off medication. Trying to get an appointment with them has been hell. not once in the 8 months have I been seen because Doctors keep quitting leaving me to fend for my own mental health.

While I luckily can use coping skills to bring myself out of the depths, this is not the case for a lot of people. Services like these can literally mean life or death, and being denied an appointment or a prescription refill because you haven't had an appointment (because you can't get in due to their staffing) will mean death for more than it should.

It almost did to me and luckily the pharmacy vouched for me. If you are seeking professional help, please look elsewhere before considering Pawnee. I'm sad that it has come to this.
