Linda Winegardner MD, Kelli Alexander ANP and team believe a patient's health requirements are finest served by a nice relationship between the patient and his or her physician. The patient deserves a physician/supplier who will listen to his or her concerns as well as a physician who stays current on the latest medical developments.

Over the past few years, my company has worked with Vince and the staff at Family Healthcare of Lake Norman. As a healthcare technology provider and consultant for 18 years, I can easily identify medical offices are run well and provide good services. Family Healthcare of Lake Norman has been great to work with. They have a sense of doing things the right way so that they can provide the best care to their patients.

*Beware - Office manager was allowed to change my blood pressure medication and refills and he isn't even allowed to practice medicine in North Carolina. Had to report office to the NC Medical Board. *After proper blood work and follow up appointments I was told by my doctor that a year worth of blood pressure meds would be called into my pharmacy.
After nothing was called in I called the office and was assured it would be called in by the end of the day. After still nothing being called in I called back and the office manager was allowed to change my BP meds and refills with me having no conversation with my doctor about these changes. The office manager then added that I would need to come in every 3 months and pay him for follow ups in order to get what the doctor had already given me. Looks like the office manager isn't above making threats on a public forum either.

Shy away from this practice. The office staff is not friendly at all and the doctor will give you the run around to get more test and more appointments out of you. They will not call you with results of any test and will wait and have you return so they can charge for another appointment. Even with the small office there is always what seems like an excessive wait. Not recommended at all!
